In 2019 we bought a stove, dishwasher and refrigerator from Tucson Appliance Center. Our salesperson was great and we were very satisfied with all our Whirlpool appliances. When the refrigerator malfunctioned three times due to inappropriate wiring to the ice maker/water dispenser the warranty gave us money. In September 2023 We chipped in about half and bought a GE Cafe French door bottom freezer refrigerator from Tucson Appliance Company. Refrigerator has been great, excellent cooling, great ice maker, and hot or cold water as desired until February 27, 2026. The warranty company, Centricity has been less than helpful. After three different service technicians from Appliance Service Center have been to our home we have no ice maker or chilled filtered water from our refrigerator. We use a Britta pitcher for water, and I dump ice from the ice maker bucket into a bowl and keep it in the freezer for ice cubes. Today is Thursday, May 28, 2026 a third call to Tucson Appliance Center resulted in being told by the warranty person to call Centricity again as they no longer are using Centricity to warranty their appliances. The note of derision and disappointment is palpable when speaking to Tucson Appliance Center. One of my biggest disappointments is being dismissed, not listened to and talked over. I will do everything possible to never do business again with Tucson Appliance Center. I am filing a complaint with the BBB. read more

We have long been aware of Tucson Appliance's presence in the community and have appreciated what appeared to be a commitment to local service and customer care. Unfortunately, our recent experience has revealed a significant disconnect between that reputation and the level of post-sale support actually provided. After purchasing our appliance, we encountered immediate difficulty in attempting to secure a manufacturer rebate that was actively promoted at the time of sale. Despite multiple efforts on our part, Tucson Appliance provided no meaningful assistance in helping us obtain the required information or navigate the process. What should have been a straightforward follow-through on a represented benefit instead became an unnecessarily frustrating and time-consuming exercise. A rebate is not an incidental add-on--it is part of the value proposition used to close the sale. When a retailer promotes such incentives, there is a reasonable expectation that they will stand behind them, or at minimum, assist customers in successfully completing the process. That did not occur here. It is particularly disappointing because Tucson Appliance has historically differentiated itself from big box retailers through perceived service and accountability. Based on this experience, that distinction no longer appears to exist. The operation now feels transactional--no better than the large chains it once stood apart from--and that is truly unfortunate to witness. We hope you take this feedback seriously and reassess how post-sale support, particularly regarding manufacturer rebates, is handled. At present, it reflects poorly on your organization and undermines customer trust. We would appreciate a response addressing how this matter will be resolved and what steps will be taken to ensure future customers do not encounter the same issues. read more

We bought a scratch and dent GE Monogram dishwasher here and at first it seemed like a super deal. First of all it refused to remain level no matter how many adjustments were made. Second of all it did a less than mediocre job of cleaning dishes even on its heavy duty setting. We persevered with it for two months. We made a poor choice which is certainly not on Tucson Appliance. We inquired about replacing it which they happily did. They refunded all our money even after two months (try that with Best Buy) and made us a good deal on a top of the line Bosch which we are in love with. I purchased a GE Washer 07/20-/2021 from Tucson Appliance for my rental house i've owned since 1979. 10/03/2025, my tenant of 16 years called saying this washer is not agitating. Several responses including the GE Service Dept., suspected a malfunction of the magnetic lid locking system, suggesting to put a handheld magnet on lid top lower righthand corner. She did & washer performed normally. I called Tucson Appliance to repair this washer which is under warranty til 2027.. He arrived, I told him all of the above. Below is the email info I sent to the appliance warranty apartment per their request after the "tech" told me I need a plumber since the system had a pipe blockage. Meanwhile, the appliance store scheduler 3 days ago, agreed she'd send their tech's diagnosis (totally incorrect) in 2 hours to the warranty dept.. She never did so I called again today and she sent me to the store owner who started yelling, screaming(Tto me and was extremely abusive not allowing, nor shutting up long enough to carry on a decent conversaton for about 20 minutes. He was extremely insulting and I've fixed 2 other washers that had the same problem...not agitating. They were older models using a small plastic plug that fits into a hole in the bottom right side of the open lid. I'll also be 82 in 03/2026. I've reshingled all 3 of my houses myself and do most all my own handi-work. (To the appliance warranty dept.): Attached per your request are 2 photos, and 1 video Photos: One shows the WHITE TAPED abandoned sewer pipe, right rear of white washer, previously used 16 years ago that the washer drain hose was inserted into. This is the taped pipe the Tucson Appliance tech incorrectly wrote in his diagnosis being currently used and that the washer drain hose was entered into!!! This "abandoned" pipe is vented through a roof pipe cleanout. Another photo shows the GE washer drain hose with NO TAPING ON IT!!! at the left rear of the white washer. It also shows the beginning of the grey line piping system starting first with a short white PVC pipe, then a goldish beige PVC pipe with a grey metal Tstrap affixing PVC pipe to the wall. Video starts showing the beginning grey line system inside the house. A landscape contractor built this system to be used to empty the washer water out and into tree wells at front of the house. He is a cousin of my current tenant of 16 years The vertical white part in the horizontal pipe on the house floor is a vertical vent I installed myself. Before I installed it, the washer water, when emptying the water, would back up, run out of the drain pipe top, unto the floor..The landscape contractor had NO CLUE why this happened. This has never happened in 16 years until the Tucson Appliance tech messed with the washer drain house and AFTER he did, he decided the grey line pipe system was BLOCKED. The video starts inside the house showing a green water hose inserted into the current washer drain pipe which is the begiinning of the grey line system built to empty and carry out the washer water. White PVC pipe goes through a hole in the bottom of the concrete block house wall, making an elbow turn taking the white PVC along the house wall until it goes underground. Video clearly shows the water including a puddle forming from the underground washer water pipe drain system.. We have been dealing with Tucson Appliance for years. They are a well established company. Their products and service are excellent and their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I recently purchsed a refrigerator from them. There was a nice variety available, at very reasonable prices. The delivery and installation went well. For 45.00 they will deliver, install and remove your old appliance. I had an problem with the refigerator, they sent their tech Edward, who did an excellent job. My husband and I bought an expensive gas range, and refrigerator from here 13 months ago because we wanted to support a local business. Unfortunately the range was delivered inoperable and although when we purchased from them they claimed to have a service department, they directed us to contact Bosch for repair. It took several months for the repair person to arrive and several more because the part was not in stock. The oven part of the range has never really worked well. We contacted Tucson Appliance and they basically said it's not their problem and maybe Bosch would give us some kind of extension since at this point the range is out of warranty. We've been trying to contact Bosch for help but so far have not gotten anywhere. Basically paid over $3000 for a range that doesn't work. I now see a lot of negative reviews from this company. And I will share my experience as well. I bought a new home from Caldwell-Watza that came with appliances from this company. I had many issues with said appliances. I'll start with the fridge- the fridge had a glued on handle, glued on pieces on a crisper drawer, and a broken seal. I also had a glue like substance that burned into my stove when I first turned on the oven to preheat. The company came out and not only were the people who came into my home completely unprofessional and rude, they told me that "Frigidaire glued on these pieces at the manufacturer level." I called the Fridgedaire parts department myself, gave them the information and they said that's untrue. So they not only lie, they are refusing to replace the drawer in my fridge that's under warranty and lying too. They had tried to bring a drawer into my home already, but the man brought the wrong drawer. I really don't like the dishonesty of a company. You should be able to work with honesty and integrity. It doesn't matter if you are telling the BBB I'm "unreasonable." You and your company should stand behind your appliances and your word. You said you would get me a drawer, you have not. Simple as that! I would not be unreasonable if you didn't lie and give me appliances with glue and then refuse to send me the correct drawer! read more

bought a washer had it installed, for it to not work. then i'm told later on that they don't service samsung products. samsung can't make it out for two weeks and tucson appliance comes back out a second time to tell me my drain has to be up higher. they said they "fixed" it and now my washer is throwing different error codes! then they connected my hot and cold water lines backwards LOL as far as management goes and the servicing department, everyone was unprofessional and unorganized. seems like they need to get their heads out of their asses. i thought customer service still existed but apparently not anymore! read more

Disappointed. Went in there, bought a refurbished washer/dryer set with a few bumps and scratches, nothing major. Upon deliver, the storage unit under the dryer wasn't closing properly, called it in and they said they'd help. 2 weeks later I had to contact them for a status update and they said it wasn't covered by the warranty although at the time of purchase the unit was functional and during the delivery or somewhere in the process it was broken by the company employees.
