Man, this one puts McDonald's to shame. It's a hearty meal for sure. The taters were nice and crispy too. The vanilla iced coffee tasted like overly sweet chocolate milk. We weren't fans of this. Wow. We walked in to a packed restaurant and stood in line for a while but the staff worked through it unflustered. I think a college group bombarded the restaurant all at once. Seating was limited but the food runner stayed on top of everything every step of the way. Once we got our food it was hot and plentiful. If ever back in lewisburg I'd hit this spot again. read more

We love trying new places on road trips, and this place fit the bill. Unfortunately they were short staffed so it made for a longer stop then we were hoping for. When we arrived there were long lines both inside and in the drive thru, but we took it as a good sign. I'm so glad we stayed because we had the BEST breakfast. You MUST get a biscuit and please get it buttered, you will have zero regrets. My only regret is we didn't get any to go! Our family was well accommodated, and we felt welcomed to be there. The lady running the front of the house was busting her butt doing 100 things at once and did it all with a smile! The only negative I have, is about a local patron who is giving the store a terrible reputation, due to his repulsive behavior and stealing. We witnessed his act multiple times throughout our meal and then to us as well. When guests get up from the table to leave, he was seen walking over taking leftover food (Bacon) to his seat and collecting it. Additionally, he will take people's receipts and pocket them as well. I ended up confronting him, and asking for my receipt he pocketed as is made me uneasy. When confronted he gave me a bogus explanation because he had been caught. Most people are unaware because he gets to the table after they already leave, we were using the restrooms and caught him. Another local told me he does this daily and has no idea why, or why he isn't being stopped or banned from the store. It's a super bad look, and someone needs to do something. read more

While on a family trip we decided to stop for breakfast, it was 10:30 in the morning and everyone in the car was awake and hungry. We found a biscuit world just off 64, and decided to make a stop. I've only ever been to biscuit world once before in my life, and I was 17 at the time, now nearly 15 years later I was unfamiliar with the menu. My husband and three children were new to the restaurant, so we all needed a moment to look at the menu when making it to the speaker in the drive thru. I made our order, and apologized to the person waiting on us for the few minutes it took to look at the menu and place our large order (a combo meal each for all 5 people in the car). The employee responded "that's ok, maybe next time you should come in to place an order that large". I found this to be kind of rude, as I'm sure I'm not the only person using the drive thru to order for a family- especially at a fast food restaurant off the highway- but also, this employee didn't consider that maybe I couldn't come in? It's quite the task to ready a crew of three young children to go into a restaurant, especially while on a roadtrip and having been on the road at that point for 5 hours. Additionally, I have a child in the car that is disabled, and again quite the task to get in and out of the vehicle just to simply place a food order. If your restaurant offers a drive thru for ordering, then expect you may have a large order from time to time... yes even in a small town. My low rating is not just for the disrespectful tone of the drive thru employee, but the fact that after this employee made it apparent that my order was an inconvenience to him, he left out one of the sandwiches for my children. And again, we're 5 hours away from home and only stopping for breakfast before jumping back on the highway, so it's not as simple as going back for a refund or replacement. I spent over $50, and ended up giving my breakfast to one of my children so they didn't have to go hungry. read more

While on a mini vacation I had to visit Tutors in Lewisburg. It was a Saturday morning and the place was packed. I ordered a biscuit w/sausage, side order of apples and 4 extra biscuits to go. I love their biscuits! Be patience if you go when they a busy it takes a little time to get your food but definitely worth the wait. read more

The area doesn't offer many choices so you need to be open minded. We were a party of four passing through the area. We all were pleasantly surprised with the value and quality offered here. The service was excellent. They are very friendly this part of the state. The host that brought our order out to our table had worked there for 35 years, so that says something. She was super friendly and continued to ask us if we needed anything. The food was excellent. The biscuits were delicious. We would go again. Very good value for your money. First time ever at a Tudor's and if ever best one again would stop in for some good breakfast food! First off the biscuits are very good! I personally didn't like my biscuit sandwich bc I didn't realize I had ordered it with the liquid cheese, but I scrapped it off and ate the shaved ham and biscuit with some honey and butter. My husband had the steak, cheese and hash brown biscuit and enjoyed it. He didn't realize it was going to be country fried steak. I guess we need to read menus better! Apples were also delicious and glad we ordered them! The hash browns were good and the coffee could be a bit stronger but that is a personal preference. The real food standout was the blueberry muffin!!! This was almost as good as the biscuits! Service was extremely kind and they come around to make sure you had everything you needed. Staff was lovely and helpful so I am giving it 3 stars. Unfortunately the food left plenty to be desired. Cold greasy biscuit sandwich. The American cheese slice wasn't even melted. We stopped into tudors biscuit world on the way back from snowshoe mountain. We found tudors biscuit world right off our route and decided to stop in. They have plenty off parking and it was t to crowded for a Sunday morning. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese biscuit along with French toast sticks and it was delicious. The biscuits alone were so yummy and the French toast was a nice sweet add that I shared with my friends. One of the guys even ordered an extra sausage biscuit and flapjack sandwich for the road!! One thing to note was the coffee was not that strong, so I would probably stick to water/Diet Coke next time. Stop in if you need some good eats!!! read more

We were driving through the area when we saw this place tutors biscuit world. It seemed intriguing so we stopped by. It was an adorable breakfast spot with a very energetic and fast paced counter person who also took the dishes away and brought coffee for patrons. Highly recommend this place; think of a diner with very fast service and delicious food. I recommend the sausage gravy with biscuit, but the two biscuit was massive and to much food - I'd go for the single biscuit and gravy next time. This place was a great find! First, food was excellent. All of it. Scrambled eggs were real eggs and not greasy. Biscuit- amazing size and flavor. Baked apples were perfect- not too sweet or syrupy. Absolutely loved Tudor's Biscuit World! Was more than surprised that it was so delicious, given that it was pretty much the only thing we could find in middle WV, we weren't expecting much. We ordered the Politician, a large biscuit with a massive slab of grilled bologna, egg and cheese. This thing is a beast, don't even think about ordering two. We also tried the Blackberry Biscuit, a split biscuit with blackberry compote smothering both halves, plus a drizzle of icing and some granola sprinkled on top. It was delicious and a meal in itself. We walked in on 7/19/24, and the place was... shabby but that's not necessarily a sign of bad food or service. As we were waiting for the many employees to decide who was taking the order of the couple in front of us at the counter, another came out with trays of food for a party already seated and was coughing profusely. She then proceeded to complain by loudly exclaiming OH GREAT at customers coming into the place. Still coughing she dropped the food off at her tables (the place was not busy inside as there were only three tables of customers). It reminded me of being at home, exactly where I was headed! The Mac and cheese was a bit bland. I also had the beans, which were pretty good. The biscuit was amazing...I mean if you're gonna have chain restaurant named "biscuit world," the biscuits should be pretty dang good. My sister and niece had the chicken fried chicken.
