I wanted to go to this location to take advantage of $2.50 chili dogs off a commercial I had seen in Prestonsburg, KY when I was staying overnight for business. When I drove towards the drive thru speaker, I found that the menu had breakfast items even after 11 a.m. I had come to find that the location only serves breakfast. I had assumed because it was open from 5:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. that the 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. would have been lunch. Yeah, no, that sounds odd. Garbage. The quality of the food here is very low, either they don't give a fuck or they're trying but are just terrible at life. This place should burn down in the middle of the night and do the world a favor. This is the second place I've tried to have breakfast in Lexington and I'm starting to get angry. There's always either a lady at the window who literally yells and pushes your food out the window at you. Today the man was extremely rude when taking my order and when handing me my food. All o wanted was some hot sauce. We bring our kids here once a week because we do enjoy the food but he slammed the window in our faces and the way all staff constantly treats us and others is ridiculous. Service was a little slow, but they were busy and the bagger was trying his best to keep up. My biscuit and hasbrowns were absolutely delish. The biscuit was hearty. I could feel the weight of it in my to go bag and quickly realized I didn't have napkins in my bag either. But I simply stuffed my face and dealt with it because it was so good. read more

I was up and out early this morning and decided to get breakfast. Tubor's is relatively close so I decided to go. I went through the drive thru and they quick taking order. I ordered the Dottie and was told the prices have increased. I have had issues with up charges for taking the hashbrown off my breakfast sandwich. This visit was disappointing because my biscuit was undercooked. I have noticed there are certain times when this food is best. read more

I have been to this Tudor's many times, most visits, I'd give 4.5 or 5 stars to. The last couple, not so much. We ordered a shaved ham biscuit, without cheese. I guess they just took all the ham off one that cheese had touched, because once home, it had less than an ounce of ham on it (yes, I have a food scale) Service was extremely slow. Both of these are out of the ordinary from what we're accustomed to when we grab something from here. Hopefully management will look into this. read more

Just had a bad experience. Food was cheap but some of it was inedible. Weirdly chewy ham. Eggs broke and filled the takeout bag with yoke. There wasn't enough food in the carb smart option it was just a tiny amount of nothing. They were very quick, server was efficient and kind. read more

Best biscuit sandwich you'll find besides maybe popeyes. Overall the quality is definitely higher. Only issue is it greasy, but like what'd you expect. Don't sleep on the breakfast burrito either. Service is quick, but I've never gone inside. read more

Excellent Bacon & The best sausage (nice size & DELICIOUS); however, it seems when they are running low on sausage, they have a back-up lower quality brand small patty hard & burnt they mix in my bag with the large size high quality delicious sausage. Comparing to Biscuit Belly, Biscuit Belly's sausage is tiny with loads of grease fat oosing out. Not good. I went on Sunday at 1:20pm to get sausages & a biscuit. They have the best jumbo biscuits with delicious marmalade jellies & gravy to cover. All other breakfast food is just basic -- nothing special -- no cheese in eggs (cheese slice is placed on top eggs like Waffle House) & no special omelets. Sunday, I was very dissatisfied my sausages were warmest cold & biscuit was stale. I did not feel like turning around to come back. read more

Who doesn't love breakfast food? I have been wanting to try Tudor's since it opened. It definitely did not disappoint. I got the classic breakfast platter. It comes with eggs, a biscuit, and your choice of sausage or bacon. I am VERY cautious about restaurant eggs, especially at a fast food place. However, Tudor's eggs were actually okay. Their biscuits are HUGE. Like, my picture does not do it justice. I also got a small biscuit and gravy. Very inexpensive for quite a bit of food. I believe the platter was $5 and the biscuit and gravy was $3. For a good amount of food, it was totally worth it. Tudor's has breakfast hours. I believe they open at 5 and close at 2. Also, there is definitely going to be a line in the drive thru, however it moves fast. The employees are very friendly as well. Definitely try this!! read more

This spectacular breakfast restaurant is only open from 5:30am to 2pm but it is Lexington's newest popular breakfast restaurant. Due to their limited hours and tasty meals, the wait times for the drive-through are quite extended In the mornings so please leave out 30 mins early so you won't be late for work or school. The first time I arrived to the restaurant, I noticed the long time and wanted to turn around. Luckily there is a friend greeter outside ready to assist you with your order. The restaurant employee gave me a great recommendation for their hot & delicious fried apples as they were just that!! I also tried a Steak, Cheese and Hash brown biscuit and it was FABULOUS!! The biscuits are labeled with cute names so that made it enjoyable. We will definitely return soon!! Unsure of their dine-in policy due to covid but the staff wore proper protective gear. read more

Having driven past many, many Tudor's Biscuit Worlds while traveling in West Virginia, and wondering what they are like, I was excited to learn about a month ago, that Lexington was going to be getting our own. Jumped the gun and headed over there last week, but they weren't open yet. Made the drive again today and this time, they were open and doing brisk business! For now, drive through is your only option, as the dining room is closed due to COVID restrictions, I assume. That being said, while the line of cars in front of me was pretty lengthy, the service was extremely efficient. So, don't freak if you see a line of cars...if you have time, get in line. They keep it moving. One other note, their hours are limited to 5:30 AM until 2:00. I'm not sure if that's temporary or permanent, but you might want to check their hours before you head over. Anyway, on to the food! Oh my god, no exaggeration, these biscuits are crazy good and for my money, they're hands down the best breakfast biscuits out there compared to their competitors. First of all, they're HUGE! Over four inches in diameter and two and a half inches tall! Most people will be satisfied eating just one. They have a great homemade flavor and texture and the bottoms have a nicely baked and browned crunch. I wanted to try a few things, so I got two biscuits and a wrap. The Ron (sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit) was excellent and exceeded my expectations. Same with the Miner (bacon, hash brown, and melted cheese biscuit). Both were huge, had great flavor, and were loaded with their components! For the breakfast wrap, I ordered a Loaded Sausage Breakfast Wrap, which consisted of a soft flour tortilla, sausage, green peppers, onions, and egg. As with the biscuits, the wrap was over-sized compared to the typical fast food breakfast wrap, maybe four times larger than what you'll typically find. About seven inches long and three inches wide and stuffed with ingredients, you won't find yourself taking a bite and just getting empty tortilla. Curiosity, more than anything, was my motivation for trying Tudor's, and I didn't expect to be wowed, but WOW!! Next time you're thinking about heading to McD's for a breakfast sandwich, head to Tudor's instead, you won't regret it! read more

When I visit from Los Angeles I always make sure I get breakfast sandwiches and biscuits from Tudors. I had had them 20 years ago in West Virginia but now they are in Lexington. The biscuits are simply amazing. All the food is very good. I deducted one star because I had a chicken and egg biscuit and the chicken just wasn't good. I have had it before and it was good. We've tried the Dottie, the politician, and many others. I personally am not a fan of fried bologna but my girlfriend and friends love it. No pics becuase the food rarely lasts long enough. Next time I will take pics. The biscuits are large buttery flaky southern biscuits and are Delicious. If you want good southern biscuits and biscuit sammys drive to the north end of Lexington and get Tudor's. read more

Ah, Tudors! So happy find one near my vacation spot. The biscuits are huge, soft, sweet, everything a biscuit should be. Had the sausage, egg and cheese (The Ron). Biscuit melted in my mouth yet held shape for the sandwich. Sausage was mild and very yummy. Friend had the loaded burrito. Loaded with eggs, sausage, cheese and some veggies. Tortilla was soft and warm. He's already planning on getting another tomorrow. We split the blackberry biscuit for dinner dessert. Added some Culver's vanilla ice cream to it. Fantastic biscuits. I was craving biscuits and gravy one morning and ordered some from Door dash. The food came piping hot. The biscuits were buttery, dense, and fluffy. The gravy was made there. Meh. That's all I can say about the food. There was nothing that blew my mind about this place. If you are hungry and it's breakfast time, this place is about 2 slots higher than a McDonald's. The biscuit was fluffy but lacked flavor in my opinion. The meat was greasy and dripped everywhere....ham juice all over the bag and subsequent car. Would I come here again? I would give this a 5 out of 5 if the customer service was better! I love this place and hate they have had to open during covid! I used to frequent other locations when I lived in VA. Some of the menu items are not quite the same as other locations, and this may be due to covid. But when you order something and expected it to be what you order but do not want to wait another 20 plus minutes in line to get it fixed you just deal with it... the other issue is the cashier saying to you we don't do that or we will give you packets instead of making it... fix your service and this goes to a 5 out of 5..... please! read more
