I was up and out early this morning and decided to get breakfast. Tubor's is relatively close so I decided to go. I went through the drive thru and they quick taking order. I ordered the Dottie and was told the prices have increased. I have had issues with up charges for taking the hashbrown off my breakfast sandwich. This visit was disappointing because my biscuit was undercooked. I have noticed there are certain times when this food is best.

For fast food, Tudor's has some pretty yummy food! The BLT was fabulous and generous on the bacon. Sweet tea was good - but no lemon???

The bacon egg and cheese biscuit bought for me from here was beautiful and quite tasty! The coffee was just what I needed to get my day going. Unfortunately, I didn't visit the actual restaurant but my family did. I wish I had more pics to share. I really enjoyed my breakfast from here! Tudor's Biscuit World was GREAT!!! Give them a try if you like perfectly browned biscuits and good coffee.

Who doesn't love breakfast food? I have been wanting to try Tudor's since it opened. It definitely did not disappoint. I got the classic breakfast platter. It comes with eggs, a biscuit, and your choice of sausage or bacon. I am VERY cautious about restaurant eggs, especially at a fast food place. However, Tudor's eggs were actually okay. Their biscuits are HUGE. Like, my picture does not do it justice. I also got a small biscuit and gravy. Very inexpensive for quite a bit of food. I believe the platter was $5 and the biscuit and gravy was $3. For a good amount of food, it was totally worth it. Tudor's has breakfast hours. I believe they open at 5 and close at 2. Also, there is definitely going to be a line in the drive thru, however it moves fast. The employees are very friendly as well. Definitely try this!!

Having driven past many, many Tudor's Biscuit Worlds while traveling in West Virginia, and wondering what they are like, I was excited to learn about a month ago, that Lexington was going to be getting our own. Jumped the gun and headed over there last week, but they weren't open yet. Made the drive again today and this time, they were open and doing brisk business! For now, drive through is your only option, as the dining room is closed due to COVID restrictions, I assume. That being said, while the line of cars in front of me was pretty lengthy, the service was extremely efficient. So, don't freak if you see a line of cars...if you have time, get in line. They keep it moving. One other note, their hours are limited to 5:30 AM until 2:00. I'm not sure if that's temporary or permanent, but you might want to check their hours before you head over. Anyway, on to the food! Oh my god, no exaggeration, these biscuits are crazy good and for my money, they're hands down the best breakfast biscuits out there compared to their competitors. First of all, they're HUGE! Over four inches in diameter and two and a half inches tall! Most people will be satisfied eating just one. They have a great homemade flavor and texture and the bottoms have a nicely baked and browned crunch. I wanted to try a few things, so I got two biscuits and a wrap. The Ron (sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit) was excellent and exceeded my expectations. Same with the Miner (bacon, hash brown, and melted cheese biscuit). Both were huge, had great flavor, and were loaded with their components! For the breakfast wrap, I ordered a Loaded Sausage Breakfast Wrap, which consisted of a soft flour tortilla, sausage, green peppers, onions, and egg. As with the biscuits, the wrap was over-sized compared to the typical fast food breakfast wrap, maybe four times larger than what you'll typically find. About seven inches long and three inches wide and stuffed with ingredients, you won't find yourself taking a bite and just getting empty tortilla. Curiosity, more than anything, was my motivation for trying Tudor's, and I didn't expect to be wowed, but WOW!! Next time you're thinking about heading to McD's for a breakfast sandwich, head to Tudor's instead, you won't regret it!

He's from this general area and recommended this spot, among a few others. I picked it because I liked the vibe, which I stand by in hindsight. Last Thursday was an atrocious weather day, raining for most of the time including the entire morning as we drove up to Lexington from Irvine. Since we'd never been over here, Josie's wasn't necessarily easy to spot apart from the other nearby businesses. It WAS very obviously in this larger strip mall situation (which doesn't seem like exactly the right term, but it's definitely in a building with a bunch of other stores), though we had to walk around almost the entire perimeter from our parking spot on Euclid to find it. Once we did, smooth sailing. Despite the fact that it was a weekday, Josie's was pretty busy when we walked in around 10ish. We WERE heading toward MDW, which could have been a factor, but this seems to be a pretty popular establishment regardless. It feels pretty new - this isn't like an old school greasy spoon diner type of situation - with some interesting artwork on the walls, and booths, regular tables and counter stools potentially available. Our colleague was already there and had secured a booth towards the back closer to the bathrooms, which allowed for some fun viewpoints of most of the restaurant. We were already a few days into our debauchery of a road trip, so I kept it pretty well-behaved - I opted for waffles with strawberries. That's it. The food came very quickly, as did the requested coffee, which might have ultimately been more important than the aforementioned waffles in the grand scheme of things. I honestly don't have a lot to say about them other than that they were perfectly fine waffles. The strawberries were fresh, the waffles themselves were cooked through but not too crispy, and that was that. I think it's a little hard to mess up something this basic, and thankfully all was well. The service was excellent throughout and even though I didn't foot any part of the bill (a thank you to our Kentucky colleague), the prices seemed very reasonable to me - though I also have a completely distorted perspective given that most of my consumerism takes place in the NYC area. No issues here; didn't see a ton of reasons to wander back into Lexington unless somehow Coach Cal comes back to coach the Cats and I miraculously score tickets to something at Rupp, but this was a nice little spot.
