Their location is primo as it is easy-on and easy-off, and they are located right next to a gas station and 100 yards from a grocery store ... so kudos for location. When we visited we were making time on the road so we used the drive-through, which was super handy for those on the move. Maybe next time we'll use the sit-in, full-service dining room, which did look inviting. For a dish, we had just what you'd expect and just what they are known for ... a biscuit. Since we weren't quite ready for a full meal, we passed up all the combinations you can have with your biscuit ... egg, sausage patty, cheese, blueberries, etc. ... but even with just a plain biscuit this was a five star event. The biscuit was tender on the inside and slightly crispy on the top and bottom ... simply a wonderful biscuit. I ate all of my biscuit's top and bottom, and my mate did the same. While the inside was also lush, the slightly crispy top and bottom and perfectly done buttery biscuit made it a winner. Now that we know what Tudors is all about ... and they have dozens of retail outlets around, mostly through Ohio ... we will make sure to stop again when we see one, especially on our jaunts between Chicago and Charlotte. As a former West Virginian this is one of my favorite WV restaurants and I always get breakfast here if I'm passing through. My other favorite is a bacon egg and cheese biscuit. My most recent trip was when the National Harley Owner Group was in town for a rally. I talked a dozen people into skipping the low quality hotel breakfast and coming down to Tudors....and you know what they did??? They got breakfast here everyday for the remainder of the rally. Yeah, it's that good when you don't have good options like this back home. Service here was great. Food was made quickly and brought out to me. A lady walked around offering coffee refills and she gladly filled my tumbler to go. The vibe at Tudors is pretty much the same, just a basic small restaurant with easy to clean seats and tables.
