The manager is incredibly unprofessional. I left my phone number while delivering a door dash months ago after they said they were looking for a driver. Today out of the blue I received a call asking me if I could take an order. I told them I was on a delivery, but I would be there in about 20 minutes. (it was raining and traffic was thick) They called me 14 minutes later asking where I was, I told them I had finished my preexisting order and was headed to the store. They anxiously called me 8 minutes later to inform me the customer was calling about their order. I told him I would be there shortly, but I wasn't going to take their order but instead to make sure they removed my phone number from their system. I arrived at the store and asked for the manager. They told me the manager wasn't there. How was I supposed to fill out a W2 or 1099-NEC if there wasn't a manager there there? Was he expecting me to work under the table? Maybe this is why they can't keep good drivers; because they run a circus. The lady at the counter was nice. read more

Just went there and got the chicken parm. Please be aware it's not the traditional chicken parm that you're expecting cause my "chicken parm" was a 1/4 of a chicken breast pounded extremely thin with no breaded coating. Mostly pasta which I understand cause pasta costs what...? Like $3 a box???? What should've been a decent meal turned out to be just pasta with chunky tomato sauce with what I was told was "Italian chunks of sausage" and a paper thin chicken breast. I ordered 2 of them and paid $30 and both entrees came with a garlic bread that was similar to a frozen bosco stick but way thinner and without the cheese filling. Rosati's has a similar option that was my regular go to and will now be my only option when in the mood for chicken parm. I was willing to try something new but wasn't worth the experience. I recently moved to Crystal Lake and was looking for great delivery options. I have tried several other places that were recommended by friends, but I really love Papa Saverio's. I love their pizza, the breaded mushrooms and especially the wings. The garlic Parmesan wings are beyond compare. Delivery is reliable! The food is warm when I get it. We had a delicious meal tonight delivered. We had a Baked Mostaccioli with Meatballs added on and a Lasagna. I loved that there were sauce and meat options for our dishes. The food came so hot that it burned my mouth, portions are very generous and affordably priced. The tomato sauce is a little sweeter which I really enjoy. The meatballs were super flavorful. It appears to me that they take phone orders off site and there is no communication between the order taker and the counter workers. Who even made this? Who ever did please stop making pizza. I was disappointed when I took a bite. Disgusting pizza! I had order their thin crust pizza for $15.99 . With Green pepper, extra cheese and ground beef. Total of $26.48 . The cheese seems very thick and chewy. It seems like cheap cheese to me and this is the most disgusting pizza I ever bit into or even put in my mouth. They didn't even cut the pizzas topping and it was hard to even get a piece. Pizza was good. Not bad if you like a little sweetness to your sauce. We ordered a thin crust and it was a cracker like crust. For some reason I kept smelling burnt grease in the dough. My wife had a taste for pasta and wanted to go out to an Italian restaurant and I was comfortable at home and didn't want to go out. I said why don't we order from Papa Saverio's. She didn't think that was a good idea saying it's a pizza place and their pasta probably isn't going to be that good. I ordered some wings in case the past wasn't that good. When my wife was done eating I asked her how she liked the Moataccioli in meat sauce and she said probably the best she ever had. Now, this isn't just anybody paying a compliment, this is probably the most critical restaurant person around. She's a great cook and expects everything we eat out to be the same way. My family absolutely loves the pizza here. For me it's just okay but we come here often because my kids and husband really like it. Why three stars then? It's the people who work here who really ruin it for me. We have come here probably once a week and I would say 3/4 times they get something wrong! And it's not the same thing each time it's something different every time. They make the pizza wrong, they cut it when asked not to, make it on the wrong crust. It's across the board terrible service. After them constantly messing up for the last several years I finally have my husband convinced to stop coming here. We drive from North Barrington to have pizza with our children. The Italian sausage on the pizza is always so fresh and generous. We always order extra to take home. Our children like to see Mr Pat he always welcomes us when he is around. Great food and staff. Thank you for keeping good pizza in the burbs, wish you were a bit closer but worth the drive. My company orders catering from Papa Saverio's in Crystal Lake once or twice every year. While I cannot comment on their pizza, we order the Italian beef, the chicken and the mostaccioli and all are great! Customer service is always excellent; I spoke with Don, who was extremely helpful. My favorite is definitely the beef, which is always perfectly seasoned. The pasta sauce for the modtaccioli could use some additonal seasoning, but otherwise I have no complaints. Delivery has always been on-time. We'll be back. read more

Pushing money away! So I entered the restaurant around 7:45 pm and they don't close until 10. I normally go in there for two slices of pizza. They told me they have no slices left and all the chairs are up on the tables. Really? It's only 7:45. How do you except to make money when you have all that up and no made pizza slices? Absolutely horrible customer service, just purchased a new home in the area and was excited for a new pizza place. Typically we order pizza every friday but today we were switching it up and doing a pizza monday. Went to call in my order and was treated like more of a disturbance then a paying customer, asked to speak with a manager and then was promptly informed I was speaking with a manager which was shocking with the rudeness and attitude. Will never attempt to place another order at this establishment because clearly they do not have time and do not need your money. Luckily nicks pizza was more then pleased to help us. I am a big fan of their thin crust pizza, which is the best pizza they offer. The sausage and pepperoni and veggies are of good quality; they use real cheese; and the pizza is not greasy or too salty (ala Rosatis.....) Note that the pizza they sell by the slice is their double crust, which is not my favorite. I do wish that this location ran more specials or offered more coupons similar to the Lake in the Hills location, but the thin crust at this location is thinner and better compared to the LITH location. I called the store, and because we ordered the pizza on Thursday, and he ate the leftovers today, the manager suggested that possibly we were responsible for the foreign object. Not sure who ate what or when, but last Saturday we had a sausage, mushroom and green pepper pizza delivered. It was hot, crispy (as we like it) and delicious! My wife is a former New Yorker (the City) and I grew up in Chicago. All we can say is that it ranks among the very best we've had. We're going to order again tonight. read more
