    Valentines dessert
    Bianca S.

Sadly if I could give it a half star I would. We came here for Valentine's Day. We didn't see on the website anywhere that they had a valentines special menu. We showed up and were surprised. This menu off the bat was very abstract. A bit too abstract. We didn't have a Choice of the regular menu. If we had known beforehand we wouldn't have booked it and came another day. When the food was brought out sadly the waiter didn't seem like they knew either what it was. The oysters tasted like butter, the beat salad tasted like over priced grass and fish, and there was this odd gray mess. Then we had our steak. I think my mom seasons steak better. The mash next to it was way too sweet and the sauce unseasoned. Then this weird white mixture came out. This abstract place was too abstract as it tasted like crushed up meringue in a wet, egg in honey. The dessert finally came. The heart was tasty but the cake kinda tasted like soap. For over $200, I would never come back for Valentines again

The ribeye at Tula was incredible -perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. Great service and a cozy atmosphere. Definitely coming back!

The place is tucked away and low key on purpose, but once you step inside, it's like entering another world. A magical land where cocktails reign supreme and Vincent is the all-powerful sorcerer behind the bar. There's no menu here... and there doesn't need to be. You simply tell Vincent what you're craving, and he conjures it with a flick of the wrist, a dash of bitters, and probably some ancient incantation whispered under his breath. I had three... maybe four drinks (time works differently in magical places), and each one was flawless. Complex yet balanced, bold yet smooth... true potions of happiness. If you're lucky enough to find yourself in this enchanted hideaway on the one night a week it's open, let Vincent work his craft. Just know you'll leave spellbound... and in my case, headed straight to bed, because even wizards can't save a 40-year-old from an early bedtime after a few too many old fashioneds.

The drinks were very well made, and I especially enjoyed the Snake Oil Salesman cocktail, it tasted like a delicious spicy margarita. The happy hour food specials were excellent. The baked garlic butter oysters and Rockefeller oysters were both very good and such a great deal. The deviled eggs and Gumbo Ya Ya were also full of flavor and definitely worth trying. Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive, which made the experience even better. Overall, a fantastic happy hour spot with great drinks, tasty food, and a lively vibe. I'll definitely be back!

Smoked wings were cooked perfectly!! Hint of Smoke and juicy!!! Deviled eggs w Caviar and Black Truffle are not what they are cracked up to be. Just a basic deviled egg taste. Couldnt taste and truffle or caviar. Good but Not worth the price point. Grilled Cheese Oysters were delicious!!! Came out piping hot and when eaten, the are between raw and cooked. So tender and sweet w a parm cheese crust!!! Definitely would buy again! Gumbo- was waaaaay over peppered. The flavor was good w perfectly cooked shrimp but the black pepper was overwhelming the dish. Past experiences, the Gumbo has been one of the best, but not tonight. Now the main reason to visit Voodoo. The beignets- 5 per serving, comes out piping hot covered in powder sugar!!! So light and puffy and each bite melts in your mouth. If I didnt know, I would think there was some type of creme inside! These are NOT like the donut style most places serve. These are pillows of goodness that melts in your mouth. Tip: You must eat them hot!!! If you want very good Cajun food, try Voodoo Bayou!

We shared the Italian dinner for 2, which arrived hot and more than enough for the two of us. We even took some home. Service was great, food arrived timely and we had a good experience. Second day we had breakfast which was nothing special. I had fruit and an English muffin and all was well. For lunch we got a cup of Italian wedding soup which was not Italian wedding soup. It had some spice that I didn't care for at all. We also order the chicken nachos which had spicy chicken (not mentioned) and the chips were super stale. Dinner was a total fiasco. I ordered grilled chicken sandwich and my husband ordered a chicken entree. After 40 minutes our food arrived and the person giving us the food apologized for the delay but they had a mishap in the kitchen. I took a bite of my sandwich and realized it was fish. I detest fish! Found the server and he looked at it and agreed it wasn't chicken. Finally brought my chicken sandwich over 10 minutes later and I had just lost my appetite after waiting so long. The server said a manager would be over but they never came. He took the chicken sandwich off the bill, but not before he took the mandatory 18% tip. We were staying at the resort but never ate there another time. Too many other better restaurants in the area.

We came on a Tuesday night and had plenty of choice for seating both inside and out. We sat outside and the rooftop view is stunning and really sets the tone for the night. It's the kind of place you can settle into and enjoy your time without feeling rushed. We were here from 7 to 11PM. Natalia was our server and she was awesome. Super friendly, checked on us just the right amount and made the whole dinner feel easy. I had the surf and turf which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. My dining partner ordered the salmon and loved it just as much. I had a few Palomas and honestly lost count at some point which probably says everything about how good they were. Between the food the drinks the service and the view this place really gets it right and I'd definitely come back and recommend it.

Attended with my daughter, aunt, and two adult cousins (About $15O)- food not included. Entertainment was decent. Needed more of something to feel Brazil carnival Food--I ordered from main menu "Kimchi fried rice," which is one of my favorite dishes. I lived in South Korea for a year. I noted that the pork belly in my kimchi fried rice was very hard and chewy (overcooked) which should not be the case. Otherwise I could taste the kimchi which was good. Around the table, there were fried chicken wings, a big juicy burger, French fries (very tasty) and one of my cousins have the special skewered chicken from the Brazilian menu. She reported the chicken to be very bland despite its colorful appearance. All in all, everyone said, their food was "OK." The specialty drinks, Caipirinha (X 2) were good. Service was wonderful --our server Susan checked on us often. She was very attentive (we did pay for a reserved table & attention, I suppose). The manager checked on us twice to make sure we were having a good time and we were - generally speaking. It's a beautiful rooftop. For the manger & waitress, I would return and I'll give the kimchi fried rice another try as well - don't overcook and cook even more in caste iron dish. Cheers!
