I've been going here for years and they are very professional, kind and have great prices

So I actually popped in here one day while my car was getting new tires across the street. I had about an hour to kill, so I thought why not treat myself. I walked in, everyone was busy working, but they said they could get to me pretty soon. They filled the foot bath and started soaking me. I became worried at that moment because I opened up Yelp to find some pretty bad reviews. I was shaking in my seat LOL I knew I only had an hour, so after about 15 minutes of soaking one of the ladies finished up with another customer and came over. She asked what I wanted and I asked for the basic pedicure. I was very clear that I needed to be done by 12:30. She looked at the clock and said, "No problem". She seemed very sure about that, so I asked if I had time for the next level up pedi and she again said "Sure". So away we go. She opened up a sterilized bag of supplies and went to work. She was very detailed and quick, without any causing any damage with the cuticle clippers. I loved the smell of the scrub, the feel of the warm towels and the hot wax, and felt really relaxed with the hot stone massage. I kinda wished I wasn't in a rush to have her do it a little longer. She finished up with a great paint job. She even rubbed my shoulders for a bit while I sat at the drier. And guess what - I was finished on time!! All of this for 40.00! Yeah - I'm fan! Is it a fancy place? No. But it allowed me to sit back and relax a bit, while I pampered my feet and legs. I'll be back again! read more

This place is not too bad at all, Hannah was my nail tech and she was so sweet and genuine. I got a gel manicure and honestly, it's not the best.. I got a purple color and it started to turn green by the next day! I'm not one to make a huge deal and it's not TOO noticeable. The overall experience was so nice though. Just a tip, make an appointment. They squeezed me in but they had to turn down a couple people due to them having prior appointments. read more

Not a bad option if you live close by. The massage chairs are old, the decor dated, the smell of chemicals could make a grown man cry, but service is good and price is great ($25 for mani pedi, I got Shellac mani for $22). What I like about this place is it's not packed even on the weekend, so you get great service and not feel rushed. Lots of colors for Shellac as well, very tempting...... It felt like my nails were under the UV light a lot longer than at other places, personally I'm not sure if that's necessary since Shellac in my experience has always been indestructible, but hey maybe this time it's even stronger..... read more

I live right next door to this place, so I started going about a year ago. I can literally walk there. At first, I started going to a woman named Kay. She was very nice as long as you talked to her about her family and made small talk. Until one day she snapped on me when I nicely told her I didn't like my nails. I wasn't rude or demanding. I just wanted her to re-file the nails that she left slanted. After that time, she never put the same effort into my nails and started being sloppy. Next I started going to Susan, because I noticed everyone was asking for her. She did a perfect job, and I could trust that my nails would come out right every time. Today, I found out that she is no longer there. I tried to give another technician a chance since going there is so convenient. I called first to make sure they weren't busy and walked over. Once I got there and picked a color, they put me in a pedicure chair to soak my feet while I chose a shelac color for my hands. No problem, right? Wrong! They left me soaking in cold water for 20 minutes while they kept telling me they'll be right with me and refusing to give me an actual time of when they'd start on me. If that wasn't enough, they kept talking under their breath in Vietnamese after everytime I asked how much longer. It was weird because they weren't busy. There were only 3 other women in the whole salon. I don't have a problem with waiting, but be up front with me. Don't trap me into staying by leaving my feet soaking in water until you feel like helping me. I eventually asked for a towel to dry my feet off so I could just leave. I'm really torn about going back. It's so convenient, BUT there's a huge decline in service and the pricing is just ok. I may try to find another place close by. :/ read more

Went on a Sunday afternoon place was busy, I waited about an hour , it was not my first time there , once I started getting my pedicure the lady barely touched my feet I dont know if she didnt like the fact that I declined additional services she offered. I waited for an hour and spent five min doing my pedi, I also got a manicure I had to tell her to re do the polish because she didn't paint the whole nail, when I told her about it she had an attitude, when I proceeded to sit to the table to dry my nails she didn't do the back massage that it's always included no matter what kind of pedicure you get. I still gave her a tip but honestly she did not deserve one , I always go et my nails done yhis has been by far the worst experience . My pedicure didn't even last one day. Terrible . I recently moved to this area, and decided to try this shop. When I came in, they asked me what I wanted done. I let the young lady know I wanted my eyebrows waxed. She asked me the wait a few minutes. I sat patiently. About five minutes passed, and another lady entered the shop. They asked her what she wanted, and she said a full set of nails. SLOW! Have 2 hours for a manicure? Then go to Tulipo. This place was slow the first time I went, but at least I was spoken to when walking in the door. I went here during my lunch from work though again, and was never helped at the front desk. 10 minutes later I was assigned a place to sit. I waited another 10 minutes and no one came. The facilities are nice and clean. There are plenty of chairs and staff to accommodate a large crowd. I came in a group of three, they let us come in near closing time which was really nice of them. We only wanted pedicures everything was going fine and dandy... until one of the employees hustled my friend. I clearly stated we only needed pedicures. She comes and start prepping my friends hand for manicure. By that time my friend is feeling bad and was like okayyyyy fine since you started. We're nurses so it's hard for us to maintain manicures so of course she had to get shellac. Then she started to push paraffin on her also. My friend clearly said no thanks it's not needed. Tell me why this lady came back and had a baggie of paraffin ready for her hands?!?! My friend is so nice. She was guilted into it. Like I understand the hustle but that was too much. Too pushy! I like this place but that one employee was just too much. She took advantage of someone who is just very considerate and sweet. That was very uncool. They do good work here. NEVER USE THIS SHOP EVER!!! I received the worst service ever. First, I told the nail tech that I only had an hour for a fill. She took forever to take the polish off my nails and then quit to go work on another customer. Next I showed her a picture of the simple design that I wanted on my nails and told her that I did not want to pay $15 extra for shellac polish. She said she could to the design. After messing up three times, she finally went to the shellac, without informing me! What was supposed to cost $20 they charged me $40 because of the shellac!! NEVER AGAIN!!! To be honest, this is a nice place, but when the owner is around. I was told the owner was in Vietnam, that is why they don't care about the customer service. I am not going back. This is my second time trying to get a Shellac (light pink color) on my nails, and none of the girls were able to do it right, and when I asked if someone knew how to do it right one of the girls responded ( I don't speak English) and minutes ago and on previous visits she spoke to me in English. Very poor customer service. I understand that when you are pregnant you are upset all the time, but just for the records when you have to deal with customers or you are in sales you MUST be nice and try to do the best you can. They get upset if you ask them a question if you look at them when they are trying to put your sandals on, etc. etc. I used to go to this place every week, but definitely not going back. the last time I told the lady that the shellac she was doing was not comming out right it was very ugly. She removed the color and made me wait for over 20 minutes and I got tired of waiting and left. They charged the regular mani and pedi $30.00, for not doing their job.
