The rooms are secluded to give you that private experience, lots of mirrors and lighting to give you the full effect of your dress. My stylist, Zoe, was incredible. She really took the time to listen and helped me find my dress. I loved being able to walk around the store with my bridal party to see which ones I wanted to try on. She made her feel like she got too big for the dress when what was wrong was an easy fix. She kept telling us it was a "size issue" and she needed to find a dress on the floor in a bigger size... just what a teenage girls wants to hear about her dream prom dress. My daughter left the shop in tears. The seamstress at the shop fixed the dress by the next morning, said it was not a huge deal to fix it and it fits great. I spoke with the owner about the issue and she apologized and took responsibility, but it is hard to spend that much money on a dress and have your daughter leave feeling embarrassed and ashamed of her body. No dress is worth that type of experience. It is hard to be a teenage girl and, especially in this business, a manager should understand that and know better. We should have gone elsewhere, and we while we had some great customer service from other staff members (Ava, Mercedes), I would not bring a teenage girl into Bella Sera.

I called the store, but they refused the exchange, so I ended up buying another veil elsewhere. A few weeks later, the manager called to explain she'd been on vacation and that staff weren't aware of the policy. She invited me back, processed the return, and even gifted an accessory. I was genuinely surprised--they went above and beyond, and I truly appreciated the gesture. I'm really happy this was made right. I've been to many bridal shops, and this one--especially the Salem, NH location--was organized, clean, and very reasonably priced. The staff during try-ons were helpful, patient, and not pushy. They rushed the dress to be remade a second time and when it came back it had pockets but it still had stains on it. The poor stylist had to scrub the stains out of the dress herself while we were there...she did let me pick out an accessory free of charge because of all of the issues...little did I know a part of my dress didn't even make it in the bag when they gave it to me so when my veil came in they let me know they have the other part of my dress too. They have nice dresses at all different price ranges so they're a great option but just make sure you have plenty of time before your wedding cuz this was nothing short of a terrible experience after the initial try on appointment.
