Tullio's has quickly become one of my top ten restaurants in Miami. Impeccable service, exceptional food, and the perfect spot to lavish in truly authentic Italian cuisine.

Excellent, true Italian cuisine. I have eaten here twice, both times for their 3 course $35 lunch special in which I have chosen the calamari with tartare sauce, fettuccine bolognese, and tiramisu. Everything has been delicious, including the olive bread. Classy ambiance, I need to return for dinner when I can enjoy some wine. Another Italian restaurant gem in Coral Gables. If you want to be overcharged $25 per entree to see someone dance on a table, go to Brickell or SoBe; if you want great and genuine Italian cuisine, come here.

Excellent food. Excellent service. Excellent ambience. A bit to pricey though if you go outside of lunch specials.

Solid choice. THE PLACE: Located in Coral Gables, plenty of street parking and public garages are available (25mins=$1). Inside the restaurant is of tall ceiling, and minimal but tasteful decor like fresh flowers. It does feel like a pop-up or a restaurant located in a hotel, but it is nice, well lit and with padded seating. Very clean. THE FOOD: The food was good overall, not complaints - some dishes were fantastic, favorites apps being the Burrata con balsamico Stravecchio, though the Polpo Scottato su vellutata di ceci al nero di seppia was a close second - especially coming from someone who doesn't like Octopus. For entrée, I have the Salmone Atlantico su letto di pomodorini, asparagi, cipolline, senape , good overall dish, nothing "wow" - but the buttery texture on the salmon was impressive. Raviolis were good too. But the true gem here is the TIRAMISU! A MUST! not only is it delicious with the best whipped light texture, but its made all table side - almost like a dinner an show. a large portion too - about 2 or 3 can have a hearty portion from 1 order. THE SERVICE: Though it felt uptight, the staff was very kind and professional.

We treated our friend for her birthday here at Tullio, and we all enjoyed our dining experience! We randomly found Tullio and popped in one night, but we didn't have a reservation and unfortunately they were busy & already full. We ended up making a reservation online for the next night, and we're so glad we did! When we returned the next night, the owner kindly greeted us and thanked us for coming back. It was very nice that he remembered us from the previous night. Later on, his father also came over to our table to greet us. Delicious food & top notch service! They're known for fish (fun fact: the owners are from Venice), and of course you can't go wrong with the pasta dishes. My faves were the burrata appetizer and seafood risotto. For dessert, I highly recommend their gelato (the flavor of the night was pistachio & it was made in house), and the tiramisu, which they make right by your table. Will definitely come back next time we're in Coral Gables! Highly recommend it! 10/10 dining experience.

Our first visit here was on a Tuesday night. We arrived a bit more than an hour before their posted closing time, but the place appeared to be empty. After waiting in the main bar/dining area for a few minutes with no one greeting us (though I could hear people talking back in what I believe is the kitchen) we decided to leave. We returned a few nights later after having dinner at nearby Flemings, were seated right away, given menus and we each ordered a glass of wine. After our wine was poured, we were basically forgotten about and we kind of felt like outsiders here, because most everyone at the bar and seated at 2 or 3 of the tables all seemed to know each other: The guy who'd been our server sat down at a table and ate/drank with the woman there. The guys seated at the bar grabbed glasses and served wine to women sitting at the other 2 stools, but there didn't seem to be any staff simply checking on the rest of us. The one employee who did later check in on some dining patrons was walking around with his 1/2 finished glass of wine in hand while doing so. Needless to say, our 2 visits here were both a bit odd. Service, at least for us was badly lacking, and compared to another wine bar and a few restaurants we patronize in this general area, the pours we were given here at Sospiro were a bit stingy. Sad, too, as we really enjoy good wine spots and were hoping we'd found a solid one in Sospiro. Not the case, at least in our experience.

I'd heard about Magie for a while from friends in the natural wine scene in Orlando and had to visit while in town. There is convenient (although somewhat limited) parking just to the side of the building, and entering feels like you just entered your cool friend's house. We almost sat inside on a couple of sofas, but opted to brave the humid Miami heat on the back porch/terrace since they were playing the World Cup game on a projection screen. The back is huge and has several sitting areas, including on an elevated porch with fans, as well as couches and bistro tables set up on the pavers down below. There is foliage everywhere and you feel transported (you'd have no clue this business was on a busy road). Wines on their "by the glass" menu average about $16 each, and most staff pour them behind the bar where they have a gauge to measure out each one. The food prep area behind the bar is quite small (which is why they don't have a large menu), but so is this little gem of a wine spot in general. It's cozy, eclectic and great for a glass of wine and a small snack, or a nightcap after having dinner elsewhere. It's good for singles at the bar, or an intimate spot for couples and smaller groups. Vinoteca seems to have found their niche, and they've filled it quite nicely. That said, I'm not sure the staff, at least the ones working on the nights we've come, have a lot of knowledge about wines or are in the position to talk at length about their various selections.
