I love going to different Eagles and I was super happy to come across an Eagle in Tulsa. Was there for Sunday Funday on a super hot day and it felt good to drink a cold one. I pulled out cash because the Yelp page states it's cash only here and it just gives off cash only vibes but the very nice bartender told me I could use a card. The one thing this Eagle has that other locations don't is a bathroom that you can see outside of but not in while inside and it's actually pretty cool. Is this my favorite location? It's not but I was super stoked that an Eagle existed in the area to add to my list. read more

The hubby and I usually LOATHE bars, but we dropped into The Eagle for one lousy cocktail with friends from Skiatook. (You know, the "drinking friends." We all have them.) The bar itself didn't impress us, nor the drink. The bartenders were super friendly, though. One even told us where to get a (terrific) Thai meal nearby. We had a great evening at the Tulsa Eagle. We were in town from Dallas and looking for a nice gay bar with lots of like-minded men. At first, we tried going to another bar, that seemed not what we wanted. Then we ended up at Tulsa Eagle and had some drinks and enjoyed our time out on the patio. I thought the bartender was nice, and the drinks weren't too pricey, but they weren't real strong either. I definitely will go back the next time I'm in Tulsa. read more

This is a really great bar for the Tulsa gay community. Straight people are welcome too but realize, this is a gay establishment. The bartenders here are the friendliest people in town. They treat each customer like someone special and that alone would make you want to return. They have a good selection of drinks and really make sure you get what you want. The only negative (hence four stars) is that they still allow smoking. I usually go out on the patio just to get away from it. In fact, a few weeks ago, one of our party smoked and he kept going inside the bar to have a cigarette. That was just weird. This is 2014, it's time to put the smokers outside and keep the inside air clean. I won't name names but they have one bartender here who is hotter than a self-cleaning oven. Just sayin'. read more

I went to the Eagle on 10/31/2015. I had weak ass drinks. It was Halloween and they kept it smoldering hot inside, which made wearing any costume very hot. They mood their was bad. Not a party mood at all. I have been to many other bars and much more lively at other places. I stopped going. 7/9/16 The Eagle announces its closing til further notice. That they will have a new staff and renovations. 7/11 the Eagle is open renovation delayed and staff issues resolved. Many believe this was all due to a fight caused and started by the owners. Costing several staff their jobs, and doing damage which they now patched up...The place is BADLY managed by their HOT tempered owners. The customers and staff pay for it. read more

Cams on a Saturday night- first bartender that helped me, 7/20/2019 1am , super handsome beard and a hat. Very friendly- made a delicious drinks for me. I go out side to have half a cigarette. Came back in to sit at the bar,my time on my cellphone reads ( Verizon Network) 1:30am. All of a sudden, it's "last call." Handsome Bartender who first helped me was replaced my guy with beard and low cut v neck shirt. SUPER RUDE. Aloof and couldn't be bothered, sold me my last drink more expensive and was a nasty twat about it. We were then all rushed and just about pushed out. Mind you, the clock on the wall was 15 minutes LATER than the ACTUAL TIME! Boooooooooooooooo, very poor customer service from replacement "closing, rude sassy, not as cute as he though he was bartender." Too bad the handsome guy wearing the hat in the top of the hour wasn't still serving. To be RUSHED and practically pushed out of the bar, 15 minutes be for the actual 2pm, HUGE disappointment- beard with the v neck did all Eagle Bars on his behalf bad and let them all down. One of the friendliest bars in Tulsa...regardless of your sexual orientation. Inexpensive drinks, poured well! The DJ, Mike, insures that there is a bit of something for everyone when he plays music; runs the range from Diva Disco to various progessive music types. The Eagle is one of the most civic minded bars, raising untold amounts of money to assist charoties all over the midwest. What I like about them is they are what they are: no pretense, and very little attitude. It doesn't set out to change the face of nightlife, it simply is a fun, friendly, and comfortable place to hang out, do karaoke, play pool, and meet up with friends. read more

The Tulsa Eagle is a decent gay bar not too far from Downtown Tulsa. The patrons are almost always gay men, aged from their late 30's up. While the staff is friendly, the clientele aren't as welcoming as one would think. If you're unknown to them, they won't make it a point to go out of their way to make you feel as if you're wanted here. The bar itself has a DJ (occasionally), karaoke a couple nights a week, a jukebox and a decent patio. The Tulsa Eagle recently went to a nonsmoking atmosphere, with the exception of on the outdoor patio. The drinks are a bit potent, and priced OK. Their busiest nights are by far Friday and Saturday, and they have events throughout the week that keep the flow of people going. All-in-all, I've seen better - but I've seen worse. I'd recommend this bar if you know someone already to go with, or meet you there. Otherwise, you may find yourself feeling like an outsider. I went here last night to meet up with an old friend. It was a baseball try out night event there. It was pretty cool. It was large, had cheap cheap drinks. The area it's in, looks like you will surely get mugged if you go there, however once you get inside the bar, and are not viewing the shady area it's in, it ends up being pretty cool. However it's not smoke free, there were ashtrays in and out ( they have an enclosed patio area) side of the bar. There was also an odd, free Buffett I would not touch with a ten foot stick ( it was some meet and cheese tray, sitting on top of a random pool table, no thank you) . If this bar, had no smoking, and was in a safe area I would give it 5 stars. As far as the guys, it's what you would expect for Tulsa. Some people say byob ( bring your own beer) in Tulsa, if your a gay man, and don't want to date someone who looks like a cast member from the horror movie " the hills have eyes", you better( byopb) bring in your own pretty boy, cause "green country" is not a pretty country when it comes to 99% of the gays here. read more

Thought this was a traditional Eagle. Smelled of stale booze and smoke. Where were the MEN? So many twinks. So many hags. So disappointed!

The bar staff is nice. Typical gay male crowd that is unfriendly. The music is HORRIBLE! The only one I ever see dancing is the Dj and all he plays sounds like 80's new wave stuff. We're gay,,,, play some popular dance music at least. read more
