Well we tried to go here last night at 7:50pm 8/19/21 because I never had. We walked in and we're told to sit wherever. No one ever waited on us. Period. There were 2 waitresses and a bartender. Nothing...no one ever acknowledged us except for when we walked in. One kept up with one table the other was sweeping like didn't give 2 you know what's. So we got up after sitting for 10 minutes looking at each other. There was a couple walking in as we left and I said good luck getting service! I've lived in the South most of my life, including the Nashville area, and this is the best fried chicken I've ever eaten. Super crispy outside, juicy on the inside. "Mo' Hot" is just spicy enough for me. The sides and desserts are amazing, too. I recommend the collard greens, kale cole slaw, and mac & cheese, as well as any of the pies. Chicken - delicious. Beans - so good. Chicken Cobb Salad - 17 year old loves. Finally got my family wanting to come here and we typically come about 2 times a month. 3 stars for food. Having said that, we tried last night and walked in, hoping to sit on the patio because we are still being cautious about Covid. Two women at the front counter told us the patio was closed. One of the women also made sure to chastise me for parking in a curbside spot. I had absent-mindlessly parked there after a rough day (small, painful medical procedure) and would have been happy to move my car. She was just so rude about it. There were 3 tables with people inside and NO ONE in curbside. Y'all were basically empty on a Thursday night at 6:30. We said we would just go through the drive thru. We actually left and went to eat somewhere else - you lost our business, Tumble. Not going to put up with sassy people. It's just not worth it. There is a black female that works here that is OUTSTANDING in her service and I hope you hold onto her. We tip her well each time. She is wonderful. I'm going to back off coming here for a while to dine. I know things are rough right now but if your service keeps being trash, you're going to have a hard time staying open. And take down those ridiculous signs about not being able to find "willing workers." So sad that you're putting those up to justify why your service is sub-par. read more

I've only ever gotten takeout so I don't know what it's like inside, but when I order online and do curbside pickup the process is quick and easy. The chicken is SO GOOD. Honestly better than any chain-restaurant chicken I've ever had. Get the bone-in chicken picnic special that they have on Mondays and Tuesdays and thank me later. You get 8 pieces of chicken, two sides and mini pie (the only thing negative thing I have to say is that I didn't like the mini apple pie, but the chicken is so good I overlooked that). The food is good, but would consider not eating here again due to the service. My drive through order was incorrect, this happened to me on 2 different occasion. To top it off, I placed an extra side order from JENNA at the bar and she was totally rude. We eat here at least once a month because we love a good hot chicken and Tumble's is always on point! The lil OG is perfect sized but if my husband is hungry he will get the OG and take some of it home for a snack later. Today we left after enjoying our meal and my husband forgot his to go box. We weren't too far so we rushed back to get it. Unfortunately, the table had been bussed and I asked our server if maybe they put it to the side. They didn't but without hesitation she asked if he just wanted another. Their hospitality is unmatched and they go the extra mile to ensure their customers are happy. Just visited Tumble 22 for some hot chicken for the 1st time and won't be going back. Chicken is so so in my opinion but what was worse is that I paid in cash for a $10.77 bill with $20.00 and received only $9.00 back in change. When I said the amount was incorrect I was informed they did NOT return coin change back! Nothing was posted regarding this and I can only assume the establishment is making extra revenue because of this policy. So buyer beware! read more

We tried for the first time last night and it was so delicious! Way above my expectations honestly. We ordered the green eggs and bacon OG sandwich and it was huge! The chicken was so juicy and the bun was sweet. The best chicken sandwich I've ever had! The beans were really tasty and were reminiscent of ranch style beans. Can't wait to come back. Only knock I have is they always seem to forget the ranch dressing for the salad or for something else if you order a salad and something else that comes with dipping sauces when doing any type of to-go order...and also since having their ranch, every bottled ranch dressing tastes slightly like glue. Chicken has been moist most of the time, this rating is for the long waits. I've waited over 40 minutes for drive thru and curbside pickup. Your order will sit on the table inside. I've found that they are either always short staffed or don't motivate their workers to bring the food out fast. The greens were not good enough to order twice. read more

The food is Fantastic. I don't know if I have ever had fried chicken that was so light and not greasy. The sides were also very very good. Unfortunately I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the service and the pick up part of online ordering. It is very unclear online what you should do when you get there. Food was great, the OG chicken sandwich with Dang Hot spice was delicious. I'd prob go up one more level of spice next time but it had a great flavor and was decently spicy. Also got some bites, fries and mac and cheese and everyone else enjoyed theirs too. Many things wrong with this location. First, our waitress (Amber) had attitude and rarely checked up on us. When we were ready to pay for our meal because we were ready to get out of this place, we had enough time to write out bad service with our fries but she never showed up so we got up and had to talk to the manager (Angel) about this which he was not much help when we asked for our receipt. I've been here twice and found the food appetizing. Had the lil chicken sandwich at hot heat & it was delicious. The shoestring fries were pretty good. Second trip I ordered the chicken bites and they were super good & juicy. The collard greens were ok but quite a bit of vinegar in them. Would be better without the vinegar. We came here during pandemic through the drive through because we were wanting to try tumble 22 and happy to get out of the house.Drive through is open and everyone was nice taking orders and helpful .They have options for Hot chicken plates and Chicken sandwiches.Also you can have your choice of heat! We chose the chicken sandwiches and they were great! They are breaded and add coleslaw with a soft bun.We chose the hot heat level with fries.Our food we delivered to our car got and fresh while we waited.Their coleslaw is really good! And offset the spicy hot chicken! They also have main root sodas.Everything was good we will definitely be back and hopefully we will get to eat in someday. read more
