These guys get 5 stars from me because they were the first and only people to figure out what the sound/vibrating my car was making was! No appointments, just walk in. First come first serve. If you come close to opening, you probably won't have to wait too long. Took my car in for alignment which I was quoted $60 for. I arrived right when it opened at 9am on a Saturday, and was only the 2nd or 3rd person there, so they told me it'd be ready in an hour. While they were working on my car, I got a call asking if my car makes this patter sound while I drive. YES. For about a year my car had been making that sound and it's been making me nervous and nobody has been able to tell me what it is. I didn't even take my car in for this noise, but they noticed it and told me what they thought it was: broken wheel bearing. They asked me if I want them to check it out and I said yes and they confirmed it was in fact a damaged wheel bearing. They asked if I wanted to repair it, they quoted me $210 for and $60 for replacing the hub cap. I agreed immediately because that sound had been worrying me for a year. While they were fixing the wheel bearing, they called again and asked me if I wanted to replace my brake pads because they were worn. The fact that they kept calling might seem suspicious to some, like they might have been trying to squeeze more money out of me, but these were legitimate issues I already knew my car was having. I was quoted $145, and I agreed because I had a feeling (for years) that my brake pads were probably worn. Of course all of this ended up taking more than an hour. I was able to pick up my car around closing and when I finally got it back, it felt so upgraded and my driving experience feels new again! Fixed alignment feels amazing, NO MORE sound or vibration while I drive, and no more need to slam on my brakes to slow down . All together the total came out to be $500.16 and I was charged $500. Yes, it was a lot more than I was expecting to spend coming in, but it was well worth it to have all my major driving issues fixed. They also told me about my tire wear and gave me advice on what and when it needs attention. Came back a second time to get a synthetic oil change which cost me $80. Went in the middle of the day on a Saturday for this one, and waited less than an hour. This visit was super simple and straightforward. Might not be the lowest prices you can find for auto repair around, but they are straightforward and know what they're doing. And you can get in an out pretty quick! Of course there's a waiting area, but they're also right next to Costco which is nice for a place to kill some time while you wait. read more

If I could give zero star I would. My mom brought her car in for them to check the break as she feels that it doesn't act normal. Their mechanic checked and did a test drive and says nothing is wrong with the break. A day later my mom step on her break at the red light and the break did not work she had to drive into a fence in the neighborhood to avoid collision with other cars. I brought my car here for alignment and instead of doing it right they made it fail and ask me to pay more than $300 dollars to repair it. Today I went in for a water pump replacement at this establishment. Although the actual replacement was done well and in a timely manner, this auto shop actually damaged my car! When I came to pick up my vehicle, I did a brief walk-around and immediately noticed new damages to the car that were absolutely not there before taking my car to this location. Among some new scratches to the front bumper, there was also a piece of my car protruding out from where it wasn't before. Without even leaving the parking lot, I went inside to speak with the owner about what happened. He was very dismissive and nonchalant about the situation, and told me that the damage was already there prior to working on the car. I felt that he was simply trying to brush me off as a young woman and assumed I wouldn't know the condition of my own vehicle prior to trusting his shop with their services. With how careless and casual his responses were, it makes sense that this place also doesn't know how to properly keep a customer's vehicle safe from neglectful damages. Absolutely terrible service from an unprofessional establishment. I'm always willing to forgive mistakes (especially for minor cosmetic damages), but the owner's mistreatment of this entire situation motivated me to write this review and share my experience. They don't take appointments, but rather serve their clientele on a "first come first serve" basis. Do not get your car service here! This place is scam. I brought my car in for brake service. The owner (I believe) checked and claimed my car needs new discs. Since I don't know anything about car except filling up the gas and drive, I said Ok. He quoted me for $605 for the brake services in all 4 wheels. I agreed and so the jobs were done. I paid $605. After 1 week, my wife starts complaining there are scratching noises coming from the wheels as she start driving in the morning. I checked myself, and yes, the loud scratching sounds as if the brake needs to be replaced, but I just paid $605 7 days ago?!? I brought the car to Tung, he checked and said there is nothing wrong with it?!? Since then, my wife has to deal with the scratching noise for 3 months until we can afford to get it done nicely at a different place. My dad comes here for oil changes. Twice they over filled it, causing oil to leak into the cylinders and the cylinder to misfire requiring us to replace spark plugs and ignition coil (fixed this at home). Not sure if they're doing this on purpose to try to get us to come back to have the car fixed further or due to incompetency. Twice in a row this happened, I'm very upset. I came back here a few times after my brakes were replaced by them because I heard my brakes were squeaking. I explained everything and when I heard the brakes squeak. I told him when I brake LIGHTLY that I would hear the squeak. Apparently, he doesn't understand what LIGHTLY means because when he test drove it, he braked HARD instead of LIGHTLY. I told him he's not braking lightly and he wouldn't be able to hear the squeak but he continued. He had an attitude that he didn't want to help me anymore and told me to just go when I parked in front of the place to drop him off. This mechanic guy also had a tendency of walking away from me when I was talking to him and that pretty much showed me his willingness to help me. Maybe each mechanic does it his way. I'm very familiar with oil change as I occasionally do it myself. One day I took my Toyota suv here for a simple oil change. I noticed the mechanic doesn't use the oil drain plug gasket. It's like a washer that sits between the oil pan and the bolt where the oil drains when the bolt is removed. The oil drain plug gasket is and should be made of copper (best). It does two things. One it prevents you from over tightening the bolt which could damage the threat of the oil pan. As you tighten, it compress the gasket and that's when you know that's it's tight. Two, Once it's compressed and kinda flat, it prevents oil from leaking through the bolt/drain hole. To my surprise the mechanic doesn't use it although I provided one that I bought from Toyota. With time, at each oil change, the mechanic could tighten the bolt a little bit more and in the end damage the threat of the oil pan and require a new oil pan. Maybe another mechanic does replace the gasket. It should be done at each oil change. read more

Brought my car here to have the alignment done. Once it was done, I noticed my car still pulling to the side. WTF!!! I rotated my tires to see if maybe that was the issue, but no!!! Still pulling. I brought it back here and the owner told me to get my tires rotated! DUH!!!! Just because I am a grown woman, does not mean I don't know anything about cars. This place is a complete ripoff, taking advantage of mostly Vietnamese people who doesn't know much about cars. I came here with my Honda Odyssey for the 100k timing belt/water pump service. My check engine light happens to be on and asked if they can diagnose it. Right off the bat, they told me it would cost $50 for the diagnostic and another $850 for the timing belt service. Really? $50 just go check whats wrong with my car and give me a quote?! I immediately left. A day later, Honda Acura Connection and Alum Rock Auto repair both gave me a quote of $750 for the timing belt service and scanned my vehicle for free.
