It seemed like there were some delays coming from the kitchen, because some people seemed determined to make it clear to anyone in their vicinity that they'd been waiting a while for their food. I didn't have to wait long at all though, and if I had, I would've been patient and kind and understanding because I know that cooks and front of house employees have difficult and stressful jobs for which they're nearly always underpaid and they definitely don't need some fucking college kid snapping at them when there's nothing they can do to magically make food appear more quickly! This place is a perfect thai restaurant right by campus! It also has a cheap lunch menu that serves a soup of the day, egg roll, and the entree. The place is much nicer than it's low prices lead on with fantastic service, and it's a great place for an affordable date night. Our server was very kind and attentive. Food was prepared well and served very fast. I had the King Roll which was presented beautifully and tasted even better. One of the best rolls I've had lately, tbh. My boyfriend was very pleased with his Pad Thai. And if you have a partner that is impatient when it comes to waiting to pay, they offer a QR code you can scan and pay with your phone. My boyfriend is oddly excited about this option. I was excited to try this restaurant based off of a recommendation my Uber drive gave me. I was in Gainesville for a short work trip. I stopped in around 3pm on a Thursday before I was heading to the airport. The restaurant was not very busy- probably due to my "in between normal meal times" visit. I ordered the crab rangoon and pad see ew with tofu. The crab rangoon was the bomb! It had a bit of curry spice in it which made it extra delicious and unique. I would definitely order again. It was also fairly priced at $5.95 for 5 rangoons. The pad see ew was just okay and the source of 4 stars instead of 5. The noodles were not very thick and it was less than flavorful. The tofu was pretty tasty and it was presented well. If I lived in Gainesville, I would go back and try a different main dish. Their sushi also looked quite tasty. read more

I came here a few years ago and really enjoyed the food. The curry back then was very flavorful and returned to the establishment many times. However, the green curry today still had the green curry powder when I took three first couple bites. I usually don't send the food back to the kitchen but after I asked the kitchen to remake it, I could no longer taste the green curry but only saltiness. Other than that, the server was very welcoming and the appetizers were great. I'm sure the other dishes are great, but I simply wouldn't recommend the green curry for others. read more

I've tried several Gainesville restaurant's sushi and I can honestly say that this was the best thus far! Friends and I were returning from an Art Expo and we wanted to try something new - none of us had ever tried Thai before so we were looking forward to it. First thing I noticed when we walked in was the great atmosphere; the food smelled good and the area was definitely welcoming. Fortunately, we didn't wait long for the kind hostess to take us to our table. I loved that there was a wide variety of entrees and appetizers to choose from; everything seemed delicious. It did not take too long for our orders to arrive at our table; we waited only about 10-15 minutes. The servers were very considerate of our accommodations when taking our orders, and I appreciate that very much. Personally, I ordered the Spicy Basil Fried Rice, and it was one of the best dishes I've had at an Asian Restaurant. The vegetables and the spicyness complemented the rice and beef very well and combined for a delicious flavour. I will definitely be returning in the future. If anyone in the area or attends university here is looking to try something new or dine at an Asian restaurant, this is definitely the place to start. It won't disappoint! read more
