I work from home, so I need my multi-function printer for printing, scanning, and copying pretty regularly. I first tried calling Canon, but my printer was just months out of warranty so Canon didn't offer any IT support or repair services, but directed me to their website for tutorials. I read a bunch of tutorials on the Canon website and also googled the problem and watched several YouTube videos. I tried cleaning the cartridge glider and following other online suggestions. Nothing worked. I was beginning to fear I'd have to shell out $$$ for a brand new printer after I had just bought this one last year. Finally, I yelped a bunch of printer/computer repair services in my area. Nick was the among the first to get back to me and seemed confident he could repair my printer. The others I reached out to either said they do not service Canons, said they didn't think they could fix the printer, or just didn't get back to me at all. Nick was responsive to all my questions and gave me a fair rate, an estimate of the time required, and assurance that I would not be charged if he couldn't solve the problem. He was quick and easy to coordinate with for safe and easy drop-off and pick-up of my printer, as well as convenient payment via Venmo. He fixed my printer in the same day, in less than 2 hours, ran some tests, and gave me some maintenance suggestions on top of that. Needless to say, I was impressed and grateful. Stellar service! Responsive, fair, professional, friendly, quick, and effective. A real tech whiz. I'll be coming back with any future IT/computer/peripheral repair needs!

Lucky for me, Google brought Steve's company up and because he had such a good rating, I gave him a call. Steve thought the new motherboard would take a week to order/arrive but it was here in 4 days & he came over the day he got it and got my PC back up and running! His labor was $180 (2 hours/2 trips to my house) & the motherboard was $100. That was a small price to pay for him to be able to save all the work, photos, music, movies I had on my hard drive! If you ever think your computer has burned out & died, call Steve before buying a new one and starting everything (re-installing everything & re-doing tons of work) over.

I tried to contact "Radiant Tech Repair," but their phone has been out of service. I tried to go to their web site, but the web site link was broken. Yelp's business information on Radiant was a broken URL as well. I'm concerned for the length of time that has passed with no update or resolution. I went to Radiant Tech Repair on 01/22/2023 to pick up my laptop if not done. I did picked up my laptop computer without resolution. Given enough time I'm confident that their skills are acceptable, but their communication with customers could be improved upon.

The official Apple sanctioned repair places would have also taken at least a week to set up an appointment to schedule the upgrade and for some reason said it would take 3 or 4 days to do the upgrade! What?! So The Macintosh Guys also saved me at least a week, plus the trip to the appointment to schedule the upgrade. I called to inquire the rates at The Macintosh Guys yesterday afternoon and here I am with a very snappy iMac less than 24hrs later! I dropped it off at 10 and it was ready before noon! I also had them clone the contents of my old hard drive and it turned on, booted up in 1/10th the time it usually does, and everything is like I left it! Worth it to not have the headache of transferring myself. Really glad I opted to have them do it. And whoa is this thing snappy now!
