While the lettuce wasn't the freshest, the shrimp were quite large. I asked for the salad dressing on the side, and they were generous with the amount provided. The service was fine; the staff didn't engage much but were polite. They do not have a private seating area. Highway robbery! I took my son for lunch at the freehold raceway mall after we went for pictures with the Easter Bunny. He wanted a salad so we went to Turkey & Salad. We both built a salad which consist of the basics you put in a salad. Cucumbers, tomatoes, olives and dressing. I added egg which I agree would be extra charge totally ok with a $1 up charge. I get to register with 2 small salads, a snapple and a bottle of water. First the cashier rang me up and it was $21, then it went to $27 which was fine. The degenerate owner came over and charged me an extra $20 for what? S boiled egg? GTFOH hahaha. Then when I said I will ok i will just get the kid his salad and drink. I dropped by here because I forgot my diabetic dogs lunch at home - chick peas. Since diabetic dogs eat the same thing daily to maintain healthy blood sugars I was so relieved to see chick peas in their salad bar. However, the person working refused to sell me them without me buying a $16.99 salad. I explained I'm pregnant and can't eat salads from a salad bar right now but I'm willing to pay for an addition/chips/sides/whatever. He said he cannot and it's the managers rules. Used to be our go to whenever we went to the mall for over 10 years. Was slightly expensive but food fresh and you were in the mall. BUT now the sandwiches are over expensive they have gone up over 50% in the past 5 years. They put no meat on it now and is mostly bread.
