    Teriyaki turkey bento

Food is always good on a cold day - there's nothing like feeling the warmth and watching the steam rise off of it! The place is really accessible from my hotel. The staff, which I believe to be a family business, are always pleasant and appreciate your business.

Food is amazing and everything taste fresh! Service was great! If you're in the area I definitely recommend stopping for a quick lunch!

So good! I had to order the chicken teriyaki bento again. At this point, I am a regular for pick up orders. I saw someone order a curry dish that looks similar to what my mom made for me growing up. I hope to try that sometime in the future.

Cute little quick grab and go or small dine in area tucked under a parking garage. Excellent place for a quick and hot lunch. Many options (lots of Turkey), and Korean food too. Got a sandwich and soup today as I'm on jury duty and it really hit the spot. Homemade everything and maybe the best Turkey this side of Hubers, speaking of Hubers, are they still a thing, I hope so. Service is so nice and fast, they are prepared for the downtown lunch rush. Kinda reminds me of the Sunshine cafe, old Portland people? Am I right?

Small family, run sandwich, shop, and diner That serves breakfast. Clean nice, but the big feature is hidden behind- a kitchen that really crafts each dish carefully and with pride. I just wanted a breakfast sandwich and it was wonderful. A flaky croissant perfectly toasted with a fresh cooked egg and cheese. I added sausage, but that wasn't necessary.

Went with a simple turkey sando. Everything was delicious. Simple and to the point. Old school sandwich spot with that vintage flair. Not many places exist like this in Portland. Make sure you stop by and enjoy one of those delicious sandwiches.

My family and I visited from out of state and this place was the closest to our hotel. We got the breakfast croissant and added bacon or sausage and they were delicious. The prices are better than anything else around. There's a lot of regulars and the workers knows their orders by heart. And I see that people stop by before work, or court etc. The workers are so nice and don't make you feel rushed at all. I recommend 100%.

I was delighted to find this cute spot while visiting Portland for a few days. The food is high quality at reasonable prices and the friendly owners made the experience that much more enjoyable. I had the pleasure of trying the Turkey Plate and the Turkey Plus Sandwich. Even made it a point to return for sandwiches to take on the road.

Located at 68th and Glisan, the restaurant has been introduced to the community slowly over the last few months. The owners are currently doing catering and producing prepackaged deli style food for sale elsewhere, but they've also opened their doors to the public on the weekends. Apparently, the intention is to open for extended hours in early November when they'll operate from Wednesday through Sunday. I've only sampled Tusi's Deli Creation dishes sold for prepackaged takeout, but the chicken half moon pie and round pancakes (Panikeke) are so fresh and packed with flavor, I can't wait to visit this weekend to try more! I'll amend my review when I do. In the meantime, the deli is building quite a social media following where they show off some of their dishes, and make announcements about hours, etc. I highly suggest you check them out before they get so popular they begin selling out of inventory!

Please look for the sign. I had to take a turn around the block to realize it was there. (It was rainy and dark out). The owners are lovely people super attentive and welcoming. I called ahead to make sure this wasn't a fluke and the guy answered and reassured me they did indeed have COOKED Samoan food! I got fish, mamoe, muli pipi, with rice and taro. Let me tell you, I don't even think I chewed for the most part. HAHAHA. The food was warm, delicious ,and a comforting in the way that only food from "home" can comfort you. They for sure have blessed hands in the kitchen. I didn't try any of the baked goods or the deserts. But they're an option that I am fully going to take advantage of next time! The owners mentioned they were robbed and almost gave up! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE COME OUT AND SHOW SUPPORT FOR THEM! They truly deserve your patronage! Thank you again for the AMAZING meal.

The majority of the sandwiches contain meat, so I would not recommend this for vegans or pescatarians. Jim was delicious and I consumed both halves of Jim flawlessly. Either hunger overruled me, or the sandwich was that satisfying. I do recommend the shop, but with limited options for non-meat eaters, I truthfully would rate Lottie and Zulas, 4.5. Because the food was so damn good. Look - I'm going to start off by saying I grew up practically on The Hill. Out here, you'll have to Google it (make sure to add 'RI' to the search or you'll get some political BS), but back east, "alls you's have ta say" was those two words and anyone would know you knew your Italian, food and otherwise. There isn't anything on this coast that vaguely compares to The Hill's food, but walking into and biting out of Geraldi's was having a little piece of home. There's this little shop in the old town where the owner knew your voice when you called to order... you'd walk in, and you heard "hey cousin!" whether you were or not, and that's the vibe you get from Geraldi's. The food is much the same - you get something that looks like Nonna was at the range all day with her sauce (it's not gravy - no meat) and you came home looking like you haven't eaten in weeks: "I'm gonna fatten you up before you leave" and you walked out the door with a sub (sandwich, that is - not a submarine) that weighed the same as a newborn. We got three of those babies: a Chicago Beef (seal of approval from the orderer - only 'complaint' was that they had to eat it all in one day because the bread was quote too soggy to make it to lunch the next day - travesty), an Italian sausage (just as delicious when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and a Chicken Parmeroni (I thought somehow even better when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and I could have absolutely gone back the next day if it weren't for A. the leftovers 2/3 of us had and B. the meal planning we'd done for the week. I also grabbed a side of giardiniera because I will get it anytime I see it available and I inhaled it - I need to know if I can by it by the vat instead of the side cups because it too was similar to what I can find at home (about practically nowhere out here) and amazing!! I'm still upset I didn't take pictures though!

For this review, though, we'll stick to the meat (& bread, cheese, veggies and condiments) of the matter. In short: yes. Very much yes! My wife ordered the Aunt Tillie's Club, which she saw online and was the impetus for our visit, whereas I waffled between the tuna melt and the Aunt Tillie's Special (basically a grinder), eventually settling on the latter. Both of us were in heaven: sizeable portions, fresh bread, just enough condiments, and plenty of toppings to go around! My wife thought she was going to have to take a least half of it home, then changed her mind and powered through, leaving nothing behind! We dined just outside the restaurant proper, on one of the patio tables in the "mall", but there is plenty of seating inside (just not enough to accommodate the rush, it seems), plus a quaint little pub at the back that is easy to miss, but adds another layer to an already charming sandwich shop. We were both so impressed by the entire experience, that we are guaranteed to return, likely sooner than later! Very recommended!
