***** Axel! ***** Shout out to Axel the bartender. Priority Pass Taken! But watch for the busy times! Waits can be long. Because... Best Old Fashioned & Manhattans. Axel uses Coupé glasses for the Manhattans!!! And he muddles the oranges & cherry. Are you kidding me? Oh no, this is the real deal. Food, outstanding. Service, fantastic. Busy as crap. Don't care, go around to the back bar, past the restrooms. Trust me. Told a fellow traveler to try the Old Fashioned, he gave me a pat on the back for the advice. YOU'RE A POSER IF YOU DON'T TIP AXEL!!!
I would say this is the nicest lounge at this airport currently to include the Amex Centurion lounge. The food is always amazing and service is efficient. Everything is super clean. For lunch they have kabob, falafel, and hummus like items. For breakfast more eggs like Turkish style eggs, boiled eggs and oatmeal. ProTip go to the bar area for some real Turkish coffee.
Checked out the Turkish Airlines lounge instead of the Air France lounge this time during my most recent flight through Dulles Airport. Both have nice lounge areas however the food at Turkish was wayyy better. I arrived at the lounge around 3 pm on a Monday and the line to get in was out the door. Checking in was super easy though and only took about 2 minutes. Upon entering I quickly grabbed a plate filled with rice, chicken, hummus, pita and a small salad. They had an assortment of other Turkish foods that included other veggies, dips and meats. Everything looked fresh and they were constantly replacing empty dishes. The lounge had a variety of tables, small couches, a long table best for working at and then towards the back bar there was even more seating. This lounge was packed and noisy. Probably the busiest lounge I've been to in a while. Luckily I was able to snag a seat with a stranger because almost every single seat was taken. The bartender was quick and efficient, the prosecco was fine. I didn't get to use the bathroom while here because the line was so long. The WiFi was strong. Definitely recommend checking out during your next flight through Dulles if you want a decent bite to eat. Hopefully it's not always super busy and noisy.
Overall: C // 3 stars Decent lounge to access regularly through priority pass, but not a good lounge if accessed via an actual Business Class flight. I found the food options to be unappetizing (breakfast) -- including the pastries to be dry. The lounge was relatively busy, though they had a nice bar. I finally had enough time to visit the Turkish Airlines Lounge in IAD. It was located nearby Gate 43 and opened at 7:15AM. Upon entering, the rep scanned my boarding pass and my *G level was recognized without needing to showing my UA card. Very friendly staff and efficient. As one of the first inside, breakfast was all setup with a mixture of western and Turkish options. Their food was fresh, nicely presented and tasty. The setting was nice with window views of the main terminal and tower. Good spacing between tables and chairs. It was a great place to spend time waiting for my connecting flight. A definite reason to come back on my next trip through IAD.
The Turkish Airlines Lounge is among one of my favorite lounges in IAD. They offer a variety of food, drinks and other beverages you can even take to go if you'd like, whether it be coffee, tea, chai, or a version of soda. Some other lounges just have fountain types, or glass cups with no to go cups. They offer some pretty good breakfast and lunch options pictured with WiFi available. There are even showers available for those that may have a long layover, or what not. The main thing I dislike is the bathroom situation. They're neutral bathrooms, so you have to generally wait. I know it sounds unfair, however, when males use the restroom, it's more often than not, a quick in and out, whereas females usually take longer. Luckily, there are bathrooms and water fountains right outside of the lounge. So if the lines are long inside the lounge which is usually the case, just pop out of the lounge real quick and go back in to use the larger bathrooms that are still fairly clean. The seating arrangement is decent with outlets accessible in most seating areas.
One of the best lounges I've been to regarding food! Stopped by after a trip in DC and was pleasantly surprised how stocked the food was at Turkish. Heaps of delicious salads, spreads and chicken were on hand here and I loaded myself up on fresh Turkish classics. The tea and Turkish coffee was top notch as well. Def a lounge I will seek out in the future especially after seeing the starkness of a KLM lounge in Chicago
Can I cal this my favorite lounge in IAD if I haven't friend another? Turkish lounge is spacious, delicious, and modern. It can get pretty packed at times, but just find a corner if you can. It's a bit of a U shape, with a bar and more seating on the other side and an upstairs (sometimes it's closed). The food is DELICIOUS. when I've visited it's mostly been Mediterranean food with a few randoms like Mac & cheese. I enjoy the drinks, alcoholic & not as well. Even for water, you have a choice of still, sparkling, or infused. Perfect to fill up that water bottle before flying out.
This is hands-down my favorite lounge at IAD. Fantastic Mediterranean food, great selection of beverages, including Turkish tea, coffee, kombucha, and various alcohols. It is expectedly crowded as are most domestic lounges these days, but the staff remain polite and welcoming, even to those with priority pass who are often shunned at other lounges. There is a QR code waitlist for when the lounges are busier than usual. I was eighth on the list and waited less than 15 minutes they asked me to anticipate. Overall, still a great experience despite the challenge of crowding. I still enjoy coming here even when it's far away from my gate.
IMO the best priority pass lounge at IAD and one of the better priority pass lounges in general, but FYI a lot of other people also know this so this place can get super busy at peak times. The seating is plentiful here, seats a comfy. The food options here are elite. the entrees and sides are fresh and delicious. The drinks options are great from the soda to the bar what you'd expect, but my favorite is that they have Turkish hot tea available which is sooo comforting and good. The bathrooms are big and clean. Nice views in the lounge and friendly service from everyone here.
The food was good, but there was an issue that wasn't really the restaurant's fault. The bathroom door is broken, so it still shows as "vacant" even when someone's inside. Because of that, some impatient person barged in while I was using it. People really need to learn to wait their turn and think about others instead of just themselves. This guy didn't even feel bad and just look at me in the eye and have no remorse for yourself
Flying to Venice on Lufthansa in business class. Love that European airlines allow bidding for upgrades. Anyway with our upgrade came a lounge visit but Lufthansa's lounge was closed for refurbishment. We were given access to any Star Alliance lounge and after research we chose Turkish Airlines. The staff is super efficient and friendly. The lounge gets really crowded because it's small but they cleared dishes quickly and it seemed to help with turning the tables. The food was amazing! Best airport lounge food I've had. The bar is tucked away in the back separate from the food and dining area. We sat next to two nice gentlemen who were professors going to Frankfurt to teach international business for a week. I love how airports make people More Sociable. read more
The drinks in this lounge were delicious they had Prosecco on tap and I also had a strawberry drink that was divine. Unfortunately I had minimal time to experience as the lounge was full. They kept allowing Turkish airlines passengers in the lounge and put passport members were put on a hold . We waited 45 min before being allowed in. I had to go up and ask because they said the lounge was full but kept letting other members in. The people at the front desk were not very pleasant or accommodating. The lounge was packed very tight. It was noisy and loud. It's a big lounge but the bathroom lines were incredibly long. Food was mediocre - on the upside the desserts were pretty tasty. read more
Solid lounge and it was great to wait there instead of the boarding area. Service is great. The lounge is nice, clean, modern but bit small. Drinks is standard but the food is really great, at least for me. A lounge that i would return to. read more

This lounge was exactly what me, my partner and sister needed. We just had our initial flight delayed by an entire day. Upon entering, the lounge was quite busy, but I still had a chance to take a look at all the amenities. We found a spot in the back right in front of the bar. There's an open bar and also a fridge of non-alcoholic drinks you can get. For food, it was a buffet style. They had chicken, mac and cheese, falafel, rice and garlic naan. They even had some cake deserts next to the coffee machine. I ate a lot of the chicken and rice. The food here was very warm and tasty. The wifi was a bit slow but it may be due to the amount of people in the lounge. There's also only 2 washrooms so sometimes the lines can get a bit long. There were showers available but I didn't end up using them. Overall pretty nice lounge! read more
I'm impressed with this lounge considering you can access with priority pass. The food is spectacular. You can have a good meal here. I loved the Turkish spreads, the Turkish coffee you can order at the bar, kombucha and cold brew on tap, etc. There's a ton of seating here but most people are aggregated in the dining room since that's where the food is. There is an upstairs area with refreshments, and a bar area. Bartender didn't care about her job but she was fast and efficient so that made up for it. Every other service staff though was friendly and nice. They have a shower and you can ask the front desk for a towel. No reservations needed for the shower. I highly recommend this lounge. I was debating between this lounge or trying out the Chase Sapphire lounge using the one time per year Amex allowance. Let's just say I did not regret coming here! read more
This was hyped up to be the best lounge in IAD, and possibly in the Priority pass network, and also maybe even in the US. I would be hard-pressed to agree with that, but my opinion may or may not be valid, as I have probably only visited a dozen or so lounges in the past year. The food was fantastic. The decor was a bit tired. The space was crowded. The bartender seemed aloof, if not uninterested when I approached. I get it- working in this industry, I realize holiday travelers can induce stress and annoyance, so I let her be and just used the self- serve soft drink and coffee options. Also, I thought there was supposed to be baklava and Turkish delight! Where were those??? Would I return? Sure. That hummus and the beet dip and the cucumber yogurt stuff were all on-point. It's not a bad spot to kill a couple hours. read more
My first experience at this Lounge, quite nice. I enjoyed the breakfast: oatmeal with fresh blueberries, dried cranberries, thick yogurt- - - yum. The kombucha dispenser was a surprise. Ok, this lounge is a little small compared with other international airports, but quite nice. It even has a shower. The two nice bathrooms are quite nice, but not enough for the clientele. The bar area was great. read more

Came here since I was so early for my flight. I had heard that this is a good lounge and since it was one of three in this wing on Priority Pass, I thought I'd try it. At check-in she told me Priority Pass didn't work at that time but since I had Gold status, I was allowed in. It was a bit crowded. It felt warm but I was dressed for the airplane and thee upcoming San Francisco weather. I wasn't hungry but the Brie cheese looked good and the brownies were calling my name. Both were delicious. The bar was around the back. Jihey was a very personable bartender. There were two TVs over the bar but one didn't work. Will stop here again. read more
Great lounge but can get very crowded on peak times. Came around 5pm and it was about a 30min wait. You need to put your name on the waitlist and they'll send you a text when you're ready to check in Overall size of the lounge is on the smaller side. Took us awhile given that we already waited to find an open seat/table. Food and drink selection was excellent tho. Highly impressed by their bar menu with great cocktail selections. Overall it's main downfall is their wait but lounge was nice read more
One of the best and most reliable, consistent lounges one will encounter at an airport. The customer service; ambiance and different seating options; amount of space between seats; lack of restrictions; and wide and varied menu with lots of healthy as well as consistently tasty options, make for a reliably above-grade product that one can count on whenever traveling out of or between IAD. Very close to a 5-stars designation, respective other lounges. However, it is a bit dated in certain respects. read more

Their food is delicious! I came here using priority pass after being turned away from another lounge nearby. I'm so glad I ended up here! There was a great variety, and some of the best lounge food I've had yet. Not as fancy as some other lounges I've been to, but the food makes up for it. The food was fresh and also came out very quickly. Service was also efficient. I'm impressed and would come here again. read more
Service! FOOD ! DRINKS ! Everything was 5 stars!! The receptionist who welcomed me was super nice and that was just the beginning! Everyone else was just as nice and more! The food was very very delicious that I had to tell them to Thank the chef for me! Delicious and yummy Kafta or Kofte ( meatballs) in tomato sauce with potatoes! Yummy boneless dark meat chicken in tomato sauce with carrots and peas !! You have all what you need , automatic espresso drinks machine, Turkish coffee , wine , beer, drinks! Sparkling water, kombucha , juice and ice coffee ! Need something? You will find it! They were also so friendly when I went another time at the morning and made sure I can watch the World Cup event on TV! Wonderful people! Clean restrooms and really high level service! If you're at IAD don't waste your time or money and go there! Even if you're at a different gate! This was located on 43 B I used my Priority pass to get in , reach out to me if you need to know how can you get that sweet card! ;) Try the Turkish airline lounge at IAD and don't forget to ... pray for me ;) lol read more
This is one of my favorite priority lounge at IAD. The space is not very spacious , but they always offer a good quality, food and bar with good selections of wine, champagne, and liquor. on top of this, the services here are always very friendly. The lines to get in can be long , but most of the time the wait to get in it's very reasonable. Like always if you plan to use lunch, you should always get to the airport hours before your boarding time. read more
The lounge is right past B43. I got in via priority pass at 3p on a Wednesday. There's a good number of people in here but it's far from full. There's coffee, tea, a bar, and a good selection of food. I had recently eaten at another lounge so I kept it light with some pita bread, chicken, and an eggenberg beer. The service is great! Bar is quick, they kept it clean and restocked, and check in took 30 seconds. The upstairs section was closed off but it's on my list to check out next time I make a trip in the lounge. Overall, definitely worth checking out. read more
Of all the lounges, this one is the best. They have hot food instead of some cold sandwiches and more nourishing better tasting food. Alcoholic drinks are not the best idea before flight, but should you wish, they also have some. Two floors, but quite packed. Still I liked this lounge a lot. read more
Great airport lounge in Dulles airport. If you have a Priority Pass, you should be able to get in though I've read sometimes you can't get in due to capacity or they limit amount of PP guests. Food is plentiful and delicious if you like Mediterranean food. I really enjoyed the hummus, meatballs and chicken dish. They have a fully stocked bar and I really liked their beers on draft. Service was very friendly. read more
One of my favorite lounges at IAD. The food is always amazing. They have dessert options and the food includes hummus, pita, chicken and other meats and dips. They have a range of cocktails, teas, coffee and more. The bathrooms are very nice and they have showers, though the showers were closed when we were there. There is seating in the front by the food with tables, and if you walk towards the back there is booth seating with tables and larger chairs. There are not as many plugs, so you'll have to look around until you find one. read more
Small, quiet lounge located near Gate B43 at Dulles Airport. If you have a Priority Pass membership, you'll enter for free along with your same day departure boarding pass. So far, this is my favorite Priority Pass lounge! Because I love the food! Lamb meatballs and baklava for the win!! We came here the last time we visited DC in 2019, and I'm glad to see this lounge is still functioning just as I remember. There is a self-serve buffet featuring lamb meatballs, chicken, rice, hummus, pita, etc. There is also a self-serve soft drink and dessert bar featuring Turkish tea and baklava!! My faves!! Towards the back, there are 2 private restrooms and a small bar served by a single bartender with beer, wine, and cocktails as well as Turkish coffee. Service is wonderful here, and when my wife asked about gluten-free options due to her celiac disease, the chef came out of the kitchen to discuss options. The chef even offered to make some grilled chicken that would be gluten-free since none of the meats on the buffet were! I don't come to DC often, but when I do, I love flying out of Dulles just so I can visit this particular lounge! Not all Turkish Airlines lounges are the same though!! It's only this location, in my experience, that's specifically nice!! read more
Stopped by the Turkish Airlines Lounge at IAD before my Alaska Airlines flight to the west coast. I'm usually an Admiral's Club person for domestic travel, but keep a Priority Pass membership for airports without one (IAD for instance). I was pleased to be admitted as soon as I arrived around 8:30am. The lounge was starting to fill up, but it was still a way off from reaching capacity. I suspect if I arrived later in the day, I might have had to wait a bit before being admitted through Priority Pass. Lovely breakfast spread that included an egg dish, a fava bean dish, plenty of bread and pastries, in addition to cereals and oatmeal. I was also impressed at the coffee options available, which included a full drip and espresso bar. The bar itself was spacious and bright, plenty of space for a solo traveler to sit up with their laptop and drink. I was only in for about an hour and wanted to grab a pre-flight cocktail. I forget the brand of vodka in my screwdriver, but I do recall the complementary brand being slightly higher end than the Svedka you can expect from an AA Admiral's Club. Restroom facilities seemed to get quickly crowded, and line management wasn't really happening. So it was a bit awkward/dicey at times to bring food and coffee back to the bar area while dodging folks in line for the restroom. Other than that, a great lounge! read more
Smallish but nice lounge. Accessible to anyone with priority pass, regardless of which airline they're taking- but departures only. They served a bunch of Mediterranean foods and I feasted on the baklava. I also liked their selection of teas, different from a lot of the other American lounges I've been in. The location is reasonable for anyone in concourse/gates B, but would be a bit far for anyone going to another gate. Their bathrooms are sizeable. I didn't see for myself but there were signs for showers available. I also didn't take advantage of the bar while I was there. Note: nothing other than some canned drinks are to-go-able, and not all seats have good outlets. The first table I sat at, the outlet was on the ground and looked so dirty I opted to move instead. On the nicer side, there is a printer, and I did watch a passenger print some documents! read more
