This lounge is conveniently located right when you get off the tram into Terminal A. There's a small buffet area and bar for you to grab your own items, but there's also a QR code on each table where you can order à la carte. The menu is similar to a Chase Sapphire Lounge menu with their signature burger, Caesar salad, and cocktails. It's a bit more limited, but still many good options. The service was great and we got our food quickly.
Arrived and got in line before they opened, but it was worth the wait! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of comfy seats or private tables,[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] food was good (drinks were even better!), and service was speedy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I wish they had more showers available, but the restrooms were clean and the amenities were great![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would definitely recommend this lounge to weary travelers!!
Tbh its a pretty nice lounge. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The food options are a bit limited as compared to international lounges but the ambiance is better.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a family room which was quite advantageous to our family of five. The kiddos could play by themselves in the family room and we could enjoy some downtime without worrying about taking care of the kids.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were toys and soft blocks to keep kids occupied and a menu for us to peruse and order coffee and food off from.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We helped ourselves to the menu burger which my hubs liked and i really liked the cappuccino. The lounge buffet was ok but the food was not as appetizing as compared to the menu food. I really liked the mini lemon bites and brownies though. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is a bar, booths, tables so plenty of seating downstairs and stairways leading upstairs which i did not see.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I did take 2 chocolate chip cookies. It's kind of my new routine. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I liked all the different books and the bathrooms were clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food and drinks did take a while and I couldn't wait any longer for the last drink and had to leave to go board my flight.
After experiencing the chase sapphire lounge in Boston, I have been itching to visit another one. Unfortunately, this was did not compare. It is inferior in every way. It is smaller, has less food options, only one shower, only 4 bathroom stalls, and a long wait if you happen upon it during a busy time. Their signature burger was not good here - dry, overcooked, no flavor. When I had it in Boston, it was pretty good, so super disappointing. The service was the same, attentive and professional. Having said all this, it is still much better than most airport lounges in the United States. The salmon and rice they served on the buffet line was good, so I filled up in that. The location is fairly convenient - in A. You can walk from B. It's next to where you'd enter from the airport tram (if coming from C) and when you get off the escalator from the airport shuttle (if coming from D).
Sapphire reserve card holders have taken this place over! Seriously, this is now a combined Etihad and the Sapphire Reserve lounge. The service is great and the food is typical of the Sapphire Reserve system. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a little smaller than some of the other Sapphire lounges I've visited, but it still fills the bill and meets the need.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'm hoping that Chase builds a dedicated Sapphire reserve lounge in perhaps a larger space in the future.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Then, Etihad Airlines can have this space all to themselves once again.
I was really looking forward to checking out this lounge, my first chance to actually use my Reserve card somewhere that might stack up to a Centurion (since IAD doesn't have one). [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a good-sized space with plenty of seating, and since I arrived late at night, it wasn't crowded.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I won't go into detail about the other amenities you can read about, I needed dinner and a drink, which was the focus of my visit. The buffet was solid, the chicken biryani and baba ghanoush were both pretty good. The made-to-order menu was more hit or miss. I tried the burger (which probably needed cheese) and the noodles, which had good flavor but too many noodles and not enough sauce or vegetables. I'd love to see more options. The real highlight was the bar. My bartender was outstanding and mixed up three great cocktails for me. My rye old fashioned had a choice of four woods for smoking (should you choose to do so) and I went with applewood. The paper plane was also made really well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]For a late-night and very free visit, it was exactly what I needed: good food, excellent drinks, and a great bar seat to kill about two hours before my flight.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The most amazing thing is that it has made-to-order food. That's quite impressive given that it has an abundance of vegetarian to meat options and usually is able to tailor to different cuisines. I also appreciate the attention to detail when it comes to the cocktails. The bartender can put together something that is off the menu with his/her creativity. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only downside? This lounge is modern, clean, and beautiful with 2 levels for seating. You can grab some lighter meals/fruit/treats at the buffet counter, or enjoy made-to-order options using the QR code at each table. Food was decent and signature drinks were creative with great flavors. Staff was friendly, attentive, and prompt. It was, overall, a relaxing and enjoyable experience for my family.
We took the 6 AM shuttle to Dulles, and this was one of the only lounges open. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The scan in process was smooth, and the lounge itself is two levels, with modern lighting and smooth curves.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food options are ordered either through the QR code on the table, or available on the buffet table. Drinks are either at the bar, or through the QR code. A selection of cocktails, beers, and wines is available. The service was quick, with our orders brought out in an impressive time, and the plates were cleared shortly after we finished eating. A welcome addition to Dulles, especially when other lounges start turning priority club members away.

It's clean and trendy with similar aesthetics to other Chase lounges I've visited.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There is both a buffet section and menu with made to order food and cocktails. Service was very prompt and friendly. Empty dishes were immediately cleared. I waited only up to 5 minutes for my made to order tomato-based pasta dish. When I visited, the buffet had salad, chicken biryani, basmati rice with vegetables, bread with baba ganoush, and small lemon and brownie cubes. There's also cold brew, 'seasonal' water, and 'spa' water on tap. There's a small fridge with pop cans and tea bags with honey sticks. Had a good time, would defs be back next time I'm here!

I had a three hour layover, so I decided to stop by the lounge for a bite to eat and a drink. I sat at the bar and enjoyed a glass of champagne along with the burger, which hit the spot. Many people were ordering the Aperol Spritz drink special, so it seemed to be a crowd favorite. Overall, I enjoyed both my meal and the service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The lounge was definitely packed for a Thursday afternoon, although the many weather related flight delays likely contributed to the crowds.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was able to find a seat at the bar within a few minutes of arriving, but I noticed several people waiting around for a while hoping to find an open seat. Despite it being busy, it was a nice way to spend a long layover. read more

Now branded as the Chase Sapphire reserve lounge, I was impressed by the food and drinks here! Not only do they have really good buffet option, you can also scan a QR code and order à la carte items off their menu, which I really appreciated. I also like how much flexibility you have when you're ordering on the QR code. When we arrived, the lounge was at capacity and so we were placed on a short waitlist and we were off within 10 minutes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Because of its capacity, they do direct you where you should sit, which was OK since I was traveling with just my parents.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The lounge is split into two floors with really good ambience though like mentioned earlier they do try to fit as many guests as possible so we can feel a bit crowded![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] read more
Very rarely do you think you should be reviewing airport lounges. But there are some that stand out and Etihad is that ONE. Whether or not you have a membership, they greet you warmly and explain what the cost is and the membership benefits are. Once you check in, they ask if you've been in the lounge before and explain the process of ordering amenities, etc. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The design of the lounge itself is breathtaking with clear views of the air field and two levels to choose seating from.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When you make your way to the bar you're warmly greeted by the amazing trio Angie, Erica, and Freedom. Hard-working lovely ladies that really make the experience 10x better. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The lounge is very clean and the food bar has delicious meals that are fresh and refreshing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall a great experience before your next flight. They were able to seat us really quickly, and we ended up staying for a few hours. This was a great environment to finish up the work day, and also to relax after the workday. The food and drinks always came so quickly. The La Puerta drink was a top 5 lifetime cocktail for me. read more
Best lounge at Dulles/ IAD by far. The lounge is part of the priority pass and the chase sapphire reserve lounges. The staff here are so attentive, welcoming, and friendly. The food and drinks options at top tier for a lounge. Fresh food, made to order, and an extensive drinks list. They have a menu and ordering via app and a walk up buffet. The seating the plentiful with 2 levels. Comfy seats and plenty of tables/work space for a laptop. Nice views of the the airport. Would definitely be back the next time a have a flight out of Dulles/IAD read more

Having visited countless lounges worldwide -- including Capital One Lounge, Lufthansa, and Turkish Airlines here in the Washington area -- I can confidently say the Etihad Airways Lounge at IAD (Terminal A) is one of those rare spaces that truly sets the standard for premium travel. Brand note: Operated by Etihad Airways, this lounge also welcomes Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers through Priority Pass -- a beautiful Etihad × Sapphire collaboration that elevates both brands. From the outside, it's almost invisible. Step inside and you're greeted with a warm, professional welcome -- the kind that makes you feel genuinely valued. The Space: * Right side: Chic bar and comfortable seating along the windows, perfect for plane-spotting. * Left side: Well-presented buffet with hot dishes, desserts, coffee, soft drinks, and unique finds. One standout: Tropical Mango Malaysia Hydration Drink -- refreshing, non-carbonated, electrolyte-rich. Food & Drinks - The buffet was consistently delicious, but the bar stole the show. Premium bottles like Elijah Craig sat alongside a superb Virginia bourbon I'd never tried before. And the Sapphire Signature Cocktail -- gin or vodka -- was elegant, distinct, and memorable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Upstairs - Panoramic airfield views, light desserts, a proper espresso setup, and even a thoughtfully designed kids' room -- a rare touch in high-end lounges.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service - This is where the lounge truly shines. Staff were impeccably dressed, attentive, and kind. While I was enjoying my meal, one stopped by just to check in -- a detail that lifted the experience from great to remarkable. Final Thoughts - This lounge doesn't just meet expectations -- it exceeds them. It outshines some of the biggest names and sets the bar for what premium airport lounges should aspire to be. this was great nothing bad at all to say it was a great experience. The staff was friendly. The food was great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seats were comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was not too crowded[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and then another shout out to the great staff. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My stupid airline was delayed three hours. At least I slept I ate. I slept again and I ate some more and nobody kicked me out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] read more
We got access to this lounge via the priority pass. This is one of the newest lounges in IAD. Extremely clean, lots of great food options and the bar is amazing. The bar tender can make any fancy cocktail. Service was great! They have table service at this lounge. One of the best food I have had in the lounge. Breakfast is made to order and some ready options like shakshuka were delicious. Staff were very welcoming unlike some of the other lunges. Highly recommend this lounge. read more
Um wow...this lounge takes the #1 spot for lounges at IAD. Check in was super easy, the staff was incredibly friendly, especially for it being so early in the morning! They even offer charging blocks that you can take to your table if you need to charge your devices. I've never seen that before. You can grab food from the buffet line or order different menu items from your phone. There is a coffee/latte machine which offers the option for oat milk, many juices and teas, etc. There is also a bar with alcohol. All the food we tried was delicious, my favorite being the berry french toast. read more

First time visiting Chase Sapphire Lounge. It was a such pleasure. From my questions being answered with the front desk crew, to the bartenders. They have a buffet and a nice menu selection. The workers clean up almost immediately when you're done with eating, which ensures a clean environment. Every time I fly out of IAD, they will be my stop before a long flight. read more

Etihad Lounge at Dulles Airport is one of my favorite lounges. With Priority Pass I get free access just once a year so I really look forward to using my yearly pass. It is usually not crowded. The food is really delicious. Some dishes feel like fine cuisine! Some things to remember: They have food out to go. They also have a menu from which you can order food. However between around 10-11am there is a lull when you can only order drinks and the only food available is at the at the to go counter. This is while they switch over from the breakfast to the all day menu. I just ate a little breakfast squash/potato thing with a cream sauce and it was out of this world - unexpectedly flavorful like a delicious appetizer at an exceptional restaurant. If you can come to Etihad Lounge rejoice and enjoy! I just had the lobster bisque and I am so happy read more

Came to lounge for an early flight. This lounge has 2 levels. Service- friendly, efficient, comfortable Atmosphere- clean, open concept, love the color coordination, comfortable furnitures Food- expresso was delicious; quality food and drinks, wonderful bar selections and service Value- good value for Sapphire members and Priority pass Highly recommended by @WineDinenVacay read more
Step aside Turkish Airlines Lounge. There's a new cool kid on the block. Changing it up, I checked into the Etihad Airways Lounge in Concourse A using my Priority Pass on a Monday afternoon. Here's my experience. 1) Check-In: Like all lounges, they scan your Priority Pass and boarding pass. The woman at the front desk was very kind. 2) Space: There's one lower space with a bar, dining areas, and self-service food area with drinks, restrooms, and reservable showers. The upper floor has couches and plenty of outlets. 3) Food: It's top notch. The self-service food bar comes with salads, desserts, main dishes like lamb meatballs and chicken, and more. Each table has a QR code to scan for more items like a burger, veggie burger, kids food, and more. Everything was very tasty! 4) Drinks: They have Coca-Cola products in small sizes, water, seltzer water, and a full bar with beer, wine, and custom cocktails. 5) Service: Everyone is attentive and kind. 6) Amenities: the Wi-Fi is strong and there are plenty of outlets and places to sit. Great service, amenities and food. Plenty of staff that are very friendly. They brought out a portable fast charger for my devices. The staff rounded on everyone appropriately. Mobile ordering for made to order food. Bathrooms and showers are clean as new. Furniture is new as well. Food was amazing. The French toast was as good as it gets. Melt in your mouth and perfectly balanced. The Shakshuka was reminded me of the same Shakhuka my buddies grandmother made. Simply amazing for lounge food. The salmon eggs Benedict had perfectly poached eggs and the English muffin was toasted just right. Hollandaise was perfectly balanced for the Salmon eggs benny. The food gets any international foodies seal of approval! The great minds at Chase and Eithad have done an amazing job with this lounge. I wish I could stay for the lunch/dinner offerings. :P read more
We arrived on a Friday at about 8:30 and were told there were three people ahead of us on the wait-list. For this reason, I highly recommend getting on the wait-list ahead of time, using the Chase app. The person who checked us in was unfortunately rather out of it that day, but I'm glad to say that the other staff in the lounge were very attentive and present. The lounge was quite spacious, and there was an array of cold and hot food just around the corner from the entrance. I loved the salad and the caprese, the mozzarella was so fresh! You can also order food at each table and someone will bring it to you. A surprise find at Dulles Airport - accessed via my Priority Pass membership, I arrive at the airport early to enjoy the facilities. The selection of food (hot buffet) + order off the menu, beer + liquor availability (try their signature drinks or a neat whiskey - the bar tender will even impart "smoke" flavor for you) and service from the staff are unmatched by other lounges in the terminal. WiFi and seats are available to work a bit prior to boarding your flight. Typing this review is not a win-win proposition because I truly wish to keep this place a secret because it's so darn good, but I wish to compliment the lounge for being so good. Submitting this review makes the place even more popular, meaning it may get crowded the next time I visit...oh well. If flying out of Dulles Airport, arrive early and visit the lounge in Concourse A, it's worth visiting for a relaxing experience in the terminal. read more
What a great lounge!! Quiet, great service and a full bar. This is where you go to relax between or before a flight. Got myself A great breakfast, a cup of coffee and I feel refreshed. Far better than I felt getting to the airport. Everyone is so nice here, you would never know we are near DC. Update: you can order food off of a special menu!! Go for the salmon Benedict!! read more
Reviewing the new Chase Sapphire Lounge in partnership with Etihad. The lounge is ok though service from everyone is top notch. Appreciate the amount of outlets available to charge. The food unfortunately was subpar. The grab from the station food was decent, but the a la carte ordering menu was very underwhelming. Burger was very dry, soup was not hot enough, glass noodles was too salty. Could have come up with more creative and better tasting dishes. There is such attention to dietary restrictions, it restricts regular food options. The drink menu looked pretty extensive and also appreciated the coffee machines all had an oat milk option. Improve the food and this is certainly a five-star lounge. read more
New top lounge at IAD! I was thrilled to wander in after an early AM flight delay. Breakfast buffet items were pretty standard, but there was also a QR code at your seat to order cooked to order items - I opted for the breakfast bao with turkey bacon and it was delicious. You can also order drinks to be delivered to your seat - I'll be trying the signature sapphire cocktail next visit. Service was great and atmosphere was serene at the time of my visit. Special shoutout to TK for excellent service and hospitality! read more
