Meatballs all picked out, with elbow macaroni dregs left un- replenished for more than 20 minutes, despite request to staff.

Nothing but picked over dregs to eat. Bar tender not at post, and four ounce plastic water cups only thing available for liquid refreshment. Chairs are comfortable, however.

United built this beautiful new Club but it has already filled up and has too many people. United has significantly upgraded the food offerings which is appreciated. The new space is a nice space if you can find a seat.

Quiet place to get away from crowded airport.

This is the club near D8. Nothing fancy. The bathroom consists of two stalls. Very small. The service is really good. Clean areas Quiet places to work. Plenty of seating The Mac n Cheese was tasty. Melon water was refreshing. Nice for an hour layover before an international flight. Marzita was very friendly.

Cyndy's Bottom Line: Screams renovate me But the basics are available. Coffee/tea/water, food items. Fresh fruit. Bakery items. Coffee machine. Dining area small and poorly laid out. Sparse amount of TVs Restrooms small. Service is good and quick to clean tables.

I didn't remember this United Club located in Concourse D, but I was last here in 2017 and probably didn't recognize it due to refurbishment of the soft goods. New armchairs, tables and more outlets. Unfortunately it's a bit like lipstick on a pig. It's down a level and most seating areas are dark and dreary. The wall decor is dated and gives no DC vibe; however, if you sit by the windows you get a wheel-level view of planes at the gates. That's kind of interesting. Food was the standard as other United Clubs. Soup of the day was Vegetarian Minestrone. Fresh spring salad mix, cheese cubes, sandwich cuts. Nothing unique to the DC area (what happened to United Club's go local promo highlighting regional specialties?). Staff are nice and quick to clean tables and bring out more food. Still, this is probably the worst United Club in IAD, and maybe anywhere.

The decor was rather tired looking and it's a confusing rabbit warren of little rooms. That said, the food was good and I really enjoyed the healthy option of salad, grilled chicken and couscous. We visited on St Patrick's Day and shamrock themed cupcakes were on offer!

Now serving. Glad they are serving more plahnt- based options. United Club IAD. 5.22.22

This is the largest of the UCs in Washington's IAD airport. It is cavernous. It is packed, partly maybe because it's open late. It is very unkempt. The stressed and tired workers here are catering to a what to them maybe an unending stream of rushed travelers. I'm not sure what's been happening with this particular club. Today after the remodel we're back to the same state of food offerings from a decade ago, cookies, brownies sandwiches, salad....Desserts are a plenty. And guests hoard up on the food and pack them for a connection or home. Not a dessert person, I got me a salad and a soup. The salad was good, the tomato soup very good. Not complaining as my international ticket got me a free pass into this United club. But I can't possibly eat the same grocery store looking sandwiches/wraps I've been seeing for over 10 years at United Clubs. This United Club was a high school cafeteria compared to my last visit to an airline lounge Air Canada''s Maple Leaf Lounge (hours prior). United has got to learn that profit making is good but come on stop it already with feeding your clients garbage; this is getting old. AND Stop it already with the cornucopia of Saran apples and oranges. No one eats them. And people think they've been there for ages so no one eats them. Lol Unless it's a perk that comes with my airline ticket or credit card, I wouldn't not spend $59 to get the " priviledge "of using a United club. Unless you want to pack up $59 worth of cookies Lol. Today United Clubs are typically more crowded than the rest of the airport, with lots of people gorging on desserts and taking them to go . Lol End of Yelp.

Left review just because It's not easy to find where is the club if you didn't get out the right gate . The food is ok, definitely can not compare with international lounge . The place Just old....

    Burnt cookies EVERY VISIT

The United club at Dulles near gate d8 has gone so far downhill but I will no longer renew my membership. The last three visits in a row, the cookies have been completely burnt to a crisp. Every single time. How do they keep serving food this inedible?

Was here on a Monday afternoon & not busy with an ample amount of open seats although it picked up after 4. The Chicken Rice Thai soup was very good and also had the salad-(good variety of greens and veggies). Charcuterie was also available. The lounge is on the 1st floor with a bar area, food/snack area, business and lounge areas. Area with the windows/view was sold out! The restrooms are not enough for the amount of seats/space provided. Bar-for whiskey lovers-Cutty Sark is on the house-Single Malt (Macallan, Glenlivet) starts at $15. Decent snack/savory/sweets table. Chocolate chip cookies were tasty.

Many people were ordering the Aperol Spritz drink special, so it seemed to be a crowd favorite. Overall, I enjoyed both my meal and the service. The lounge was definitely packed for a Thursday afternoon, although the many weather related flight delays likely contributed to the crowds. I was able to find a seat at the bar within a few minutes of arriving, but I noticed several people waiting around for a while hoping to find an open seat. Despite it being busy, it was a nice way to spend a long layover.

I also like how much flexibility you have when you're ordering on the QR code. When we arrived, the lounge was at capacity and so we were placed on a short waitlist and we were off within 10 minutes. Because of its capacity, they do direct you where you should sit, which was OK since I was traveling with just my parents. The lounge is split into two floors with really good ambience though like mentioned earlier they do try to fit as many guests as possible so we can feel a bit crowded!

Checked out the sit down restaurant which was empty when I sat down and filled up quickly as the hour got later. Had a crab salad with large lump crab minimally adorned and a burger with the works. Except for an overcooked egg on top (I do love a runny egg) it was a solid meal and the espresso martinis hit the spot ! Strong work !! Highly recommended.

Upon seeing my boarding pass, the staff informed me that we qualify to visit the Polaris Lounge instead, a 5 to 8 minutes' walk away, near Gate C17. I asked which will be less crowded. She said they are both crowded, but the Polaris is much nicer. We decided to hoof it over to the Polaris since it's supposed to be a big deal, ignoring the fact that we probably have 45 minutes only to stay there. She wasn't kidding. The place was packed. It was very difficult to get a pair of seats, and we basically were stalkers waiting for folks to leave. Meanwhile, we were sweating from the walk and from the many people inside the lounge. After finally having seats, we looked at the food and drinks selection. I have to admit the food selection is impressive. They have a dining section that is full table service. Then there is a buffet section with good selection of proteins and produce in addition to the usual snacks. I was too hot to be hungry by then and chose only several cocktail prawns plus a few asparagus stalks. After a cold soda with ice from the bar, it was time to leave. There was also a line to wait for the bathroom. Next time, we won't fancy a Polaris Lounge when we don't have the time to stay.
