One of the best lounges at Dulles! It is my go to whenever I am flying out; you can expect me to head there right after going through security. It is conveniently located right after pre-check TSA. They have a rotating variety of options from morning to night. It is small bites style offered as well as to go items prepackaged. The mushroom pasted toast, kale salad, and artichoke dip were great. Something new that I have never experienced is the on demand tea demonstration. Servers come around and make fresh tea mix in front of you ans offer a slice of lemon cake. Conveniently located after the TSA precheck security check, which is awesome The staff is amazingly friendly and attentive. The food selection is probably the best for an airport. All the dishes are flavorful and distinct. For breakfast the coconut parfait is a must try. They also have a parent room, which is absolutely perfect for taking care of kids. It's stocked with diapers and a sitting area to feed the baby. It's really a great plus. read more

I do feel like the quality at the cap one lounge has really gone down a lot in the past few years. We went from getting a couple free visits a year to now you have to pay even if you're a cardholder. Also did you know they won't let you check in more than 3 hours before your flight time? Learned that the hard way. The food has been okay and I do appreciate that they have different vegan options and options for those with dietary restrictions, but it has felt like it's not been worth it for a while. read more

I love this lounge! Capital one has truly struck gold with this lounge. This lounge is almost hidden and think they could benefit from better signage but take a step in a be greeted with their great coffee bar. This is a lounge where you can enjoy small bites along with great craft cocktails. Do not expect a big buffet meal like other lounges but small plates that you can grab. Think it's definitely worth stopping by especially on a short layover or a long one where you can pair with another lounge like we did. The small bites are really great and the cocktails are even better. I do however not like their policy against nonrevenue passengers with confirmed flight. read more

I highly recommend using the app to join the waitlist, since waits can stretch to an hour during peak travel times (it was about 45 minutes around 5 p.m. on a Friday). The atmosphere: The lounge is spacious, with table, bar, and couch seating. There are also small work rooms if you prefer a quieter, more private setup. The food: Tons of options, including coffee, juices, soda, and alcoholic beverages. There are plenty of tapas-style dishes (hot and cold), plus a great dessert selection. I loved the thin, crispy cookies. There are to-go bags available, and I recommend grabbing a few for your flight. Always enjoy stopping by the Capital One Lounge when I'm traveling. The space is beautiful, modern, and actually feels relaxing compared to the usual airport chaos. The food is also surprisingly good for a lounge way better than the typical snacks. Only downside is the recent change where guests have to pay now. I get that lounges are trying to control crowding, but it's kind of annoying since bringing a travel companion used to be part of the perk. Feels like every lounge is starting to do this now. I now consider this my home lounge. The capital one landing in DCA is close, but this one takes the cake. Always a great experience here, plenty of food from hearty items to sweets. Coffee and espresso bar if that's your vibe. Get the bee drink! Does it taste good? Up to you. Does it look freakin awesome? Absolutely yes. I usually find myself scavenging the food and downing a couple mimosas or espresso martinis. Before you head you make sure you stop by the grab and go. 7.25.25 My childhood friends, who are siblings, and I traveled to Japan recently. One of them has a travel credit card so his sister and I got a discounted rate ($46, half off regular price) to access the lounge. Finding the lounge was tricky. I think they make it intentionally challenging to limit the number of people. Lol. The amenities of the lounge included unlimited access to the buffet and prepackaged refreshments, private restrooms, bar, and lounge area. It was a great way to chill and relax before a long flight. I would definitely do it again for $46, but not for $92. read more

Came in during the morning before my flight, little to no wait time, but we were quite a bit early and they are strict on the 3 hour. You must wait until you are no less than 3 hours from departure. It kind of defeats the purpose of a lounge as a rest stop for long layovers. I liked the sweet potato with kale. Quiche was a bit dry. Lox was also good. Lovely and pretty parfait. French toast was bland. Drinks are great and my favorite is the cherry blossom margarita. They have definitely improved on the aesthetics. The cups are so cute! Nice cleaning staff. read more

This lounge is located near the entrance to Z gates. Coming from another flight follow the signs to Z gates, look for the Dunkin and walk past it. There will be an elevator to your left, go up and the lounge is there. I was impressed by this lounge, even preferring it to the bigger Denver one! The grab and go is substantial and AMAZING. Full service coffee shop with made to order drinks and pastries, to-go sandwiches and salads, plus bagged snacks (get as many of the blueberry yogurt pretzels as you can legally fit in your carry-on, trust me. I dream of them.). And don't forget a cherry blossom dark chocolate bar! The interior is nice, a very relaxed feel. The food buffet is still extensive and includes some classics like mac & cheese or meatballs, as well as some interesting and seasonal foods (there was a great spring veggie flatbread in May). The bar is great, fast and really cool drinks. Of course you HAVE to try the bee drink, I mean come on its served in a bee. However, I preferred another cocktail with a bit of iced chai in it! Can't recall the name, but look for chai on the menu and you'll see it. Great lounge, great way to rest before a flight. Or great way to eat on a flight if you're in a rush. read more

Such a great lounge! Super easy to find if you have tsa precheck but even if you dont u just go up two escalators/elevators and there are a ton of signs! When you walk in they swipe your venturex card and check your boarding pass to make sure u are truly flying out and within 3 hrs of departing. To your left there is a coffee bar with a huge plethora of options and some pastries including local poptarts which are *amazing*. If you walk to the back theres an open bar with a ton of cocktails, beer, wine, and non alcoholic drinks. Theres also some tapas/ smaller dishes. I went during breakfast time so there was your typical offerings: french toast casserole, parfait, sausage egg and cheese sandwiches and more! I have been told there arent a ton of dairy/gluten free options. I always look forward to coming to the airport early to relax here! Highly recommend getting the venturex but starting feb 2025, you will not be able to bring any guests. Still think it is one of the best lounges esp in dulles. Check it out! read more

Great lounge, with a full bar and a barista. Their cocktails and food are usually a hit or miss for me. Some food can be dry/underseasoned. I do love the takeaway snacks/food options (sometimes the sandwiches are dry though). Staff are friendly, and the lounge itself is always clean. They are usually good at refilling the food. They are strict with the 3-hour policy. I've been where there has been a 45-1 hour wait, so be sure to check the Capital One app and check the wait time (add yourself to the waitlist if it's busy) read more

Omg. Favorite airport lounge. I have the venture C and have not been able to stop by a capital one lounge until now. Definitely worth having the credit card and would be willing to pay. I sadly did get there later at night and only had about 30 minutes in the lounge. although it was close to closing time, everything was still available. Good selection of food (although I ate before this) and drinks were great. their signature drink is the bees knees and I loved it. the glass it came in was fun (see the photo) and tasted great. please stop by while at Dulles! read more

This alone makes the Venture X card worth it. One of the best airport lounge experiences ever. I can't wait for them to open more locations. The food and drink emphasized local inspiration, so there's a connection beyond regular airport filler. The coffee art is on point and refreshing. I've flown over 1.7 million miles and have been to 46 countries. So, I've seen a lot of airports and a lot of lounges. This is truly one of the best. Yea, it has a weird layout, and the temp is a little warm, but the lighting, music, and the food is great. Shrimp Bain mi? Yes! Mac and cheese? Yes! Loved the coconut tahini dessert and the smores. And the strawberry pop tarts are worth taking a few! The bar was open and airy. Clean and sleek. Loved it. Sadly they did not have Sauvignon blanc so I had an expertly crafted dirty martini. Loved the little touches like the tray being warm. The service was off the charts. A dirty plate or dish did not sit long. read more

Lol We were greeted so sweetly, and immediately headed to the full coffee bar for a delicious cappuccino. They have a nice grab and go section, sandwiches, fruit, salads, drinks if your in a hurry. But walking around the back they have a nice sitting area with a hot bar with small plates, fancy soda section, pastry/ dessert section. We grabbed a few things sat down and dug in, really loved the small bites, love to eat that way! Full bar in the middle of the room, who cares if it's 7am, I'm on vacation! Been here a couple of times before flights and it's conveniently located outside the TSA pre check security line. Otherwise you kinda have to go hunting for it. Sometimes it's busy and there's a wait list. We managed to get in the waitlist before security and we got in by the time we were done. Last time we just popped in for snacks and coffee, especially to-go meals to eat on the flight. The portions are small but there's no limit on how much you take so if one bite of sandwich is too little--grab another! No biggie I love the chocolates they hand out! The bar is open and they have a nice selection of cocktails. I've had a couple of different ones and they've all been tasty It definitely improved the flying experience to be able to come rest at the capital one lounge! read more

Tip: if you have both capital one lounge access and a priority pass, get something to-go first and then proceed to priority pass lounge. Wow! This is pretty fantastic! A relaxing but still kind of lively space with a complimentary bar, coffee bar (and a draft latte tap), a hot buffet, and grab and go food options. Plus, it's just a nice place to sit and relax, while not feeling like you are in the teeming throng of humanity that is Concourse C at Dulles. I've been to other capital one lounges before and this lounge definitely lived up to the standard, if not surpassed it! I'm used to having to wait such a long time to even get in the lounge. But I was able to just walk in and find a seat immediately. The food choices were amazing and delicious. (especially the mac and cheese! It's usually dry and the cheese isn't really melted at other locations, but it was so creamy here) I love the little cafe coffee bar. This is ordinarily my favorite lounge at IAD Dulles airport. I highly recommend the food at this lounge as it has both healthy and good tasting food. The service of removing used dishes and cutlery is excellent and friendly. The ambiance is calming in an otherwise stressful hurry-up to wait airport environment. I like the WiFi. Like with any service, something I think could have been handled better was that my plane left after the lounge closed but the lounge had a three hour cut-off. I arrived four hours before the lounge closes so I had to sit outside for an hour which wasn't horrible. But I could think of scenarios when it would have reduced the amount of time I could stay in the lounge. This resulted in a rushed scenario if the lounge closes before the plane leaves but the lounge won't let customers three hours before departure which could be conflicted if the lounge is going to close before the plane leaves. If the plane leaves three hours after the lounge closes--does that mean we cannot use the lounge? Overall, I think the lounge experience is great would highly recommend it for customers who flights leave when the lounge is open rather than after it closes or before it opens. read more

Nice lounge write after passing through security. Positives: Staff and service were excellent. People were constantly clearing tables, cleaning the floors, getting new food out, and drinks came out quickly. Everyone had a smile on their face. Drinks were very strong. They also had lots of different flavored carbonated drinks. Quiet Had a to go station where you could get snacks/sandwiches and their cafe for on the go. Negatives: Unfortunately crowded. I get it but fortunately my wait to get in was only 10 minutes, maybe 15 minutes max. Very warm inside, especially by the bar area. no fans, and AC didn't seem to be particularly strong in that one area. All of the seats were comfortable, but not all of them had a dedicated table/desk. Some chairs had a side table, so I had to turn to the side to eat/place my food and drinks. No windows! All the windows were covered up (i imagine there isn't too pleasant a view behind them) but would have been nice to be able to look outside. Food itself was just okay. Overall, I still enjoyed the lounge. I will come back whenever I have the opportunity to. Like costco and chik fil a in general, great staff makes this place a nice place to rest and relax. read more

I got to use my Capital one venture card to access their lounge finally. We were on our way to San Diego. We stopped at this lounge to have brunch. One of the best spreads of food I have seen. Bao buns with pork, lamb meatballs, cheese, eggs, fried rice, lots of desserts and lots of drinks options. It's an open bar and unlimited food. Take advantage of this lounge if you have the venture X card. Toilets are very clean and nicely maintained. Plenty of seating options with charging stations. Service was great! read more

I found it to be: - Spacious - Clean - Luxurious - Friendly and fast with regard to service - Delicious with regard to food and drink offerings It seems like they always have an open coffee bar, an open liquor bar, and rotating food/buffet options depending on the time of day.
