I do feel like the quality at the cap one lounge has really gone down a lot in the past few years. We went from getting a couple free visits a year to now you have to pay even if you're a cardholder. Also did you know they won't let you check in more than 3 hours before your flight time? Learned that the hard way. The food has been okay and I do appreciate that they have different vegan options and options for those with dietary restrictions, but it has felt like it's not been worth it for a while.

Great cocktails and coffee! The only food I had was the chocolate chip cookies and those were delicious!

Love the cocktail options capital one lounge offers. The food is always different as they rotate their items seasonally. Spacious and usually no wait when I get to the airport.

Gosh! This lounge is the epitome of luxury for "normal peeps" like me. Free food and drinks and quality service. Yes, the "grab and go" bar is the best if you are one of those "I like to have takeout items", just in case!

I love this lounge! Capital one has truly struck gold with this lounge. This lounge is almost hidden and think they could benefit from better signage but take a step in a be greeted with their great coffee bar. This is a lounge where you can enjoy small bites along with great craft cocktails. Do not expect a big buffet meal like other lounges but small plates that you can grab. Think it's definitely worth stopping by especially on a short layover or a long one where you can pair with another lounge like we did. The small bites are really great and the cocktails are even better. I do however not like their policy against nonrevenue passengers with confirmed flight.

My first time at this lounge, and definitely not my last. I highly recommend using the app to join the waitlist, since waits can stretch to an hour during peak travel times (it was about 45 minutes around 5 p.m. on a Friday). The atmosphere: The lounge is spacious, with table, bar, and couch seating. There are also small work rooms if you prefer a quieter, more private setup. The food: Tons of options, including coffee, juices, soda, and alcoholic beverages. There are plenty of tapas-style dishes (hot and cold), plus a great dessert selection. I loved the thin, crispy cookies. There are to-go bags available, and I recommend grabbing a few for your flight. The service: The staff was wonderful across the board, friendly, helpful, and happy to answer all my questions.

I now consider this my home lounge. The capital one landing in DCA is close, but this one takes the cake. Always a great experience here, plenty of food from hearty items to sweets. Coffee and espresso bar if that's your vibe. Get the bee drink! Does it taste good? Up to you. Does it look freakin awesome? Absolutely yes. I usually find myself scavenging the food and downing a couple mimosas or espresso martinis. Before you head you make sure you stop by the grab and go. I'm attaching an assortment of photos taken from my times here (including DA BEEEE).

7.25.25 My childhood friends, who are siblings, and I traveled to Japan recently. One of them has a travel credit card so his sister and I got a discounted rate ($46, half off regular price) to access the lounge. Finding the lounge was tricky. I think they make it intentionally challenging to limit the number of people. Lol. The amenities of the lounge included unlimited access to the buffet and prepackaged refreshments, private restrooms, bar, and lounge area. It was a great way to chill and relax before a long flight. I would definitely do it again for $46, but not for $92.

Came in during the morning before my flight, little to no wait time, but we were quite a bit early and they are strict on the 3 hour. You must wait until you are no less than 3 hours from departure. It kind of defeats the purpose of a lounge as a rest stop for long layovers. I liked the sweet potato with kale. Quiche was a bit dry. Lox was also good. Lovely and pretty parfait. French toast was bland. Drinks are great and my favorite is the cherry blossom margarita. They have definitely improved on the aesthetics. The cups are so cute! Nice cleaning staff.

This one is with fewer seats than other lounges, but the bars are great. Yes, bars - a bar bar with cute ice spheres, and a coffee bar. The food selection is much smaller, but it's ok. So glad to have crossed this last one off :)

Such a great lounge! Super easy to find if you have tsa precheck but even if you dont u just go up two escalators/elevators and there are a ton of signs! When you walk in they swipe your venturex card and check your boarding pass to make sure u are truly flying out and within 3 hrs of departing. To your left there is a coffee bar with a huge plethora of options and some pastries including local poptarts which are *amazing*. If you walk to the back theres an open bar with a ton of cocktails, beer, wine, and non alcoholic drinks. Theres also some tapas/ smaller dishes. I went during breakfast time so there was your typical offerings: french toast casserole, parfait, sausage egg and cheese sandwiches and more! I have been told there arent a ton of dairy/gluten free options. I always look forward to coming to the airport early to relax here! Highly recommend getting the venturex but starting feb 2025, you will not be able to bring any guests. Still think it is one of the best lounges esp in dulles. Check it out!

Omg. Favorite airport lounge. I have the venture C and have not been able to stop by a capital one lounge until now. Definitely worth having the credit card and would be willing to pay. I sadly did get there later at night and only had about 30 minutes in the lounge. although it was close to closing time, everything was still available. Good selection of food (although I ate before this) and drinks were great. their signature drink is the bees knees and I loved it. the glass it came in was fun (see the photo) and tasted great. please stop by while at Dulles!

What a fantastic lounge. Grab and go bags, a coffee bar, a full bar, hot food. Best lounge I've been too.

Anyway with our upgrade came a lounge visit but Lufthansa's lounge was closed for refurbishment. We were given access to any Star Alliance lounge and after research we chose Turkish Airlines. Best airport lounge food I've had. The bar is tucked away in the back separate from the food and dining area. Unfortunately I had minimal time to experience as the lounge was full. They kept allowing Turkish airlines passengers in the lounge and put passport members were put on a hold . We waited 45 min before being allowed in. I had to go up and ask because they said the lounge was full but kept letting other members in. The people at the front desk were not very pleasant or accommodating. The lounge was packed very tight. It was noisy and loud. It's a big lounge but the bathroom lines were incredibly long. Food was mediocre - on the upside the desserts were pretty tasty.

It is smaller, has less food options, only one shower, only 4 bathroom stalls, and a long wait if you happen upon it during a busy time. Their signature burger was not good here - dry, overcooked, no flavor. When I had it in Boston, it was pretty good, so super disappointing. The service was the same, attentive and professional. Having said all this, it is still much better than most airport lounges in the United States. The salmon and rice they served on the buffet line was good, so I filled up in that. The location is fairly convenient - in A. You can walk from B. It's next to where you'd enter from the airport tram (if coming from C) and when you get off the escalator from the airport shuttle (if coming from D).

Upon seeing my boarding pass, the staff informed me that we qualify to visit the Polaris Lounge instead, a 5 to 8 minutes' walk away, near Gate C17. I asked which will be less crowded. She said they are both crowded, but the Polaris is much nicer. We decided to hoof it over to the Polaris since it's supposed to be a big deal, ignoring the fact that we probably have 45 minutes only to stay there. She wasn't kidding. The place was packed. It was very difficult to get a pair of seats, and we basically were stalkers waiting for folks to leave. Meanwhile, we were sweating from the walk and from the many people inside the lounge. After finally having seats, we looked at the food and drinks selection. I have to admit the food selection is impressive. They have a dining section that is full table service. Then there is a buffet section with good selection of proteins and produce in addition to the usual snacks. I was too hot to be hungry by then and chose only several cocktail prawns plus a few asparagus stalks. After a cold soda with ice from the bar, it was time to leave. There was also a line to wait for the bathroom. Next time, we won't fancy a Polaris Lounge when we don't have the time to stay.

I'm wagering that other bread items, oh for those seeking danish or muffins, not a chance that's available. On the coffee side why does United ignore a growing segment of the population that either has a dairy allergy, lactose intolerant or vegan? Ever heard of almond, oat or soy milk? What about those little french vanilla cup things? Clearly who ever oversees this club must be the same dolt who oversees the one in Phoenix because they follow the similar path of cream, 50-50 or whole milk. You do get a sippy like plastic cup for the kiddos, oh I mean for adults to drink your soda out of the machine. Finally with all the germ rise and an increase in norovirus and ongoing yuckiness, how about sanitizer like so many biz lounges have everywhere even on the wall? Don't fret though. Because if you love oranges you are in luck. They also use them for decoration.
