Good memories of the United Club at the Dulles Intl Airport. Had two passes from my United Explorer credit card, so decided to use them for our layover at Dulles. My flight from Hartford arrived at gate C6, 20 min late and my departure flight 1147 to SFO was leaving from gate D29 (45 min away- and boarding was closing in 28 min)... I stopped at the United Club at C7 (I have a membership and requested an electric cart ride, so I might still get in the flight...two receptionists within the United Club were kind enough to call for a cart and it hadn't shown up in 12 min of waiting... one of the receptionists called for a cart again and walked with me toward the D gates to meet the cart... this act of kindness was greatly appreciated... kudos to these employees, the very best that United has to offer... read more

This is the United club lounge on Concourse C. When I went there, the place got really crowded and we had a hard time finding a place to sit. They do have a full bar although the options for food items were pretty limited. If you're flying Polaris, then I would try the Polaris lounge also in Concourse C, which is much better. read more

I travel out to Dulles for work every other month or so (it died down a bit in 2023 for me). I try to take United every chance I get since Dulles is my go to and it's a hub. I've been to several different United Lounges in here. I'm traveling to London today so I should really have Polaris access but can't be bothered to go somewhere else when there's a regular lounge right outside the C7 gate I take off from. Anyway, the lounges themselves need a facelift- none of them are in great shape. But neither is the airport. It's just a majorly convenient airport for me bc it's quick and 18 mins from my home. I don't eat the food so I can't speak to that- doesn't look all that appetizing, especially compared to other lounges. I just usually make myself a tea, bag some bananas for the flight itself and just charge my phone/Apple Watch while waiting. I also don't usually use the bar - and when I do, I pay for the drink bc I don't want well drinks and prefer Tito's. read more

I am not a frequent United Club guest, but I was traveling internationally this month and my status gave me access to this lounge once I returned to the US. Overall, this was a good experience. I showed up pretty late (9 p.m.) and they had make-your-own pulled pork sandwiches available, as well as very crispy chocolate chip cookies. For a snack, it was perfect. The bar was pouring but I kept my business to the soda fountain. There were enough seats, and the staff worked constantly to keep the place clean. This was definitely not one of the newer lounges out there, but it got the job done and it's hard to complain about a free dinner. Would snack here again. read more

We were able to have access to the United Lounge due to being United Explorer members. Despite the low Yelp rating, I was pleasantly surprised. The space is huge. Although I'm slowly becoming less and less loyal to United, I find myself gravitating towards their flights due to the status I've accrued from my travels and the different airline options in the Star Alliance network. That being said, one of the perks of having status with United is being able to waste time in their United Club lounges before boarding your flight. Conveniently located in the middle of terminal C, there's plentiful seating throughout the club (armchairs, tables, etc.) with a fair share of power outlets scattered around. There are TVs throughout displaying national news as well as flight departure information. There's also a full bar with premium drinks that come with an additional cost. The food selection consists of veggies, different types of cheeses, pastries and a daily soup, which is minuscule compared to other United Clubs. The food also doesn't seem to be refreshed (aka, replaced/new options added) as much as it should. I've had a great experience with their customer service for the most part. We're typically greeted with friendly faces during check-in, at the bar, and those who are cleaning/picking up after the patrons. read more

This morning (a Monday, 10:45am), the club is fairly quiet, maybe 20-30 members inside. The bar is open if you desire (need?) something with a little more bang than your coffee, as well as the breakfast bar which has typical coffee, bagels, yogurt...etc. If you are a member then you appreciate the quietness and relaxing atmosphere. If you are not a member, if you have time between flights then I encourage you to ask for a look around...you will find a sanctuary, refuge from the tense and stressful world that exists outside the club doors...!!! read more

As with the others - after entering, you descend down via either an elevator or stairs to the main level.
