Doner gyro and fries
Scott H.

I got the doner sandwich. Lots of yummy meat. I assume that's their specialty. The menu is quite large and I feel I couldn't really go Wrong. I got both sauces which was a mistake because I didn't really care for one. But I can't tell which it was. It comes with fries which is great because it catches all the drops of meat and then you have doner fries too. I found it interesting to see a picture from just a month before with krinkle fries. These were cut kind of like when mcmenimans fries were good or a less substantial five guys. I really liked it. Definitely the best place to eat in the mall.

This place is a hidden gem. If you're perusing around the mall, you need to stop by this place for a bite to eat. The service and people working here are so grateful and thankful that you'll enjoy their food because it's that good. I went here with my daughter to have a late lunch and both our meals were great. My daughter had the lamb gyro and I had the Chicken Saj. Oh man one bite into that Saj is so delicious. I like the tortilla-like bread they use and the garlic sauce is what gives it the flavor. The chicken was well seasoned and going back to the tortilla, it may looked burned on the outside but you don't taste it at all. If in fact, it makes the food taste better. The gyro is the same as well. I was first drawn to this place because of the colorful menus they have overhead and pictures with complete ingredients. I will be coming back here again. For the price of my Saj, they give you two along with some fries.

For sure the best Lebanese food in Hillsboro, maybe the best in all of Oregon!…read more I've had Falafel in many restaurants surrounding Portland and this is the best by far. Very moist, tender and loads of flavor, unlike most places that serve it drier than a week old biscuit. Their Hummus is creamy and delicious. The best I've had anywhere and it comes with a huge piece of flatbread. The rice was light and fluffy, steamed to perfection. Atmosphere is warm, cozy Mediteranian; service was fast and attentive; food was abundant and delicious; prices are fair and very reasonable. Seriously nothing not to love about this amazing restaurant! My only complaint is their takeout boxes are made of single-use plastic.

A Stunning Mediterranean Escape! If you're in Beaverton and…read morelooking for an authentic, high-quality Lebanese meal, Oasis Lebanese Cuisine (located in the Murray Scholls Town Center) is a total standout. It's rare to find a place that nails the "hidden gem" feel while providing such a polished, upscale atmosphere. Here is why Oasis is my absolute favorite: The Ambiance: The interior is beautiful and incredibly unique. They have these cozy, fabric-tented booths that make your meal feel private and intimate--perfect for a date night or a long catch-up with friends. It truly feels like an "oasis" once you step inside. The Mezza Plate Sampler: If it's your first time, you must order this. It's the best way to try a bit of everything--the hummus is velvety, the baba ghanouj has that perfect smoky char, and the falafel is served hot and crispy. The Lamb Shank: This is the ultimate comfort food. The meat literally falls off the bone and is seasoned with a blend of Middle Eastern spices that are aromatic but not overwhelming. Pair it with their basmati rice, and you're in heaven. Specialty Drinks: Their Rose Water Lemonade is life-changing--so refreshing and not too sweet. If you're a coffee lover, the Turkish Coffee is the perfect way to end the meal. The Experience: On Friday and Saturday nights, they often have belly dancing performances, which adds such a vibrant, cultural energy to the room. It makes the whole night feel like an event rather than just a dinner. Exceptional Service: The staff here is so welcoming and fast. Even when the restaurant is full, they are incredibly attentive and happy to explain the menu or accommodate dietary needs (lots of great gluten-free and vegan options!). Pro Tip: If you like a little heat, ask for their spicy garlic sauce. It's addictive and goes well with just about everything on the menu. Whether you're a local or just passing through Beaverton, Oasis is a must-visit. You'll come for the food, but you'll stay for the incredible vibes!

So, we drove the 10 minutes, parked in the spacious lot and went in. The owner greeted us and asked if it was our first time. We said yes. He asked us to give him a couple minutes to make us a small sample plate to try all the flavors. Amazing customer service right off the bat. He soon appeared with the sample plate and explained what everything was. We were loving the flavors and knew we wanted to try more. We ordered a chicken schwarma plate with rice, a lamb plate with rice, and a sampler platter (can't remember exact name) that was massive!! The food was hot, fresh, flavorful, and so filling!! The three of us ate so much and still had 3 full Togo containers. It's sad we don't live closer as we be regulars for sure!!

Husband and I were running errands in Tualatin and noticed it was time for lunch. I did a search on…read moreYelp and found we were just a few minutes away from this Grab a Gyro location. The online menu was easy to navigate so we called in a pickup order. 15 minutes later we were on our way home with wonderful aromas coming from our orders in the backseat. It's dangerously messy for me to try eating in the car -especially something stuffed in a pita bread- and no quantity of napkins will save my leather seat covers from getting stains. If it hadn't of been raining, we would have done what one of the business signs suggested "Best to grab and eat by Lake of the Commons" just nearby. So we took or orders home. I got the Kafta Kebob Gyro ($14): lean ground beef mixed with a blend of spices and grilled over an open flame. Served in a warm pita with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, tzatziki and tahini sauce. The char on the kebob was perfect and very flavorful. Definitely an order again. My husband tried the Chicken Shawarma Gyro ($13): sliced chicken breast sauteed in shawarma spices (not spicy). Served in a warm pita with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and tzatziki sauce. His only complaint was that it wasn't spicy enough. Portions were generous and filling. I don't think I could have eaten any of the delicious-looking curly fries I could have ordered to go along side. Next time maybe. Inside the restaurant is clean. Parking is easy and plentiful. No steps or stairs to enter and plenty of room inside for anyone with mobility issues. Clean ADA & gender neutral restroom too. Great find in Tualatin.
