I gave her my name--Ryan--and both times she confidently informed me there was no order for Ryan, dismissed me, and acted as though I had wandered into a private event instead of a restaurant where I had literally paid for food. The second visit somehow managed to top the first. After being treated rudely yet again, I made the outrageous decision to tell her she was being rude. Rather than doing something radical like apologizing or checking on my order, she followed me outside onto a crowded sidewalk, yelling at me to "say that to her face." A male employee joined the spectacle, scolding me while she continued shouting after me in front of customers eating outside. I've never had a takeout order come with complimentary public humiliation and a sidewalk shouting match.
