The dish was supposed to to be accompanied by polenta with trumpet mushrooms, but two paltry slices of mushroom with a small smear of polenta completed the dish which "artfully" only occupied the left half of the plate, leaving the rest of the plate bare. Small portions aside, the dish was overly salty, to the point I had dry mouth the rest of the night, and the chicken was overcooked. The taste was fine, and the little bit of polenta added enough moisture to make the dish work. The worst thing was the incredibly dull dinner knife that couldn't cut through the mushroom, let alone the chicken, causing me to apply the stab and pull/tear method to get bite sized pieces. Everything thing else was superb. I would go back for the cocktails and appetizers, perhaps grazing the appetizers and a salad as a dinner. The pastas all looked terrific, but I will probably steer clear of the four mains on the menu, as they seem to be the least inspired items to order.

The second visit somehow managed to top the first. After being treated rudely yet again, I made the outrageous decision to tell her she was being rude. Rather than doing something radical like apologizing or checking on my order, she followed me outside onto a crowded sidewalk, yelling at me to "say that to her face." A male employee joined the spectacle, scolding me while she continued shouting after me in front of customers eating outside. I've never had a takeout order come with complimentary public humiliation and a sidewalk shouting match. The truly ironic part is that the sandwiches are good enough that I wanted to become a regular. Instead, I've learned that ordering takeout here comes with the chance of being treated like you're not welcome and humiliated. People remember how you make them feel.
