The colors really complement each other. They also have different weight options, exercise balls, some mats available, stretch bands etc. For the grand opening they hosted 3 classes for the community. They had charcuterie cups, mocktails, different vendors and sign up specials. The owner, Samara, is so kind! It looks like they have a wonderful little community going on here. Parking is also not too difficult. She definitely gave this place a beautiful makeover. :)

I already stopped using my phone like before. I explained my situation politely, but they don't care. The way they control members is ridiculous and disrespectful. I'm not a child in a classroom. It's just Pilates. There's no trust, no flexibility - just pure overcontrolling. I didn't know signing up for Pilates meant signing up for a stricter attendance policy than grad school. Cesar is a stand up guy that works hard to build you up as an individual to what your personal goals are. Stop by and see that he's built a community of people who support one another and work hard to accomplish their goals. There have been so many changes over the years to the gym here at UCR, mostly to try to better the place. They've moved things around, made things nicer, added more things, and overall improved the gym space but adding things like extra power racks and now they have a weight sled on the second floor. Service is generally friendly but usually whenever I ask the front desk for things, they seem lost or they act like they don't care about anything. Overall, I do think that this recreation center is a lot nicer than other the other UCs. Some of my complaints include that they refuse to have higher dumbbell limits, since the highest dumbbells only go up to 100. I know it's not in-demand to have them, but if students need to progress, you'd think they'd add more weights. I also don't like that they got rid of some of the leg machines downstairs and moved them upstairs. By doing that, you're making students become even more lazy from doing leg workouts more often and you've created a chicken leg epidemic! haha If you're coming to this gym from outside of the university, I believe that they have guest passes for $5. But if you're from UCR, I highly suggest utilizing this gym because it's included in your tuition.

They have any type of weight training you need, an indoor track, beautiful pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, and almost anything you need. The equipment is kept clean, and you can use the rooms to do floor training when classes aren't being held. Speaking of classes - they have people come and teach Zumba, Pilates, or again - anything you need. Water stations on both floors, and clean bathrooms on both floors as well. Sometimes the SRC gets crowded, but that's mostly after the New Years. If you avoid prime hours of working out you'll have no problem getting the machines you need. However, even if it is crowded, you'll still get what you need with a short wait time. If you're a student or have the opportunity to use this gym, I strongly recommend it!

Unfortunately they book way too many people per session and you are practically touching each other during moves. It would be great if they had less people- I would even be willing to pay more for the comfort since you can't even stretch out your arms without touching someone. I also noticed that the rooms started to get pretty smelly- which might be normal for heated classes maybe? But the moldy smell should be preventable somehow I'm sure. Maybe they need to replace the mats more- not sure. Overall I really enjoyed the concept and if they fix the class sizes and smell I would probably come back.

This is not just a do it yourself Gym, the owners Sean & Nico take great pride in what they do and take the time to show you proper technique in all the exercises. They pride themselves on having a very motivating and friendly atmosphere making sure you never feel like a failure. When you unable to do a specific exercise, they modify the exercise to fit your ability and help you build so maybe next time you can. I have met some exceptional people ranging in age from 12 years and above (I might be the oldest) that I am sure someday I can call my real friends. You know the kind, the ones that cheer you on when you are drenched with sweat, trying to finish the last 10 seconds. The ones that will not let you quit because they know how it feels when you succeed. I tried Camp Transformation and lost some weight but they go after the masses and once you finish the challenge, they move on to the next group. They encourage you eat right while on the challenge only allowing you to eat from a list of about 25 foods. I found it very difficult once completing my challenge to keep the weight off. Xtreme Solutions Gym on the other hand takes the time to show you how to eat healthy not limiting your food choices and even offers to cook you a healthy breakfast after an early morning workout or protein shake in the evening. I know that in a few more weeks (well maybe months in my case) I will be able to push through almost anything I throw my way. My attitude and approach to life is changing for the better. Each moment of life counts and builds on the next. Therefore, if you are looking to try something new, want to kick some butt or just make yours a little smaller. Your not just a number on a clip board Sean and Nick know everyone by name and honestly care about you and your well being. I have been involved with other gyms and this one is by far the best work out, the best people, the best trainers, and the best atmosphere. I have surpassed my own expectations because of these amazing people, both the trainers and the rest of the family.
