Trying to peel them off with alcohol or ever a dryer ruin the book's value and is heartbreaking for lovers of old paperbacks. It's unfortunate.

They got rid of their little wine bar several years ago but have expanded their children's section into a comfortable little nook that is perfect for finding your next best read. He laughed at me, said good luck, and then followed me around the store. He kept making comments just loud enough for me to hear, such as "magic is as real as religion", "Hagerstown is just full of crazy people these days". I finally turned around and asked him what his problem was, to which he replied "oh I don't have a problem but clearly you do." I immediately left and I will never come back. In fact, I'm going to tell people not to come to this store because the managers are very rude.
