Called because my Samsung refrigerator (Don't ever buy Samsung) was leaking water into the freezer drawer and freezing, thus making the drawer difficult to open. Was given an appointment the very next day and was given a two-hour time frame for when the technician would arrive. He (Brent) called to say he was on the way just 1/2 hour into that time frame. So far, so good. Brent arrived, knew exactly what the problem was and had the refrigerator fixed and everything (including the iceberg under the freezer drawer) cleaned up in 30 - 45 minutes. He was friendly, polite, and totally professional the whole time he was here. He was happy to take time to explain what had gone wrong - a design flaw in Samsung refrigerators. The charges were totally reasonable. Thanks to Brent and Turner, what could have been a serious headache turned into a completely pleasant experience. I definitely recommend them and will use them for any and all future appliance misbehaviors. read more

I purchased a used W/D set for my son, who was moving to Terre Haute. The salesman told me they had a 60 warrenty, but they didn't go that far. The first time he used the dryer, it stopped heating. Long story short, the dryer needed a new timer. I went to Turner today to see if they would reimburse me something for the repair. I spoke with Mike the manager. He was very friendly and helpful. He credited me $80, which is their hourly repair rate. I was very pleased with this. He didn't have to do anything, but he heard me out and we came to an agreement. I had used them in the past and was pleased with them. I was told they would come between 10-12. I called twice and was told that he would be on his way. He didn't show up until 2:10! I asked him for a discount since he was over 2 hours late with no one calling me. He called into the office and was told to give me a $10 discount. Extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service. My time is valuable too. They never acknowledged the inconvenience that it had cause me. I called in to tell them about this. Never got an apology just I will let the owner know. Wow! I will not be calling them again. read more

Had Turner come out to replace a failing igniter (glowbar) in a Hotpoint gas oven. Job took about 15 minutes, tech didn't even bother turning off the electricity or gas to the unit first, and the total charge (part, service time, service charge, tax) was $257! What's worse, the replacement part failed after 4 months and I was told their "warranty" only covered the part itself (service charge only covered for 30 days, labor for 90 days, although the latter limit wasn't disclosed on my receipt). At these prices two repairs = new appliance. I won't be using this company again. If your appliance is more than a few years old I would recommend learning how to fix it yourself (there are lots of helpful videos on Youtube nowadays) or start shopping around for a new one. read more

Called to get fridge repaired...they replaced tiny relay and were done in under 5 minutes....charged me nearly $200 total. I was not given an estimate before work was completed (as I was told that I would get one over the phone when I initially called them). I found the part they replaced online for about $25, after the fact. They had charged me $73+ for it. I'd say $120 for 5 minutes labor, and nearly triple the cost of the part, is outrageous. My first "red flag" should have been when they couldn't give me a price for their hourly labor rate. Now I know why. I won't use them again. Why is it nearly impossible to find a repairman who won't screw you over? read more

The worst service ever! Technician came to check out my compact washer that was not spinning out completely; After he supposingly completed each test he told me that I needed a control panel and a pump at the sum of $536, I said you're kidding right he said I check the cycles and the pump and he believed that was the problem; What he didn't do was check the cold or hot water valves, one was bad at the sum of $67.00 + service call; I would suggest that no one call this business for help; If I had paid for a new control panel and a pump how would he had covered his track when the machine would have continued to do the same thing; Help people don't try to break them these are hard times for everybody. read more

Had a leak in refrigerator water line. I hired Turner appliances to replace refrigerator water line. Instead of replacing the entire water line, provider cut the water line where the leak was and installed a new fitting and connected refrigerator water line to the line from the house water supply. After work completion I contacted provider via email and phone about this and provider never bothered to respond. I did not pursue this further as refrigerator was functioning even though it was not fixed the way I asked for and what I paid for. About year later fitting on the refrigerator water line which was installed by Turner appliances came apart flooding the kitchen floor. I contacted Turner appliances several times about this issue and fix. I simply wanted turner to provide what I paid for. After several phone calls and emails Rick, the owner left me a voice mail about month a go stating that he has ordered a new tube for replacement. Since then I have contacted them several times via email and telephone about status of the tube but they have not bothered to respond to my email and on phone they keep telling me part is not in and they will schedule work when part comes in. If you want professional, quality, punctual service, turner is definitely not the one. read more

This place is a joke. I bought a washer and dryer set from them on May 3, 2014. When they came to deliver it on May 5 they brought me the wrong dryer. They brought me a gas instead of electric. So then two days later they finally brought me the right dryer and installed it. Used the washer once and it broke on me. The compartment where the detergent and softener goes wouldn't open. Then later that night the hose busted and flooded my house. When I called the 24/7 emergency line no one answered. I left message after message and didn't get a call until that Sunday. They said that they couldn't get anyone out until Monday. So on Monday they came out and replaced the hoses and fixed the compartment. Then 2 weeks later it breaks again. This time flooding worse than before. It flooded into my garage entry way living room and second bathroom. We called the emergency line once again and didn't hear anything from them that night. So they finally called at 9:30 2 hours after they had been opened and said they would send a tech out to fix it between 1:30 and 3:30. Once me and my fiancé talked it over we just wanted a refund so we called them and stated just come pick up the washer and dryer and give us our money back. She stated that the owner was on another call and that since the tech was already scheduled that he should just come and repair it. So the tech came out and while fixing my washer that I want to return he tore up my flooring in my laundry room and then broke the led screen and pushed the door to far it that it's hard to open and close. After the tech admitted to ruining my floor I went to the store demanding to talk to a supervisor and the guy was like they are gone for the day they won't be back until 8am tomorrow. So now I have to wait. This place is a joke don't use them they are just one bug run around. read more
