Heard from the warranty place that it was approved and asked if this company came back to repair. This place did not return call, did not return to repair as stated, did not refund money PAID TO THEM FOR THE REPAIRS THEY DID NOT COMPLETE AND THEY HAD THE OPPORTUNITY. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. Office staff was very rude, the gentleman that came out was nice and professional but did not return to repair issue which I do not feel was on him rather the office staff he reports to that failed to provide the customer service and ensure our repair was completed as PAID FOR.

After calling 2 other places on the south side - who not only couldn't send someone over that day, they couldn't send anyone the next day either - I fortunately called Affordable who said they could send a technician that same afternoon. They explained that the service fee would be $75 plus any parts and labor. Within 30 min I got a phone call from the technician, Andy, that he'd be there within 20 min. Andy was fantastic. So nice and helpful, taking the time to explain what was wrong (I'd forgotten to replace the link rack, so a dress belt had gone down there and was rolling around in the drum.) I also shared that the sensor was broken, and unless we did 'timed dry' for over an hour, our clothes were still damp. He said it likely wasn't broken, just needed to be cleaned. He was completely done fixing both problems with in 30 minutes! He told us the total came to $75; I asked if we needed to add more for labor and he said not to worry about it... I think he may have felt bad for this new mom with a broken dryer, newborn, and spazzy dog to content with! :) in any case, we were SO grateful for his efficiency, help, and understanding. He also offered that if our sensor stopped working again that we likely need to hire someone to clean our outside filter, which needs to happen every 5 or so years (and shared that Affordable doesn't offer this service anymore.) So just a fantastic experience overall, and Andy was an awesome technician. I would recommend to anyone!!! Love having small, local businesses do such great work. Keep it up!

Furthermore, the technician took all replaced parts from the premises without showing them to me or providing evidence of wear. 4) Time On-Site vs. Billed Amount: Security camera timestamps confirm the technician was inside my home for approximately 30 to 35 minutes total. I was handed a single lump-sum invoice for $365, with no line-item breakdown for parts versus labor. 5)Failure to Provide Itemization: Subtracting the high-end retail value of the minor replacement parts ($30-$60) and a standard trip fee ($125) leaves an effective labor charge of approximately $180 to $210 for ~30 minutes of basic hand-tool labor (an effective rate exceeding $360-$600/hour). I called Capitan Appliance after reading the great reviews left by other customers. Joe was the technician that responded and within a very short time my dishwasher was fixed. Joe was my hero that day. The repair cost was much less than replacing a $1,000 appliance. I really appreciate it when I get great service and I highly recommend you give them a try. I called All Appliance Parts and they had one in stock for $59. He said to bring in my old pump to test it. He said he didn't want to sell me something that I didn't need. He tested it right there and showed me the odd noise showing that the pump had failed. Not only did he have the right part, in stock, at the best price, he gave me a military discount on top of that.
