On I-25 in Longmont, I got a flat tire. When my husband went to change the tire, we discovered that the spare was flat, too. A kind passerby stopped and brought my husband to TDS. They filled the spare and checked it for leaks, without charge. When we were back on the road, we scrapped going to Fort Collins, due to time constraints. I wasn't comfortable driving back to Denver on the spare, so we decided to patronize TDS, since they helped us. We were lucky in that they had one tire in stock for my car, which we bought. We explained our time constraints and they worked quickly to rotate the tires, put the new one on, and put the spare in the trunk. These guys are so helpful and they added some good fortune to our otherwise crummy day. They are kind of out of the way for many people, but if you're in the area and you have tire-related needs, I suggest stopping in. Friendliness and a willingness to go the extra mile is hard to come by these days, so when I experience it, I want the whole world to know!

I felt sorry that I scuttled a service of this size for them. When presented with a total bill of $30, I countered with an offer of $50 which, of course was accepted. Owning a small business myself, I know what it means to be valued by a customer. -BUT- Rather than running $50 total on the credit card machine, I get a $1.75 service charge slapped on it as well. This once again reminded me that no good deed goes unpunished. Future business of mine will be going to any of their other competitors. Upper management should reacquaint the new location's personnel with the finer points of transactional etiquette.

All they had to do was just take the light out and put in a new one. They decided to take more than THREE hours. Which caused me to be late to work, even though i booked this appointment with extra time, just in case it took longer. So if it was barely busy, just a headlight i had a week ahead appointment and yet it took 3 hours to change?.. The thing that made me a little annoyed. was the fact that they charged me around $300 so double of what i had in mind. Definitely scamming situation. Later that week, I had to go to Grease monkey because not even a week in my headlight, went out completely. This was so frustrating because i know i overly paid, i even asked the workers at Grease monkey and they said it shouldn't even cost or take that much for the headlight it's self. I went back to them, they did see my car as soon as I told them what happened, which i respect. They said i would be looking at the same price once again. NO thank you! Do not come here unless you know your prices. I know they charged me a lot for labor, but you guys had at least 2 other people in the waiting room decent amount of workers, and yet they decided to charge me a huge amount for the "work" labor. He was absolutely right! I've been prepping my car for winter with various maintenance tasks, including an alignment that my mechanic had done at this Longmont store. The final step was new tires ("new shoes" for the car!). Unfortunately, this location didn't have the ones I wanted in stock, but Loveland did. I purchased and had them installed there--only to discover they were mounted improperly, poorly balanced, and I received little information about the tire or wheel condition before being sent on my way. Frustrated, I called my mechanic, who immediately suggested bringing it to the Longmont store. I spoke with Tyler over the phone--he had an incredibly positive attitude and told me to come in, even as late as an hour before closing (which felt especially generous for a busy shop). There were a few initial hiccups, but the team was genuinely committed to diagnosing and resolving the issue at no charge. They rebalanced the tires, and Tyler showed me firsthand (with photos and video from the balancing machine) that my wheels required an excessive amount of weights--and even then, they were hopping due to severe bends and warping. He honestly explained the wheels were in bad shape, recommended reputable places to buy replacements, and even offered to order them for me. To make up for the earlier frustrations, he promised free installation on the new wheels. I took the car home with properly balanced tires, but the ride was still rough due to those damaged wheels. After some research, I ordered new ones online from a different site. I checked with Tyler about the brand and seller's reputation--he confirmed they were solid. Delivery was lightning-fast (arrived the next day), and I brought them in the following day. Tyler and his team knocked it out quickly: swapped the rims, installed all new hardware, balanced everything perfectly, and had me on my way. They even advised me to return for a free re-torque of the lug nuts (to ensure proper seating) and a balance check after 100 miles or so of driving--which I did, and the car drove smoother than ever. Overall, an outstanding experience at the Longmont Big O Tires on S Main St! Tyler and his crew prioritize doing the job right the first time, take full accountability if something goes wrong, and go above and beyond to make it right. They got me right in with very little wait. Steve ground off all the rough, rusty obstructions and got my tire to seal without a leak (so far anyway). Then when I asked Steve how much I owed him, he said not a penny. I couldn't let this kindhearted man work for free so I forced $20 in his hand. I'm very pleased with my visit. I have found myself a new tire and alignment shop. A pleasure doing business with Steve and Darrell. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed!

Steve adopted his mischievous mixed golden lab dog from the Fort Morgan Humane Society. That crazy, but adorable pup is Macy. So, when the Fort Morgan Humane Society was offered a free, but not-working van to transport dogs and cats, he offered to fix the van for free. Truly amazing! There were many mechanical issues with the van and it seemed as he repaired one problem another problem would pop up since the van was a 2013 Ford that was sitting in a parking lot for several years. He fixed everything! Now the Fort Morgan Humane Society has a "new" van to transport dogs and cats to the vet or to Front Range humane societies to help them find a new home when our shelter is full. This is invaluable for us. We are a small, rural, and always poor, humane society on the Eastern Plains of Colorado. Steve, we are indebted to you! Thank you, thank you, and thank you! Woof!
