I am giving the Turning Point one star for extremely bad service! You should be approached by a waitress after being seated. AT least you should be acknowledged by one. We sat for fifteen minutes and nothing! It was not busy at all. Only a few tables were occupied. We had been seated politely by a hostess, but no waitress ever came to our table, We left and went to another restaurant. There are a thousand of them in the Blue Bell, PA area. I hope that The Turning Point is aware of that! We are not going back. read more

Pros: Good Service, nice atmosphere, and clean. Cons: The food was not fresh- bagged potatoes and pathetic veggies on my Eggs Benedeto. Based on the menu and their motto "Sometimes its good to be fresh," I expected fresh food. If you don't feel like paying $5.50-$10 for a french press coffee you can get this watered down pot of coffee which will still run you $2.50. Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience at Turning Point. read more

The food is very good. I enjoy the service, at times it could be better but when it's busy you have to understand the servers can't spend as much time at each table. My daughter and I really enjoy coming here, to me it's a real nice addition to the Blue Bell area. read more

I have ordered there 4 times and everytime they have missed something, forgot something or got the order wrong. I even got a gift card because of it. Today I ordered again just for convenience. I walked in and it was busy so I knew I might have to wait. I told the desk I was there for pick up (seeing the bag behind her so I thought it would be quick) I told her my name and she said it will be ready in a few minutes. I waited five minutes and out of curiosity I just asked if that bag happened to be mine. She said what did you get, I told her.. the bag sitting there WAS mine. I checked to see if everything was there and i saw I was missing a set of pancakes. The waitress told me she only heard one on the phone which is fine.. missed communication but everytime it is SOMETHING. I just went to breakfast with my family for my birthday and it was very disappointing at to start my day. First off all some of our order was wrong. When we got our food it was cold and the cheese on the skillet I got was hard as a rock and gross. They heated it up for me and when I got it back the avocado was brown and the eggs were rubbery. I was not the only person who's food was cold. Also, the three tables around us had issues with there orders as well. Whoever the cook is is not good at there job. The breakfast was really good, kids loved the Belgium Waffle, I had the Huevos rancheros, really tasty...and I lived in Colorado for 16 years...I know my Huevos rancheros..most importantly was the staff was incredibly professional and attentive. Came here this morning to celebrate a birthday. After we put our orders in, our waiter was nowhere to be seen, which was particularly frustrating given our unsatisfactory experience. We ordered an egg white omelette, but received regular eggs. We ordered a side of bacon, which was never brought to the table. We had "toast", which was literally just plain slices of bread straight from the bag. Once again, all of these were small things that could have been easily corrected, but since our waiter never bothered to check up on us, we just dealt with the subpar breakfast. We have been here a couple of times now. Both times it seemed they didn't have enough waitstaff on I order to execute. Food is good but sometimes a little disappointing. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and I am confused why they put an uncooked tortilla on the bottom of the bowl. Food took a long time to be served both times we were in. My wife had the Chicken & Waffles and the Chicken is simply frozen chicken fingers. At the price point they are selling it for it should be fresh. I absolutely love the decor. read more

I used to really love the food here and I'm incredibly disappointed in the decline in quality. I ordered delivery and they ignored every request I put. Well done potatoes (they were not even cooked through.) and they gave no syrup to go with the French toast. They cared at the beginning of the pandemic and then just completely gave up. The service was okay. Tried the Wilbur skillet and it was nothing special. The potatoes were undercooked significantly. Others at my table had the shrimp bowl and quinoa bowl which looked delicious. I love this place!! The staff is always so friendly, the wait is never very long, even on a sunday morning and the food is so good! Everything is so clean and the prices are really reasonable. Came today about 11:45. Waited for a seat although there were more than 5 open tables. Finally sat down to a table where we had to ask for glasses for our water, had to ask for silverware and napkins, plates were delivered with sub par food on hot plates that must have been sitting under the heating lights. I've been to this restaurant before and the food is incredible. Today, I was bitterly disappointed in the level of service. My food did not arrive until an hour after we sat down and ordered. When I first asked the waiter why the delay, he replied that the cooks were very busy today. a few minutes later, he came back offered to provide us with a fruit plate while we waited. 15 minutes later, he comes back to the table and tells us that he has to re-take our orders. He explained that the computer crashed and our orders had disappeared. We wait for another 20 minutes before the food comes out. At the end of a frustrating and long overdue breakfast, he gives us the check. I had assumed that as a matter of "good business" practice, he would at the very least not charge us for at least one of the three breakfast. Instead, not a dime was deducted. I asked him about this and he said he would talk to his manager. A minute later, he came back, left the check on the table with $ 3.00 deducted from the bill. So, all in all, I got a free cup of coffee out of the incredibly bad and inconvenient service. I won't be going back to that Turning Point again. They didn't treat this customer and my family well. read more

I thought I already had a go-to diner in Blue Bell but this may be my new one! My friend and I went to breakfast a few days ago and everything down to the service was excellent. We were greeted very kindly and promptly at the door by Tim, who also ended up being our server. No alcohol served here but not to worry, their specialty drink selection is lengthy and creative! For my meal I had the Wilbur Skillet - absolutely delicious. The potatoes were soft and seasoned very well, the avocados were perfectly ripe and my egg was cooked just as requested. Although there was a crowd, the volume of the restaurant was peaceful with a small buzz, just soft enough to hear your own company. The manager came to the table to ask about our experience, which I always appreciate. Tim was timely and made sure we were cared for properly. read more

The service here is comically bad. It's a bunch of kids who have no idea what they're doing at all. This is going to be about my most recent experience at turning point (in early April, I just have not yet posted this review). The funny thing is that I had a coupon that I received after a horrible incident I had previously. The food is good and the menu is excellent so why not give not give it another shot? Well, it really is a shame. Not only did we have to wait inordinate amounts of time for our waitress to even take our drink orders let alone receive our drinks and food, but she was just overall inattentive. Also I heard all the waitresses and waiters (just the people at the front of the restaurant) using words like "fuck" and calling each other "retarded" at full volume with seemingly no care that they were in a professional setting. For reference, me and these people are probably the same age. I cannot comprehend how any person at any age would think that that's acceptable. Perhaps there was an intelligence issue but even 8 year olds should understand that that's rude. I sat there in shock. Also we ordered avocado toast and a sandwich with tortilla chips on the side. When I say that the avocado toast looked like they took 1/5 of an avocado and smeared it on a piece of toast I am not exaggerating in the slightest. The avocado actually looked transparent. I always order this at turning point north wales and have never had this problem. I wish I had a photo. Fortunately, I have a picture of the tortilla chips I was served, the quality and quantity of which was ridiculous. Did they literally just stick their grimy hands into the bottom of the bag and throw this on my plate instead of opening up a new bag? My family owns a restaurant and this is just so appalling. Where is the restaurant manager? The kitchen manager? How do you not see how laughably bad your staff is? Fix it. It's such a shame because the menu is great, the food is good, the outdoor seating is nice, and the restaurant itself is nice. Till the glaring customer service problems are fixed, I'll stick with Turning Point North Wales. read more

I live in Blue Bell and want to like this location but it has its problems. I was hoping they would fix them by now but just had breakfast there today and it wasn't good. Service is so slow!!!! Sat down right away but had to wait for waitress who came to our table and asked what we wanted. How bout coffee first! Seems like common sense to me. My husband had blueberry pancakes which were burnt and dried out. Think they sat under a lamp for a while. I had eggs over medium but were more like over cooked. Then had to wait for our check. Breakfast should never take so long for two people. An hour and half for bad food. Please please train your staff better and get more help!!! read more
