Cute little spot to grab brunch with the family. We called ahead to make a reservation but they don't take reservations- put they will put your name on a list. So we did. Showed up at quarter till 11 and had a table. Confusing but it worked. Side note- it's so bright in here. White walls, tons of windows, etc. NOT good if you're hungover. Just a little FYI. I had the Kona coffee french press which was very nice- it came with a wee timer and everything. For breakfast I ordered the benedict which came with home style potatoes and a small cup of fruit. The eggs were cooked well and the hollandaise was lemony. I also snagged a bite of my hubby's bandido burrito which was flavorful and the veggies still had a nice crunch. My brother ordered the Santa Fe salad and it was HUGE. The tortilla is was piled into was burnt though. Another diner ordered the pesto egg white skillet and hers looked light and colorful. First, I love turning point. I have always gone to the Marlton one and enjoyed it thoroughly. I was in the area and decided to check out the cherry hill location for breakfast. First the wait was 15 minutes which is fine but when you see empty tables, it had me questioned. Then I saw the waitresses busing the tables. There was a table with just dirty dishes on them for more that 15 minutes. There was too much for them to do. They host, wait, bus tables. That wasn't fair to them nor fair to the customers waiting either. It seemed really unorganized and honestly, wasn't impressed with my food here. I always get the same thing when I go to turning point and it was not that good. Always usually so carefully and put together nicely. It seemed rushed on my plate. This is my go-to spot for brunch with mom & any other family members. We first discovered it in North Jersey while visiting family over the holidays and were soo excited when they expanded to Cherry Hill. We love the fresh breakfast options that don't taste like pre-made microwaved food. Her favorites include the lobster quesadillas, which have huge chunks of lobsters, fresh veggies and salsa. My health-buff cousin is a fan because they have a whole section for healthy options (think egg whites, fresh fruit, whole grains). Even the beverages here are great, especially the coffee and seasonal tea options! The service is always friendly, though some weekends have a long wait. Come in the summertime to sit outside on the cute terrace (makes you wish for a better view in Cherry Hill). read more

I liked the variety of coffee and tea. The french press for the coffee is nice as well, and I liked that it was a stronger flavored coffee. Though I didn't like that the tea was labeled as loose leaf tea, but came in tea bags, a minor gripe... but a gripe. I ordered the Big Easy Benedict. It came with fried onions, avocado, chorizo and cajun hollandaise. It was very good, but the egg was a little over cooked for my liking. The dish was otherwise well thought out, the flavors went well together, and I like that it comes with a fruit cup (all the fruit was juicy). The potatoes were a little soft for my taste, but my romantic associate likes them like that. She ordered one of the skillets, which I was less impressed with than my Benedict. It just seemed sort of plan in comparison. The pesto infused skillet looked interesting, I'd like to see some of that pesto make it's way onto some of the other dishes. The server forgot our order, so it look us a little while to get our food. They compensated us with some chips and salsa, maybe something else as well. I have been to the one in Marlton, This location just closer for me. Met up up with girlfriend & daughter, well-needed girls brunch & it was Yummy!!!. With call -ahead seating, didn't wait more then 5- minutes, while lines were long inside.Packed!! . We ordered eggs Benedict, I got crunchy waffle, with granola, fresh strawberries* banana, gave me strawberry compote & syrup, Awesome!! .The crunch factor & of course French press coffee!!. 3.5 stars total. If you're used to Philly brunch this is not going to be entirely comparable. However, other than diners this is a great breakfast choice in the area. You may need to wait 10-15 minutes for a table on Saturday and Sunday. There is outdoor seating available for when the weather is nice. The coffee menu is amazing. This is the only restaurant that I know of (other than coffee houses) that brings a French press to your table. Variety of beans including Costa Rican, Hawaiian, and Jamaican. Gourmet iced coffee with coffee iced cubes- hell yes! Plus refills free to go. The menu is simple focusing on eggs, hot cakes, and sandwiches. Nothing has totally blown me away but the food is good and fresh. Random sidenote obsessed with the red pepper soup. Definitely one of my to go to breakfast spots in south Jersey - recommend. read more

Went there this morning for breakfast. I ordered the Avocado smash Benny. Received my Benny and it was over done, eggs yokes were not runny and semi hard, the Hollandaise sauce was not hot and the potatoes were cold also. I told the waitress about the eggs and she didn't seem concerned. I know that they may be short staffed but this is not how to serve a meal. Visited recently with my mom for breakfast. Ordered over medium eggs. They arrived very runny - could not eat them. Sent back and then received extremely over cooked eggs. By this time, I lost my appetite. The staff was helpful and comped our entire meal plus gave me a free voucher for 2 more meals to return. That was very nice, but I would have loved the eggs cooked properly to begin with. This was not my first bad egg experience, however, it was the first time I had to send them back. I mean, it's a breakfast place - learn how to cook eggs. I did return with my husband. I ordered lunch this time. My salad was super. I mean really good. We adore this place, having fallen in love with the menu at the Marlton location of the chain. This place takes it to the next level with exceptional service. Yes, you will likely have to wait here during prime hours but it is worth it. Also you can call ahead and seating at the counter is first come, first serve. After hearing about this place for a while, I went late-morning in January. I decided on a pretty basic breakfast of coffee and the Wilbur skillet. The skillet was so good - it was very flavorful and the portion was really generous. I wanted to try one of the specialty hot chocolates, but I was too full after my breakfast. When I refilled my coffee before leaving, the waiter asked if I wanted a to-go cup so that I could take it with me. So nice! Besides that, the waitstaff was really friendly and accommodating, which was really great. There was so much on the menu that I wanted to try (Lobster eggs benedict? Well...i was sooo disappointed. First of all we waited over 20 minutes for pancakes and an egg skillet.the skillet was not anywhere near hot.and it was the wrong one.our server brought us a fruit dish to makeup for the wait.the honeydew was hard and bitter.not sweet at all.the pineapple was extremely sour. The coffee was great,but i think liquid sugar is better in ice coffee. The silverwear looked well used.wierd considering it hasnt been opened that long. My husband and I received a gift card for Christmas to The Turning Point. We were excited to try a new place. I love breakfast, so I couldn't wait to try it! I ordered the huevos rancheros, which I have had at another local diner, and this blew it out of the water. The flavors were great; not too overpowering. The avocados, beans and potatoes are the perfect combination with the saltiness and heat of the peppers, sausage and seasonings. I got 2-3 meals out of this, it was a big portion. It was just as good as left overs :-) I also ordered a chai iced latte which was really great too. My husband ordered french toast. He isn't as bif of a breakfast person, but he loved this. He ordered it again when we went back to The Turning Point a second time. The atmosphere is refreshing. If you go on a weekday or very early on the weekend it is a quiet setting - a nice way to start the day. We will definitely be going back! read more

For a small place it was pretty busy but we got seated right away . Waitress took our ordered and the food took quite some times before it even came out . I ordered the big easy Benedict . It was okay I didn't like it too much . I'm not much of a cornbread person but I wanted to give it a try . My boyfriend ordered the lobster Benedict and said there weren't barely any lobster meat in it . My only favorite thing was my s'mores hot chocolate . The only thing I actually enjoyed . One of my favorite spots for breakfast! Servers are all great and friendly as well as the hostess! The food is awesome! I love sitting in the big room opposed to the carpeted area. The carpet room is dark where the big room has the windows and makes the experience a more happy feeling! The only downfall is the wait sometimes, but it goes by pretty fast and the parking! This is the cutest little breakfast spot i've ever been to! my boyfriend has been here multiple times but this was my first. Ryan was our server at the bar, and he took great care of us. We were only here for about 40 minutes start to finish, we came in at the perfect time. The decorations in here are adorable, and it's a really clean place! He got poached eggs and cornbread, and i got a western omelette. we shared the fruit bruschetta. everything was really fresh, and the omelette was perfect!! we also got french pressed Jamaican coffee (served with rock sugar sticks, so cute!!), which was incredible. everything was perfect down to the utensils. i think this is our new spot for brunch read more

I did not indulge but there was a plethora of morning beverages to choose from. We went on a weekday morning so there was no wait at all. Our waitress was very prompt and attentive. The Turning Point wasn't really anything special, but it wasn't bad. Just your basic breakfast items at a higher Cherry Hill price. The menu wasn't as vast as some of the other diners in the area, but we found something we both liked. My wife went with the pancakes while I went with the breakfast skillet. The skillet was pretty good, but again pretty simple. As for the pancakes, I thought they were ok, but a bit undercooked and chewy. Service and food delivery was a little slow, but I think they just got hit with a big breakfast rush. Parking is simple in the strip mall parking lot. read more

Only 3 stars because the wait was incredibly long for brunch. We put our name in, went to Kohls to do some shopping, and came back and still had to wait 15 more minutes. It was Sunday brunch so I understand why it would be busy but it was a bit much. The menu selection was out of this world. Love all the different waffles, pancakes, French toasts, and egg options. Not to mention the fancy hot chocolates and coffee. The portions are large...but not too large to finish Wait staff could use some help.
