This is a wonderful spot for breakfast or brunch in uptown Hoboken!! We came here on a Saturday morning and were seated about 10minutes after arrival. The inside is so cute and well themed, plus, the view is amazing! Our waitress was really helpful and funny, making sure we ordered the right items and answering all our questions. I got the vegan pancakes and the Turning Point french press coffee. Both were excellent and I was even allowed to take my leftover coffee home in a to-go cup.

Came here a few months back without a reservation on Veteran's Day and they were so accommodating and patient. We only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table, and the service was also great and our server was very attentive! We shared a wilbur skillet, cinnamon rolls, and chicken and waffles are were stuffed to the brim! The food was tasty and worth the price! I think Turning Point is a reliable and fun brunch spot without a doubt and I'm already looking forward to coming back here soon! Thank you!

Celebrated my best friend's birthday here for brunch. Had a great experience. Little bit of a wait even with reservations, but the service was good once seated. We ordered shareable cinnamon buns for the table (I asked them to customize them for my friend's announcement). They did amazing! I had a smoked eggs benedict and it was fantastic. The iced coffee with coconut cold foam was unreal. The interiors of the place is cute and loads of natural light with an amazing view! Can't wait to return back!

Always come here for brunch. Great views and value for what you pay for. It was a coz and laid back spot to catch up. The food is as always really good, have savory brunch entrees and the portions are generous. Service was friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. I'll try their pancakes next time as it's been a while since I had em here.

Great breakfast place with skyline view of Newyork. It's very crowded place and service is slow . We took pancakes and Avocado toast which took almost 30 minutes to come. Good was good and view are amazing . I would just go for breakfast with view.

Everything is mediocre and expected but the waiting time on Sunday is just insane. It took us 60+ minutes in the line and some 20 minutes before we got the food. Good thing you can go outside and get walk along the waterfront with a good weather. Otherwise I would not stop by to wait for infinity. It's crowded and very noisy inside too.

The food was quite okay for the price of the items on the menu! also the beach house vibe indoors works really well. Although I was disappointed that the cold pressed carrot juice wasn't freshly made as I had hoped and was just bottled drink :( The person who served us was very friendly and would highly recommend this place for a cheap brunch :)

Turning point is such a fun breakfast diner! I heard there can be a wait to be seated, but we called ahead and we barely had to wait at all when we arrived. The menu has so many options. It was really hard to choose. I went with the breakfast combo so I could have a little bit of everything. And I upgraded my pancakes to get the cinnamon roll pancakes (yum!). The eggs and bacon were standard. The potatoes were not my favorite but everyone else loved them. The pancakes really won me over because they were delicious and unique! They tasted just like a cinnamon bun. The lattes we ordered were HUGE, just FYI. The French press coffee is yummy but expensive. We did take to-go cups for the coffee we couldn't finish. This was a pleasant experience. It was nice to see the water front view during breakfast. The waiter was friendly and prompt. In conclusion, I would come back again.

This was a far more delicious breakfast than we expected. It was a nice walk along the water from our hotel. Food was super good. Very clean and warm and great service. We had to wait a bit for a table but if you get up early you should be fine. My vanilla dirty chai was also perfect. Great views of the water NYC from most tables.

Turning Point has been a brunch favorite of mine with a large selection of hearty home staples. While I've never frequented the Hoboken location until recently, I felt that the overall experience left a lot to be desired. *AMBIANCE* The decor here is consistent with how the other locations are decorated and feels like you've arrived at the Jersey Shore. They have an online waitlist function which is convenient if you are coming here with a large party on a weekend. This restaurant is on the waterfront and is great for looking at the NYC skyline over the Hudson. *FOOD* The cold brew here is great and comes in a large jug. I like how you can opt for the sweet cold foam which they give to you on the side. At other locations, I've always loved the skillets and decided to order a Wilbur Skillet here, but must say the food at this location is disappointing and not fresh. My dish tasted average, which came with ROTTEN avocados that looked like they were intentionally hidden in the dish. There were questionable black moldy spots... *SERVICE* Our waitress was friendly, but on weekends, it's hard to get attentive service since the place is packed. Overall, if you want fresh food, skip this location as there are much better brunch spots within the area.

The food was delicious! There is so much variety in coffees and food. It is not very expensive and the view is beautiful. You can see the skyline from the restaurant. There was a long wait but the food was worth it. The service was great.

    Delicious eggs!

I had a fantastic breakfast at TP Hoboken! Chay was our server and he was so nice and polite! He was extra attentive to my baby's food allergies. He brought her food out first and then ours. Our food was fresh and great. We also did not have to wait long. The food was delicious as well. He also checked in on us to make sure everything was okay. I will be back!

There was only one other family dining, and the space stayed empty the entire time. The service was genuinely great. Friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, and a really cute, cozy space. I especially loved the Christmas décor and overall vibe--it felt warm and inviting. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to the prices. The house salad was $13 and honestly one of the most basic, smallest, and most boring salads I've ever had--very underwhelming for the cost. We also ordered quesadillas, a cheeseburger with fries, and grilled cheese with tomato soup. My son enjoyed the burger and fries, and the quesadillas were flavorful, generously filled with chicken and veggies, and came with sour cream, pico, and guac. The tomato soup was tasty, while the grilled cheese was just okay. One small but appreciated detail: canned soda. Cold, crisp, and not flat which is always a win. Lunch for 3 came in just under $100, which felt high given what we received. One frustration was being seated in a tight corner right next to the kitchen even though the dining room was completely empty. We were so close I could literally see into the kitchen and count items on the shelves. On top of that, the hostess repeatedly walked by calling out "corner," which became distracting and honestly a bit irritating. Overall, I liked the vibe, but the food-to-price ratio missed the mark for me. It wasn't bad--just alright.

Since my last visit, I had only ventured there once for a drink, but it had been far from a first choice. I loved that they had live music and a casual vibe, but my past culinary experience had been a letdown. However, I was very pleasantly surprised on my recent excursion. We grabbed seats at the rustic bar and enjoyed friendly service and pints of Kane Head High, my favorite beer. The crisp, refreshing brew went well with my cup of Chicken Noodle Soup. While that might sound like an odd "snack", I selected it because it was one of the few appetizers on the menu that was not fried. The broth seemed to interestingly be made of tomatoes and potentially other vegetables. It was packed with large, spiral noodles, shredded chicken, and fresh spinach. It was an interesting rendition for sure, but it was also very tasty, despite the fact that it was rather greasy. I was also bummed that it did not have more chicken and that it had not been served with any crackers. Oh well! Overall, it at least had left me with a much better impression than my last trip had.

We were there as happy hour ended, so perhaps it was a happy hour thing, but was left with the impression they were a tiny pour establishment. Had heard that their crispy cauliflower nuggets were a specialty, so gave them a try. Very pleasant. Light breading, good crunch, great flavor. Recommend, and would be surprised if we ever came and didn't order. Split a house salad. Good and plenty to share. Just a bit inconvenient to try to split at the table on to small plates. No fresh utensils between courses. Wait person just moved the forks and knifes off the plates back onto the table as they removed the empty plates. Something I've always found off putting and cheap at what otherwise seems a nice restaurant. Wife got the steak frites, which was clearly the best dinner choice. Nice sized piece of well charred hangar steak with a good pile of wonderfully crispy fries. I got the sausage fusilli calabrese. Some chunks of really tasty house made sausage. The pasta appeared to be house made as well; long strands though without the usual fusilli curliness. Honestly, they tasted fine, but looked very much like a bowl of pasta earthworms. If the pasta shape is adjusted, I might recommend or order again. A nice comfortable place with a few opportunities for improvement.

The space was not large, but they really made the most of it, offering a decent number of tables with reasonable space between them. My friend and I were quickly seated and immediately greeted by a charming server that opened our bottle of wine (it's BYO) and offered us still or sparkling water. I had read in other reviews that you had to pay for water, so I was not surprised by the $6 bottle of Saratoga that wound up on our bill. In addition to our engaging server and the happening atmosphere, the food was similarly incredible. We decided to order a load of things to share, so that we could try a greater variety. We started with two appetizers that were seasonal Spring additions to the menu. The Hamachi Crudo included five thickly-sliced, tender pieces of Japanese yellowtail sitting in a broth of rhubarb aguachile and topped with white strawberries and basil seeds. It was an unique blend that we would not have expected to work, but boy was it delicious! The sweet toppings infused a load of flavor into an otherwise mild fish. We also enjoyed the Fava-mole, a creamy puree of fava beans studded with balls of hand-pulled mozzarella and pea tendrils, all drizzled with zesty ramp oil. I had not been sure what to expect from the dish, but it offered fresh, bright garden flavors. We also decided to share a pasta course and an entree. The Fettuccini was tossed with spring truffles and maitakes in a light, yet heavily aromatic, wild mushroom cream sauce. It was one of the best dishes I had had in quite some time. Then, as we were waiting on our seafood entree, we received a second pasta, courtesy of the Chef. I had mentioned that I had heard rave reviews about Flour from a server at Heirloom Kitchen, a top NJ restaurant. Apparently, our waiter had let the Chef know about that glowing praise, and the kitchen further verified that positivity with the generous gesture. In fact, they wound up sending out the Linguine with white clam sauce, razor clams, and wild ramps, the other dish about which I had been most curious anyway. Well, it was another winner! It was garlicky, herbaceous, and rich with flavors of the sea. Speaking of seafood, we next received the Branzino 'Bahn mi', a perfectly cooked piece of Mediterranean sea bass with Vietnamese sausage and pickled vegetables. The branzino's crispy skin and flaky, moist interior were excellent, and we loved all of the other smoky and briny flavors on the plate. After all of that excellent food, we would have loved to try one of their appealing desserts, but we were just too full. Between the ambiance, welcoming vibe, and delicious cuisine, our Flour experience was simply divine! It has now became one of my favorite restaurants in the area, and I cannot wait to try their pizza at some point as well.

We ended the night with the s'mores dessert, which was rich and chocolatey. Also, the fact that the restaurant is BYOB is a huge plus! The only downside was that I lost an item during our visit. I had a really hard time finding their contact information online, so I had to go back in person to ask about it, which was a bit annoying. Ultimately, they weren't able to recover it, but the food itself was still outstanding.
