Place & food was amazing. The place was busy but the waiter ( Fred ) was still attentive and cared about the service being provided. Part of my order accidentally got messed up but the manager and the waiter did all they could to make it better. My friend recommended this place for brunch, so we all decided to check it out. We went in Father's Day so there was quite a wait. We were able to check in through Yelp and see where we were on the waiting list which I thought was pretty cool. The wait time was also accurate. The staff there are all very friendly people and super polite. I ordered the basic skillet. The portion didn't look very big, but when you start eating it-- it's actually a lot and very filling. It was just regular eggs, blend of different cheeses, potato, and a toasted English muffin on the side. I personally really liked it because it was nice and simple for a great price; I would order again. Overall I thought this place was very delicious. Although I do enjoy getting an omelette from time to time, my favorite dish was the chicken and waffles. The gravy that came with the dish was delicious and the reason that I would come in for breakfast/brunch. So I was very disappointed to come in this past weekend to see that they changed the chicken and waffles dish to now have a sriracha honey sauce. Nothing else on the menu will really make me want to return now. read more

I would definitely get this again especially when I want a big sweet breakfast. Lemon Blueberry Pancakes - wouldn't get again. Too dry. You have to ask for butter, your breakfast won't come with it. Not going to lie was a bit nervous about this place at 1st but I'm glad we went. I took my kids for breakfast and we all got waffles (cause that's what they like) , the server Michael I hope that I spelled it right was amazing. Manager never called me back after I spoke to him about it. They let their employees steal and will not do anything about it. Beware of this place! Just got back from going here for a birthday brunch for my friend. It was absolutely delicious!! My 4/5 stars was solely for the wait time. I really really wish this place did reservations!! I joined a "waitlist" and was suppose to check in at 11:04. That got moved to 11:21 which was fine. We sat in the car and waited. We got inside and were told to wait for our table (Yelp said we'd be seated by 11:36). We saw multiple people leave but still weren't seated. There was someone in front of us in line and it seemed like we didn't get seated until they did (we were a party of 2 and they were 4). We didn't get seated until 11:45 so the wait was a bit rough but the food made up for it! Our waitress was super nice and gave us plenty of time to decide. I got the peppermint hot chocolate and my friend got the campfire latte. We ordered the flight of pancakes to share. We got berry chocolate, cinnamon roll, and lemon blueberry. All of them were delicious and we didn't even end up finishing them because they were huge! The one thing that was a bit difficult was that they brought out our entrees right after the pancakes. There was no room for anyrhing and we didn't know what to eat first. I wish they would've waited until after the pancakes! I got the popeyes skillet and my friend got the wilbur and we both got over easy eggs. They were DELICIOUS! The mushrooms and potatoes and eggs had such amazing flavor and the sour cream made it! My friend loved the wilbur skillet and ended up bringing some home because it was a huge portion as well! All of it was so delicious and I loved the English muffin on the side! Loved this place from the friendly service, to the decor + cleanliness, to the unique dishes! The iced chai was absolutely delicious, honestly one of the best chai lattes I've ever had. The XXL bacon was also incredibly tasty. Apparently they ran out of bacon so they couldn't bring us a full order and they put it on the house. I felt like the order was plenty as an app and it was very kind of them to give it for free. The cornbread with the eggs benedict was decent and my husband finished his whole big order of chicken and waffles. The only downside was the potatoes. They were so bland. Me and my wife showed up on January 2nd at 10:00 am. Was told 10-20 minute wait. After waiting 50 mins, I went to the hostess. She said they texted at 10:26. While the prices are high, it seemed convenient when I was in the area, so I placed a phone call on my cellular telephone. Someone answered and placed me on hold (did not warn that they were busy or anything of that sort). Took our two toddlers here for brunch last week and the staff was amazing. Food came out quick and delicious, kids were happy, but the staff was the best part. Everyone seemed so pleasant and friendly and like they genuinely cared about how our experience was. They go the extra mile at this location. I really want to give this place 4 stars, but we're just not there yet. With a friend in town, we need some breakfast/ brunch and sooner rather than later. I know TPM always has a wait list on the weekends, so thru Yelp I 'checked in'. I thought this was a brilliant idea and would make everything go a bit more smoothly. Wrong. I checked in at 11 am. I was told to arrive by 11:40, so a 40 minute wait, not terrible. We left the house and arrived by 11:30 and made sure my name was on the list. We didn't get sat til around 12:30. That's an hour & half AFTER I checked in. I was hangry at this point. Hoards of people were waiting and it got to a point where my friend was like, we're on the list correct?? After that statement we were sat quickly. Our server was kind and was quick to offer their member card to get points and credits.. I don't know, I didn't want it and she finally just left the brochure on the table. We got our drinks, large orange juice for me, coffee for Holly. There was an appetizer that Holly saw, I didn't read the description, I think I saw bacon, lollipop and those were the only words. What came out was nuts. Honestly it was like the Chef had a 5yr in the kitchen and was like, what would you like to make today!? You take bacon, make it crispy, but then wrap it around mushy cooked apples and you get gross. Main entrees were delicious as always. The Wilbur skillet is hearty and very tasty, I had it with poached eggs this time. Holly got the NY deli omelette and it was pretty awesome with the pastrami, swiss & caramelized onions. Great flavor profiles on both. The decor is super cute, the bathroom is located allllll the way in the back of the restaurant, and they have tiny cups of cheerios for kids waiting to be sat. Today I had the chance to visit The Turning Point of Marlton to redo a review as my first experience wasn't 5 star. But today was a great second chance & Im glad that I went ahead and came back. Heat was working all over today. I was sat all the way in a more private & cozy area away from tons of noise, foot traffic, and etc. Wait time was calculated to the T & we were notified when the tAble was ready & sat quickly. FOOD PANCAKE FLIGHT (Blueberry Lemon, Cinnamon swirl, and Bourbon) -- i totally jacked those names but it's ok those words are in the names I promise. This was a pretty good flight of pancakes. My least fave was the blueberry, but I got that one for my granny. The FAVE was Cinnamon swirl bc who doesn't like cream cheese icing swirl. It was tasty. But bourbon is a Close second. BIG EASY BENEDICT This was pretty okay. I like the chicken chorizo & cornbread that was in there! Also the sauce was tasty. I wasn't a true fan of the potatoes bc I think sweet potatoes would've made this pop even more. Maybe they could substitute. I thought it said sweet potato but it didn't. I think this seemed just okay bc the pancakes stole my heart first. This is a good portion size meal. But it's more of savory. No sweet. But I'm telling you, the creole hollandaise sauce was really good. No lies. DRINK: vanilla chai tea latte. I like the fact that you get a good amount for your dollar. I got two cups out of it bc they give you a little kettle of it and a cup already ready. So shout out to that! The drink was pretty sweet and not too frothy. Just the right amount of spices for a premade powder mix. Water is added to this mix. One added touch was the stores general manager whose name has evaded me at this moment. She was great. She came to check as she knew I was coming back after a bleak first experience. She didn't seem like she was putting on a front or going out of the way to impress. She was genuine & generally cared that we had a great experience. She stayed and chatted for a bit which we didnt mind. We got to learn about how she made her way from server to GM and how she has built lasting bonds With customers over the last 7 years she's been there. That's awesome. Came here with a friend for a bite to eat. We waited about 20 mins to sit down. There's no wait to sit at the counter, but that's a first come, first serve area. It's a cozy little restaurant with tables both inside and outside. Each table gets their own pitcher of water, which if you drink a lot of water is very beneficial because you don't have to wait for a server or bus-boy to refill your glass. They serve breakfast items and lunch items here. Different types of coffee drinks, smoothies, teas, etc are also available. My friend and I shared the avocado toast appetizer. It was two slices of bread cut into triangles with avocado, tomatoes, and sea salt on top. It was delicious! As I write this review I really want another bite! Mmm! For my entree I went with zucchini "zoodles" spaghetti. It had zucchini, artichoke hearts, mushrooms, red peppers, a little Parmesan cheese tossed in a pesto reduction. It was very light, tasty, and very fresh. The portion size was big. My friend went with a breakfast dish. She got Acai Crepes. It was a special of the day. The acai was drizzled on top. Inside the crepes were bananas, blueberries and strawberries. She didn't mention how it tasted, but she ate the whole thing! So...I'm pretty sure she enjoyed it! FOOD: Turning Point has a lot of great options for breakfast foods: eggs, pancakes, etc. Portions are very generous so you won't be hungry afterwards. I personally love the grande huevos rancheros, but their flight of pancakes was great to try a couple of different flavors! AMBIANCE: Very homey! My boyfriend and I decided to give this place a try because we were enticed by the good reviews and pictures of the food.. and boy it did not disappoint. I am always craving breakfast food and looked up places around us to have breakfast/brunch. This place was pretty popping for a Monday morning. We got greeted right away when we walked in the door and only had to wait probably 10 minutes. Our server was so kind. I wanted to order a chai tea with no dairy but she kindly came out and told me that their chai tea was prepared already with dairy and let me change my order. I got the "Kale to the King" juice instead; which turned out to be SO good. I ordered the southern chicken and waffles and my boyfriend ordered the big easy benedict. After reading the rave reviews ... we decided to try it for one special brunch before dropping off my kid to college: wow - it was very niceeeee!! The place... super cute, everyone very attentive, the atmosphere was posh- I liked it thank you very much!! And the food... well, my eggs Benedicto looked delish and tasted better!! And the eggs: they were round little balls! Perfectly juicy inside! So goooood!! The reason why they got 4 stars is because my daughter got the salted caramel waffles... and she said they had too much of the chunky salty crystals... and I trust her palate-- but the waffles were good and so... room for improvement just there! A nice breakfast spot with a few locations in the area. Consistently good food with creative menu choices. Went a little different and ordered the "Chicken or Benny" Special, which consisted of poached eggs on an English muffin with slices of chicken sausage, home fries and Hollandaise sauce with a side of fruit. A really flavorful combination. One suggestion: Go with the house coffee as they bring you a pot for the table, it's very good, and the espresso drinks are not so great. There's nothing like cold runny eggs to get your Saturday going! So I came here on vacation with my family and the food was so good, we came back almost every single day. The servers are all okay, not great. The food was really great that's the only reason why we kept coming back. I'm giving it three stars because of the attitude and complete disrespect by the woman in the photo there that you see, so me and my aunt sat at the bar one day because there was no tables. We sat there, smiling for about 5 to 7 minutes before we were even acknowledged, and all the waitress did was throw some menus in our faces and walk away, didn't say hi, I didn't say anything....... So after a few minutes of still no contact, I stopped and asked for a coffee with almond milk. She rudely slammed the cups in front of our faces and walked away .... What is really interesting though is a couple sat next to us while this was going on and she greeted them with a big smile gave them menus and asked them what they wanted to drink. Not sure what it was about us that she did not like, but there is no way shape or form in any situation where you should treat a customer different then another customer. Anytime, we asked her for anything. She rolled her eyes and didn't say anything, just brought it in walked away. One of the rudest people I have encountered here in New Jersey. She obviously and definitely needs some training on how to speak to customers. The next day when we came back there were a few seats at the bar and we were asked if we want to sit there, but when I saw it was her that was working I said absolutely not . Extremely disappointed in visit for lunch. Was told wait 15 minutes was actually 45. Then we waited an additional half hour for food. Our server was terrible. She was short with us and we hardly saw her. We wanted to order more but she ignored us, looking at us often yet ignored our raised hand. We were sat in the long booth by the bar around 1130 am on 6/11. When the waitress brought our food she literally dropped rather hard and left quickly. When we asked for tea she said we don't have any. Tea??? I always got tea there. She turned and walked away before we could ask for her to check. The food was ok, greens salad horrible. Hardly no dressing. Tried to get server but she ignored us. Then after we were done we had waited for our check. Trying to get out of there. She got us boxes and sat ck down. When we gave her the cash she disappeared and then came back slammed the cash on the table and said it was short a dollar. She then left without the money as we had no problem giving her another dollar. Then she comes back 15 minutes later and said "well, I hope you figured it out," what?! So rude. We waited and she came back with a $1.10 change??? Seriously she can't count. So instead of saying the cash was correct and apologizing for being rude she just walks away. With the food being underwhelming and service horrible it's going to be awhile if we ever go back. Very disappointed. read more
