They quoted me $550-$650 for the timing belt + water pump, with the caveat that because the belt went while we were moving we might also need a valve job, which would be $900. The valves did end up needing doing, and we left for $1,450. But not only did they do the belt / pump / valves for the lower end of their estimate, they also replaced all the plugs and did a mini tune up. No charge. And then we realized a day later that there was a little sticker in the upper corner of our windshield - they'd snuck in an oil change as well. They even put the higher mileage stuff in there for us. So cool. Great service, and everyone was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

I could see the sharks inside - eyeing me up. They were just waiting for me to stop so they could attack. I left. Cruising down Lancaster Avenue I saw John's Great Cars. I have heard their radio ads for a long time and drove onto the lot. Salesman Jim was in the lot and smiled and waved. He didn't rush us as most dealers do. He came over and asked what I was looking for and pointed our two options. I immediately loved the one. I asked for the lowest price and what they offered was fair and a great deal. Looked up some local dealerships and found this one. First of all the ladies there welcomed me pretty warmly, for a mom and pops shop it's friendly inviting and I felt like I've been a customer with them forever. Joy was my service writer and she was pretty knowledgeable and there was another lady there that was helpful when Joy wasn't there. They did a free courtesy check, o had some additional issues which I'm glad they found and had them serviced as well. While they arent necessarily the cheapest I felt confident in the work they've done so far and booke my next maintenance with them. Great all around service!!!

I did not need a diagnosis it was in for a simple distributor cap replacement rotor, and plug wires. They took it on their own to replace the spark plugs which they were replaced over a month ago and hit me with three labor charges, which that was a simple job and taken more than an hour to do. They took it on their own to do a diagnosis because I didn't listen charged me three labor charges and $792 later had to pay it I'm not happy. I hope people start looking at their from this place and pay attention. Also what they charge in parts is crazy. It is far more 30 to 50 places charged profit distributor cap and rotor should only cost around 30 bucks not over $100 sure places in business need to make a profit to survive they don't need to kill the public in profit and I feel for that simple job I got raped I also called a few other mechanics and they simply told me at the minimum $300 maximum $400 job. So pay attention to what you're doing and pay attention to your bills from this place because as I said three labor charges on job is for the birds.

CAUTION - Dishonest Service Manager Stranded on the PA Turn Pike on the Friday afternoon of Labor Day Weekend, the tow took us to this establishment. Reluctantly, I struck a 2x labor rate ($180) deal to replace a fuel pump in a 2001 Chevy Astro the next morning. The job was bid for 3 hours. I arrived at 9:20 am and checked in with Brandon the weekend Service Manager who presented me with the $540 labor and $405 Fuel Pump charge. I approved and he then said the job would be done by noon. I looked at the van up on the lift at 9:25 am and saw the tank fully intact and installed, still on the van. I took off to a nearby Walmart and returned at 11:00 am and looked at the van before heading into see Brandon. No Change. Exactly as I had seen it before I left. When I asked for a progress update, he said that they were almost done and would have it finished by 11:30 am. I said that it didn't look like the tank was dropped or worked on, where he replied that they were finishing up and would be ready at 11:30 am. So I walked out and parked myself where I could watch any activity of their "finishing up." At 11:20, a mechanic dropped the van, started it and drove it out of the garage. When I spoke to the GM (Bob) about not seeing any work performed and was suspicious to why I was charged for 3.0 hours, he acted as if he didn't know what to do about the complaint. So we agreed to have Brandon come in and address this simple question; " When was the work performed and ho long did it take. Brandon said that his mechanic started at 8:00 am and was finished at 10:30 am - 10:45 am. Bottom line is they did start at 8:00 am, but by the time we arrived at 9:20 am, the work was completed and they strung me along to 11:20 am, charge my 3.0 hrs for 1.5 hrs work at 2x standard rate. Creeps and crooks. Greedy and seedy.
