It's clean and convenient, but when the machines don't work properly, it doesn't matter what the surface looks like. Last week I went in to do laundry and ended up having a less than satisfactory experience. Using the large capacity machine seemed like s good idea until I realized with 30 minutes left to go that it was not washing. The machine had no water in it until the rinse cycle. These machines lock so there was no stopping it mid cycle. After the load cycled through I had to move it to a new machine and wash it again. It adds up at almost $4 a load not to mention the extended time spent for the drying cycle after my other loads were complete. Another machine I was using leaked all over the floor (at least this load was clean). I called the number listed and left a message, 2 in fact because I called back a second time to inquire about a misplaced set of car keys, and received no reply. Every possible good thing I could say about this establishment is wasted breath because of the complete lack of customer service. I will be taking my laundry elsewhere since Dave couldn't return a phone call. read more

Very Clean place. They have everything you need to wash your clothes. From coin change machines, all cleaning supplies in a vending machine and all the machines take credit cards. They also have XL capacity machines. We were able to wash and dry 6 very large towels in their machines. read more

This is my go to spot for laundering huge items - comforters, pillows, large blankets, etc. You don't need quarters to use their machines, each is equipped with credit card swiper. This laundromat is well maintained, pretty, and close to the beaches. read more

The only reason I am giving this laundry mat two stars is because they have WiFi and comfy seats. Other then that don't do your laundry here! 1) bums, I didn't realize they did laundry but they do and it's here. It also smells awful. 2) bums, they don't use soap and no one cleans out the machines so if you do laundry here it will all come out smelling like bum 3) the cost, $3.75 for a heavy load on hot where hardly any water is used?! My clothes didn't even get clean. But when I took them to another laundry to rewash them (yes I had to rewash everything right away) they came out spotless and not reeking of bum In conclusion if you don't mind blowing all you money on laundry and smelling like a bum this is the spot for you. But if you like having clean laundry and not wasting all your money go elsewhere. read more

Very chill & nice. Small and quaint. Not a huge place but that actually might be a nice thing cuz it's kind of cozy. Lots of chill space. HOWEVER, no sink! No bathroom and no sink? Poo Poo. I asked the new owner (BRAND NEW AS OF 15 MIND AGO!) and at first he seemed to object saying they didn't. Asked why. I told him I had detergent on my hands (well duh lol). So he let me use the one in the office. He did help me, only mildly reluctant, so I won't knock hard... But just sayin "sure it's right here" would have been better lol. I mean cmon here I ain't trying to wash my invisible puppy in your sink lol. I was just planning on using it for, ya know, what sinks are generally made for... Used to be ok and clean enough to do laundry, now every time I go in there all I see are homeless people that look strung out, dirty, coughing, sniffling, bleeding and not even doing laundry. It's small but most of the machines work and they take card. ATM fee is 3$. If you use the same card, every 10th wash is free. I used one of the larger washers and it left all of my items soaking wet. In another instance I used one of their dryers and it wasn't even hot. Parking is also quite difficult. At least they have free WiFi. I called the owner and he was able to give me a refund, which I really appreciate. Either way I will be doing my laundry else where from now on unless the other nearby laundromats are of lesser quality. read more

The last 2 times I was there the place wasn't very clean and I actually went around and picked up some trash and organized the carts. Please do NOT go here! Negative 10 stars!! I made a big mistake! There is no signs how to use the WiFi and can't connect! I called the number here for help and no one answered or called me back!! It is WAY too expensive- $3-8 a for a wash, $6-12 for a dry since my clothes were soaked! My clothes didn't get clean and some of the loads were still completely soaked so it took 5 times the money and TIME to dry! The vending machine is broken! Good laundering experience. Funny...normally doing your laundry isn't an experience per-se, it's usually just blah. Gotta do whatcha gotta do. BUT, this place is cool because there are lots of spots to chill and hang, whether it's the bar table or comfy couches. They have wifi so I was able to get in an hour or so of work, which was good. (The wifi code is on the center pillar when you first walk in...I couldn't find it for a few minutes cuz it blends in with all the other signage.) Other laundry places don't have good chill spots. If I don't have work, next time I'll Netflix it on the couch while my stuff cleans. The machines seem good and they have big ones for comforters. The place is spotless. Price...I don't remember what I've paid before, but I think it's competitive enough considering the convenience of a nice place to wait. Bonus points: 80's playing on the radio, owner's direct number on the wall if you need help, and a vending machine stocked with laundry essentials and snacks-snacks. I recently moved to an apartment in the area without laundry on-site and no car. I opted to come to this laundromat to wash clothes yesterday and had a pretty pleasing experience. It was very clean and smelled great in there. I found a nice area to hold up in while my clothes washed. The staff was friendly and gave me polite smiles and hellos as I moved throughout the laundromat. This is definitely going to be my new laundry spot. read more

It sounds crazy, but going to do your laundry at this place is as comfortable doing it at your house. The place is so cozy and welcoming, and absolutely adorable inside. Steve, the owner, has at least come in every time I'm there and is often there the whole time (cleaning, doing machine maintenance, talking to customers, etc.). He's super friendly and a pleasure to talk with. The machines are a great value, the chairs and couch are comfortable and the dryers are fast! Really nice laundromat. Closest one I could find coming from La Jolla. Hours are convenient, and it's always very clean. I often see the owner in there cleaning and keeping the place tidy. He's very warm and welcoming and friendly which is added bonus on top of doing laundry. The cheapest machines at 2.50 which isn't ideal, but there are so many that I can easily do 4-5 loads without having to wait for a machine which is a huge luxury. Both washers and dryers are powerful enough to get all of my items clean. Bonus, there's free WiFi, comfy chairs/couches, and a nice French bakery across the street. There are a few parking spots for the laundromat itself, and I've never had trouble finding parking on the street either. Would definitely recommend this spot. read more

I love this laundry place, it may be small but it was the cleanest and most quiet laundry shop i've ever been. there's a laundry place a few blocks from where i live but i like this one better. it has free wifi and it's never crowded. i love to do my laundry here while i read a book or even bring my laptop. the owner is very friendly as well. i just wish the vending machine would work, the last time i was there it was broken or out of drinks. but all in all this laundry shop is the best! read more

I live around the corner so it's pretty convent. It's always super clean in here. I started coming here about a year ago when we moved in to our house, only until my boyfriend got the hook ups to the washer in dryer in order.. Here I sit a year later *eye roll* anyhow, the machines seem to always break down but they've recently started to fix that problem. A bunch of the machines have been updated and another change machine was added. Also a vending machine which helps when you have a 2 year old. Only thing missing here is a bathroom.
