First visit this evening. I really enjoyed the food (fish and chips). I would rate a 5 if the service were better. Too many people standing behind the bar checking their phones. I had to go to the bar to ask for a tea refill. Tipped 15%, but that was definitely too generous. We'll go back. Hopefully they'll be more attentive. read more

Great neighborhood restaurant and pub. Good beers and food. It has a variety of menu items and also a great Saturday and Sunday brunch. However during the football Season they have discontinued Saturdays brunch -( and now only have it on Sunday with all the loud football fans. Too noisy to enjoy a meal with all the yelling. We had the pleasure of welcoming them to the neighborhood last night. We were welcomed by our server Kellie who rocks her job. I had a basic hamburger with fries - both cooked to perfection. I loved the pretzel bun. No soggy hamburger bottom. My son had a spicier version of the hamburger - a little service problem there but it was corrected quickly. My husband had a steak burrito and he enjoyed it. We also tried their green beans with corn and bacon. Hubby and son both had a beer which they enjoyed. They have quite a good beer menu. Rumor has it they are looking to have a full bar at some point. All in all I can see this restaurant becoming a neighborhood hangout. Prices are reasonable. Food is good. Service was pretty darn good and atmosphere was great. Give it a try - and please be patient. They are new and will undoubtedly have some kinks to work out. One of the owners, Nathan, even had a sit down with us to get our thoughts. That is called GREAT customer service. My major recommendation at this point is bigger water glasses. :) We will definitely be back. read more

I had heard good things about this place, so decided to try it out. I ordered take out with a chicken club sandwich and soup du jour. Today it was shrimp chowder. I was very disappointed in both. The shrimp chowder should more accurately have been called hot bean soup. Shouldn't there be shrimp in shrimp chowder? The so called chicken club was an open faced sandwich. Half had some chicken and bacon and the other half had lettuce, tomato and two skinny pieces of avocado. The chicken was dry and tasteless. I thought a club sandwich was supposed to be more than one layer. I seriously felt ripped off and misled. My dog ate half the sandwich that I gave him-I was very upset. I tried to call, but I guess they were closed by then. The so called service was bad too. I saw my order in a take out bag on the counter when I walked in. When I finally flagged someone down to help me, I was told it wasn't ready. Wth? Also, the place was so noisy, I could barely hear myself think. We finally tried this place when finding ourselves suddenly hungry and close by. My husband got the Fish n Chips and gave me ONE bite. Very good! Fries were just a bit soggy, but he managed to finish them. I got the Chicken Club with avocado and bacon and lots of trimmings. I also ordered the onion rings which were plenty and pretty perfect. We were served by Emilia who was warm, friendly and full of suggestions. The place was clean and bright with turquoise accents everywhere. Lots of choices on tap. We'll be back. read more

Service and food is very good. However, the noise level, due to poor acoustics, and whoever controls the music think their job is to damage eardrums, methinks. The noise from the patrons is a cacophony unbearable on its own but add to this the volume of the music and no acoustics, I doubt we will go there again as late as we went today, about 5:00 pm. Maybe we will try earlier in the afternoon, if at all. Our rating would have been 4 stars had it not been for the noise. read more

I was greeted immediately as I stepped in the door. I sat at the bar where Kelly took my drink order right away, and gave me a food menu. My beer arrived ice cold, and I placed my food order. I got crispy bbq wings with ranch. And a burger that came on a pretzel bun (really good). I didnt wait any longer than 10 minutes for my wings, and my burger arrived shortly after I finished my wings. I finished my meal off with a brownie topped with vanilla ice cream. Overall, everything was excellent. It's a nice place to hang out at the bar, or bring a date. Or you could even bring friends and hang out on the couches. Plenty of TV's to watch whatever your heart desires. The pricing on everything was extremely cheap so I was surprised when I got my check and it was so low! Today my boyfriend and I came here and we had never been! We were looking for a place to watch the fights. The restaurant is a while in the wall let me tell you the food was so good! And!!! Affordable! The only down fall for us PERSONAL PREFERENCE we aren't beer drinkers we prefer TEQUILA!!! They only had pre-made mixed drinks. Not the best, but we orders the nachos and wings as appetizers. Lots of great flavors in the nachos had good heat of jalapeños and wings were great! The service was great if one server was busy another was always helpful. There were only three servers the whole shift and they were all very on top of it! After experiencing a not so friendly staff at Bosque Brewery, we decided to come over here. I was worried about "bar food" but it was anything but that. Wife and shared a Philly cheesesteak and steak burrito. Sooooo much steak in the burrito and it was amazing. Philly was even better. So juicy, bread was soft and perfect and the peppers were very tasty. Onion rings are Da Bomb! Beer selection is quite nice. Better than a local brewery near by. Thanks for making my evening! Staff was friendly and atmosphere was good - except the chairs are metal and a bit uncomfortable. We shared an order of onion rings and I ordered a burger. We've been anticipating the opening for months since there is not much in this part of Rio Rancho and traffic beyond horrible going through Bernalillo. Cozy decor with plenty of TVs for sports lovers. Decent selection of excellent local brews. Thought we'd try something different. Cute place but as soon as we walked in I could smell that the drains needed cleaning and possibly the beer keg coolers. Those things have a distinct moldy hops smell when they've been neglected. I used to manage 2 bars in a hotel on the beach in Charleston, SC and if you don't stay on top of those drains and coolers, it smells like a dirty dark, much like this place did. The place looked very clean and nice, but the smell gave it away. Most people would assume it's just the beer smell, but it's not. The food was ok, didn't expect much after walking in and that's what we got. The chicken wings were cooked, just not enough. The skin was mushy and it wasn't because of the sauce. Ther burger was really greasy, too greasy. Like cheap meat greasy. The onion rings were ok but could use a little more time in the fryer or use a different onion. Don't think we'll be back...
