    Not good old fashioned
    Nicole B.

Drinks were not great. Too sweet and/or made with incorrect ingredients. The old fashioned I received smelled and tasted like cinnamon. When I let the server know she just mentioned that it's the bitters I'm tasting. Menu had no mention of cinnamon in this cocktail. She also never offered to remake it. Food was ok, nothing special. However, the food we received did not match the description on the menu. Service was quite slow. Not sure if this is a norm or if they were short staffed. Probably won't go back.

horrible. i'm sure it's great in the evening, but do not go for brunch. i had the literal worst experience. they opened like half an hour late and left us waiting outside until they felt like opening the doors, and the food was so ass they didn't even cook the meat. we could've gotten sick. mind you we were the only people in the entire restaurant so i'm not sure what the rush in cooking was there. we also only got checked on like once and no drinks were refilled when empty. just to top off the icky experience, i emailed and direct messaged the manager and never got a response back. so disappointing because i was so excited to try it. we all have bad days in the service industry, but geez guys.

I had been wanting to check out this place and I decided to celebrate my birthday here with a lot of my friends and let me just say the staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. Despite having a large group ( there was about 15 of us)they placed us in a large seating area and would add chairs and tables as needed. They were super organized and even when paying at no point was it ever confusing. They did so much that they did not have to but they did and were all super friendly while doing it. Now on to the food and drinks, the drinks and food were delicious, I had the elote ribs and everyone had good things to say about the food and drinks. The vibe is very chill despite being a more on the fancy/instagram worthy decor place. Definitely a great add on to Nob Hill to which I look forward to going back and trying their brunch menu.

Loved this place! Incredible food, great environment and very welcoming and knowledgeable staff. Service was wonderful, and the drinks were great along with excellent mocktail options. I'll definitely be going back.

Great food, drinks & service! A good addition to Nob Hill. The Luna burrito and the B's mule hit the spot

I knew after dinner we may wanna grab 1 more drink so I had checked to see if there were any new spots sine the last time we were in town. I hadn't heard of this Teddy Roe's so we grabbed a reservation for the late evening. After getting dropped off by a car we tried to find the entrance. I'm not going to give away the trick to it but it was fun. Once inside we got our spot that we held. I didn't see a drink on their menu that I liked that was rum based, so I asked the kind bartender if they could make me one. I only asked that it be alcohol forward, but that I was good if it was a more fruity drink too. They brought me a concoction that was perfect. It's a real nice place. The ornate ceiling and the beautiful bar added to the regal vibes of the place. I would definite recommend Teddy's; it's one of the best speakeasies in town.

Crispy Brussels sprouts had great flavor but way too much cayenne pepper (which adds nothing but heat) my husband ate them but said he would prefer less heat. I had 2 bites and gave up. Baked brie was amazing I loved the granny Smith apples! My husband loved them too. We also got the hummus duo which has dates on it and I used a date in the brie that was fantastic! I'll ask for that next time! It was the bomb. Hummus duo was good the watermelon radish was beautiful on the plate but gave both hummus a bitter flavor. Shrimp and grits. We live in Alabama currently and this was our least favorite dish of the day. Shrimp were cooked well and so were the grits but there was just something else it needed. Parmesan cheese and some onions maybe. Greek salad delicious. The flash fried chick peas made it. We needed more dressing and the wait staff was prompt and sweet about it. Spicy Lime Ceasar was ok till he requested more dressing then it was amazing. I was afraid of ordering it but the dressing wasn't too spicy . White sangria I had was disappointing it was more of a 1995 wine spritzer than a wine infused with citrus which is the very essence of sangria. It was ok and had I ordered a wine spritzer I would say yummo but I ordered sangria. Pork Belly flat bread was the winner of the night the tomato jam made that dish. I would love more on it next time but we will definitely be ordering that dish again! Yes we had a lot of left over food! But I love sampling a menu and this menu has a lot to offer. We will be back to try 4 or five other things. I look forward to my return.

In a rare turn of events, both kids got the same thing, the Korean chicken bites with the sauce on the side, which was a great decision bc it did have a kick to it. The chicken itself was a bit dry. Both adults also got the pork belly flatbread. I found it a bit unbalanced with too much sauce and not enough other toppings, and the base wasn't as crispy as I prefer. Speaking of crispy, we opted for the appetizer brussel sprouts, and they were a bit chewy and on the not so super crispy side. Service was fine, and glad to have a little break from heavier New Mexican cuisine on this night. Lots of variety on the cocktail and adult beverage menu too.

Had the jungle bird, which was properly bitter if you're into that. The marikoriko was sweet and fruity, way easy to drink. The Saturn was also wonderfully fruity and easy to drink. I didn't bother with the mai tai because they use kraken instead of an actual funky Caribbean rum, which is wild because they carry Meyers. Probably my biggest critique is to funkify that Mai Tai yo! Float of kraken if you must, but use some Caribbean rum in there! Service was great, atmosphere left room for improvement. Great for a casual few drinks with your meal. Solid spot! The citrus was definitely citrus and refreshing. The pot star martini was very funny and fun to drink, wirh a lot of tropical flavors, but it was not as fun as the glittery cosmo. First off, the menus were terribly hard to read. The dim lighting, coupled with the light print on the newspaper like menus was a terrible combination. Several people in my party were pulling out their cell phones to shine the flashlight on the menu to try to read it. Next, when you're trying to capture a tiki bar type experience, that includes this expectation of fun over the top, cocktails comprised of ingredients you can't easily acquire to make it home or order anywhere else. The cocktail menu that the waiter said was "balanced" when he referred to all of their drinks, didn't really hit the spot. The flavors were pretty limited, and we're all very middle of the road. Nothing too exciting or potentially gripping. And honestly, when I come to a tiki bar I want a sugary fruit filled flavor bomb. And they had nothing like that on the menu. My husband is more of a hard cocktail drinker, and he even commented that their offerings felt stilted and not exciting. I would come back at a future date, but I would check the menu first to see if any changes had been made. Very cool location, though!
