Our server walked us through the menu and special options. It's $100 per person and you get to choose three courses each, one app, one starter, and one entree. I liked the way they managed their menu as you had several choices in each category as opposed to prix fixe where everything is chosen for you. Some of the specials did require an up charge. I chose the fried calamari, the spinach salad, and filet mignon. Everything was delicious. The calamari portion was huge. I only could eat about half. The spinach salad was actually mixed greens as they hadn't gotten their spinach shipment in yet (island life). It came topped with popcorn, a unique option that was quite good. The filet was cooked perfectly. It was so tender and had a nice rich sauce over the top. It came with asparagus and potatoes. Husband got the duck, gnocchi, and mahi mahi. His meal was excellent as well. I got to taste everything. I kind of wish we would have had a dessert option instead of an app.

Service wasn't the best, especially the hostess's. The restaurant was also pretty warm, they turned on a mini split towards the end of our visit but while I was there I didn't notice any improvement on the temperature. Not sure if I would try again

Our $19 french dip with 11 onion rings was very good and tided us over until dinner. The service is outstanding and my water was never empty. They use a desalinization pump from the ocean and the water is some of the best I've had in the islands. They have two tv's running news and sports while you wait for your food. It is all outside seating under shaded cover so you won't die in the sun. It is not air conditioned though so if you are struggling with the humidity this is not the place to get away from the heat. Try the gift shop and get some ice cream! The salted caramel scoop is $6.50 and worth every calorie. The grounds are spectacular and you must spend the day enjoying honeymoon beach.

Definitely not a "bargain" as some other places on the island are for lunch, but chances are, if you're staying at the resort, you don't really care too much about a bargain. The staff is friendly, and they make a point (if you're a guest) to refer to you by your name, which is comforting (how did that gal know my name - I had just checked in?). The bartender we had was friendly and attentive and didn't mind so much the request for something that wasn't on the menu (but then again, how hard is Myers's and Pineapple?). The CBB&G also has beach service. Unfortunately, that is where they lose me. The two drinks we ordered from the gal on the beach were hot and they took FOR EVER to get. Food was adequate. I didn't feel too ripped off (after all, this IS a resort), except when I ordered sushi. I think I'm just spoiled by the riches of my favorite Birmingham sushi join (see: http://www.yelp.com/biz/jinsei-sushi-birmingham#hrid:vG7n6leCFicaYWNOqrlE8A). There are other options on the menu, and I mostly opted for the salads, which were creative, when dining there. Overall, a good option if you're a guest of the resort, and just want to throw on your cover up and flops and have a quick bite and a drink. Would I stop there if I were on a sailboat just to go to a beach bar and for the scenery? NO. There are way too many other options around the island.

All of the food was delicious. My only complaint was that the side of broccoli was tiny! Maybe 6 heads of broccoli, for $5 + $1 for togo. $1 a head. So I'd choose a different side next time for more money sadly. It was good, just wanted more health than I got. All of the sandwiches were good, just wish the chicken sandwich had some pickles on it to add some acidity. But overall a very good meal. The two male workers there were kind and helpful.

Not a lot to look at with a handful of high-top tables in an "alley" with a small covered patio and bar. Great and friendly service, but don't go looking for ambiance here. The premise is simple, and that's delicious craft burgers! Happy hour offers $5 margaritas from 3:00-5:00 and were tasty and refreshing on a hot day. Bottled water after is $2, so know that there is no tap option. I ordered the Black and Blue burger, which is not all that rare as it is a Blue Cheese wagyu burger with grilled onions and was cooked to perfection on a brioche bun. At the end of the day, it's always disappointing when a burger place makes fries an upcharge, but my burger was OUTSTANDING and tasty, and happy hour margaritas, so no regrets!
