Poke nachos and fried fish everything

The Beach Bar is everything you want in a Caribbean beach bar toes in the sand, boats in the harbor, live music in the background, and a front-row seat to those unreal St. John sunsets. We went during their Painkiller special and the price was honestly amazing. It tasted so good smooth, creamy, tropical, and super refreshing. The only downside? It didn't really taste like there was much alcohol in it. Great flavor, but if you're looking for a strong pour, you may need more than one. This was hands down some of the best bar food I've ever had. The poke nachos were next level flavorful, and perfectly balanced. And the fried fish? Crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside, and clearly fresh. Everything tasted high quality, not just your typical frozen bar bites. The vibe shifts as the day goes on, relaxed and easy during lunch, then more lively and energetic in the evening with a friendly crowd and even a live feed to say hi to friends from home. 10/10 for atmosphere and food. Just maybe double up on the Painkillers if you're trying to feel them.

Beautiful views and loud music (too loud for our preference, but didn't realize that till after we'd sat down). Delicious nachos and we're definitely loaded which is nice for the price. Conch fritters didn't have much meat in them, so I'd pass on those next time. But the aioli was very good. Painkiller wasn't our favorite, but for $6 + $1 floater, it wasn't bad.

What a fun bar! Right on the water with cool views. Large wrap around bar and lots of tables. We didn't have any food we just stopped in for a couple drinks. They had live music and people were dancing which was super fun! Overall it's a fun vibe!

OMG! beach bar is perfect! Better than expected but so fitting for the amazing location. Get the poke nachos!!!

Can't complete a trip to STJ without hitting the beach bar. After a day in the BVI's we finished our day off with drinks and tacos and the beach bar. Seating was scarce but we managed to find a spot closer to the inside bar, but still looking out over the water. Our server was a bit surly but she sure was hustling as it was quite busy...Sunday and lots around to watch the game. We ordered 2 orders of fish tacos do split between the two of us and some conch fritters and of course drinks. I ordered a lemonade which honestly just tasted like a splash of lemon in some ice water. Tacos and fritters were good. The Beach Bar is best for drinks and ambiance! Definitely a must do in STJ!

Great view and reasonably priced. Fun atmosphere and tables on the beach in Cruz Bay!

    Flying Shrimp Basket

Very nice and chill spot on the island. Nachos were delicious and came with a lot of great toppings (it wasn't just cheese). My main entree was the Flying Shrimp basket which came with fried shrimp with buffalo sauce and French fries. I would pass on the sauce next time just because it had a strong vinegar taste. The drinks here were delicious. Served in a small plastic cup but very tasty. I appreciated how attentive and friendly the staff was!

View is awesome! Service was really good too! Food came out super quick and was pretty good! I got the chicken tacos & my husband got the fish tacos and we both enjoyed our meal! Not the best fish tacos we've had on the island but probably the second best! The drink was so good with the fresh banana in it!

We ate there three times. 1st and 2nd time by choice, 3rd went for drinks ended up ordering the fritters again!!! Let's start with the first dinner when we arrived I order short Rib pasta it was fantastic, conch fritters no joke best we had during our stay and we tried them everywhere they were served at least 6 different places we always came back to lemongrass for them. My daughter ordered them three times just for dinners. Mahi Mahi sandwich was a rough go. Tried twice both times extremely dry no juice at all. The ahi app was good but still a pass considering what I've had at other spots. The female bartenders know how to make a great drink and were so kind to run to the kitchen and grab us food when we were 5 mins over the time to order. Top 3 when it comes to a Painkiller, Lime N da coconut also lights out. Everyone was extremely friendly smiled a lot and provided great service. It was a little slower but we are fine with that we are on island time. As long as they are attentive then I can handle waiting. So some food and drink great and some probably want to pass on the mahi mahi sandwich.
