If you are looking for a cute family friendly, air conditioned show that is also funny, then you should head over to Turtle Talk with Crush. This is a live interactive show located in the Living Seas at EPCOT. You interact with a screen and Crush from Finding Nemo, however, there is someone who is actually speaking and talking to the audience. This might not be one we hit every single visit to EPCOT but it is a really fun show. My wife and I never sit near the front to interact with Crush, but we do enjoy watching the show. It is really funny. The line is never super long but you will need to wait to be let into the theater. So while you are waiting, you have some interactive things to read and look over. Once inside, there are seats on the floor (better suited for the kids and then benches. They are not staggered so sitting in the back might be hard to see depending on who sits in front of you. The cast member does encourage the kids to sit on the floor. This show is 100% designed for kids, they get to talk and speak to Crush under the water. It is really fun for them and sometimes the kids really get into it. Crush will ask the kids to ask him questions, which can get very funny as we all know how kids can be! I think the funniest question was "how do you p**p". It is funny to hear how Crush describes things in the human world. They also will encourage kids to sit on the floor near the front. It is easier for the cast member to give the microphone over. Overall it's a cute show, it has AC, you can sit down, it will make you laugh. Turtle Talk with Crush is a live interactive show located in the Living Seas at EPCOT. This feature Crush from Finding Nemo and he will actually interact with the audience. This is located inside just off from the ride. It is not a show that my husband and I actually watch a lot, however, it is a show we should. It is inside, its funny and actually really cute. Before you head into the theatre area, there are some interactive things to read and look at it. Once you head inside it is not a large theatre, it really is just some benches, a very large TV screen and then floor area. They encourage the kids to sit on the floor so they can see better and interact with Crush. There is a cast member that will go around to certain people with a microphone, this allows you to speak with Crush in the water. It is really for kids, however, my husband and I love this cute little show. It's so fun, Crush is absolutely hilarious, questioning the human world and laughing at things we find so common. If you do sit on the floor, you must sit on the floor, you cannot stand near your child. The show can also be dictated by the questions the kids ask. I have heard some really weird questions like "how to do use the bathroom". But its children. Overall I would say see it. In the summer when its so hot outside, this is one of the indoor shows and you must stop and see it. Stay cool, and say hi to Crush! read more

This is a fun experience for kids and parents. It is a popular one, so wait time gets long quickly, but they do have a large auditorium. In the waiting area, guests can take simple quiz and receive a certificate in their email. The experience begins with Crush the turtle appearing on the screen. All the kids sit in front. Crush talks and interactions with the kids. At one point he is accompanied by his kids and Dori. The interactions are cute and fun. The whole experience is about 10 minutes. read more

Turtle Talk with Crush is one of my favorite shows in Epcot Disneyworld and California Adventure at Disneyland. My family and I watched Turtle Talk with Crush before our dinner reservation at Space 220 on a Thursday evening. Turtle Talk with Crush is located in World Nature at Epcot. If you ride the Nemo ride, you'll end up inside the building where Turtle Talk with Crush Theatre is located. The show is for all ages! It's a live 15-minute chat and interactive session! You'll get to see Turtle crush from Disney and Pixar's Finding Nemo. While you're watching the show, you'll get to ask a bunch of questions to Crush! It's so much fun! I'm going to give this 4 stars only because it's really good for small children. The show is about 20 minutes and as others have said, Crush actually interacts with the children who are encouraged to sit on the floor in front of the screen. There are benches set up for the adults. It works very much like Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor. There's someone behind the curtain controlling crush so he moves around the screen and actually looks at the kid asking the question and then answers. It's pretty neat that the kids actually believe it's really Crush right there talking to them. Unlike Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor, which I love because it's always funny, I'm not so much into Turtle Talk with Crush. We only wander in here when we happen to be in this area of the Park and we're hot and bored. Even then, it doesn't happen very often. I'd rather head to Living With The Land instead. I'm sure if I had small children of my own, I would enjoy this much more because I would enjoy watching the amazement in my child's eyes. But, I do not have small children, so I get pretty bored here pretty fast. The last time we were here, we actually walked out after about 10 minutes. Crush also has the whole "surfer dude" voice going on and people who speak that way really irritate me. If you do have small kids, don't miss this one. They will love it and you will love that they love it. If you do not have children with you (or have older children), then skip this one and spend your time in the Park doing something much more entertaining. Brief Description: an interactive theater show starring the 153-year-old surfer-dude turtle, Crush, from Finding Nemo. The audience is in a "tank" that has a window for Crush to see into and the two parties are there to "learn from each other". It's a comedic, interactive encounter as Crush has actual conversations with guests in the audience. Real-time computer graphics are used to accurately move Crush's mouth when he forms his words. Pros: Everything. This is, hands-down, one of the best experiences at Epcot. Doesn't grab the headlines that Mission: Space or Soarin' get, but it's absolutely adorable and REALLY funny. The actor doing Crush's voice has great comedic timing and hilarious humor. There's even some real, live aquatic creatures in the waiting room before the show, and some other interactive systems for pre-Crush entertainment. Such a fun, unique experience. You get to visit with Crush the turtle in real time. The cast member is great at improvising and remaining true to the character. How good the experience is probably hinges on the crowd, and kids can be great for unintended levity. My boys were seated up from while I took a spot in the back. During the question and answer session, I just barely made out a child introduce himself as Pickle and knew immediately who it was (really, I don't know why pickles have so captured his imagination because he doesn't even it them.) When Crush asked what his question was, he said "what?" to the amusement of the audience because he thought the segment was the other way around. My son was a little disappointed after the fact, but I thought Crush handled the miscommunication well. There's a lot of audience participation and some decent jokes. I've never really loved the movie to be honest, but this didn't bore me. read more

This is the most perfect show for a kid. They basically interact with Crush who is a real live actor hiding somewhere so he actually see's you and will answer the questions your kids might have. It's a very cute show for the little ones and they will love the hell out of this one. It last about 15 minutes so you'll be able to relax your feet. It's nothing more really beyond that. By far one of the best interactive shows I have ever seen! I came in thinking it was going to be similar to the other shows but this one is so cute. Crush really talks to the kids in real time. He's a cartoon yes, he swims around and looks out into the crowd to pick on kids at the front who want to ask questions about the turtle world and he asks about the human world. It's a great lesson in conservation and makes you remember you aren't the only ones sharing the earth. Crush called the kids by name and even involved the parents of my kid who got shy trying to talk to crush. It was absolutely adorable and I would go see it again even if we weren't with kids. I will say it was hard to see as an adult seated behind others on the same level, but I could see and hear enough. A must do while in Epcot! read more

Excellent interactive, improv attraction. Kids and adults both will enjoy the smart, quick wit of crush. I just really dislike the questions the kids were asking during my visit. "Are you weird? " and since a lot of people laughed, the crazy questions continued from other kids. "Are you stupid?" Seriously?? Turtle handled it well and kept it light and funny like a boss. I would have not entertained the question--skipped it and not looked back. What does this say about the children that are our future? Idiocracy is sadly not far off. I want to live in a smart society, and this fun attraction proved very discouraging towards this goal. Finally some English sounding kid asked an actual relevant question. I don't have kids with me when I watch this show, but it is still massively entertaining and amusing to see Crush interact with the children sitting up in front of the audience. A cast member works the technology to add animation and details, while apparently being witty at the same time. Don't miss this, especially as it is out of the heat, and usually not much of a wait. read more

This one gets four stars because younger children will love interacting with Crush....This show lasts 20 mins and consists of Crush interacting with children. Although the show keeps the children entertained it's not the most fun for adults. If you don't have younger kids I suggest skipping this one. Still giggling about this silly turtle! Great interactive show where kids think they are really talking to Crush. Kids sit up front on the floor and parents in back on benches. Not a large room so no need to worry about not finding your child in the end. Crush swims around the screen picking kids out of the crowd and asks questions. DUDE!! What's up Dude? You are so cool - Dude! :o) If there is one thing every parent should do at Epcot, is make sure they take their kids for an interactive session with Da Coolest Dude of all times - Crush. I am seriously giddy thinking about it - as if I am being transported to the time when I was 7 years old. It is that much fun... (ok stop it now....) Well, to put it as precisely as I possibly can - anything that puts kids in a situation where they are encouraged to raise their hands and ask questions is a winning situation - I think. That only teaches kids to be inquisitive and social in one shot. And our dude Crush does a fab job at that. Again, the base line assumption here being your kids either are aware of Nemo or love turtles or love animals in general. Now that is not too much asking. If this holds good for little kiddos accompanying you, do take them to this so much fun session. I can go on and on and on about the sense of humor at play here. I wish I could meet the voice and the brains behind the smarty pants Turtle - Mr. Crush. And that's the absolute joy of witnessing your kid(s) get totally absorbed in this magical experience -and secretly you wish you get to raise your hand and ask Crush a question or two yourself... Duuuude..... this one is, liiiike, totally radical. Naw... really duuude. I always feel like I stepped into surfer land in this show. But it is entertaining. Especially for the kids. Crush actually interacts with the kids. He talks to them, answers questions, and leaves them with a decent lite conservation message. It is fun but make sure you well behaved child is sitting up front. Better chance for some interaction. If you have a smaller kid, you can always sit in the back row and hold them up or on your shoulders. It's a fun little excursion before or after Nemo. Probably better than the dissapointing Nemo ride. read more

Going to Disney parks is so much better with kids. After riding on The Seas with Nemo & Friends, we checked out some of the post ride aquariums and we went with the kids to Turtle Talk with Crush. It was my first time. That was a pretty cool experience for the kids. They got to interact with Crush and ask him any question. Apparently you had to be a kid on the floor in the front to interact with Crush. An older kid among the benches was desperately trying to get in a question. read more

I had absolutely no idea what this attraction was when I went into it. We were just walking around The Seas at Epcot and spotted it. The cast member informed us that it was starting so we walked in. You're ushered into a dimly lit room with benches and a carpeted area for kids to sit in at the front. Once the show started Crush the turtle from the Finding Nemo movies swam up on a large video screen and started talking to the kids. We all looked at each other with a "what are we doing here?" look and groaned. However, it didn't take long to realize that this couldn't have been a pre-recorded video because Crush was reacting to and commenting on the exact things people in the room were saying. Someone must have been in a control room watching the audience and controlling the character of Crush. It was fascinating to watch because Crush will turn his head to look at someone, swim around the screen, and talk with his lips in sync to the audio. The kids in the room bought it 100% that he was really there. Whoever was controlling Crush for our show was completely hilarious and an expert at what they were doing. It was digital puppetry at its finest. If the person controlling Crush wasn't good this experience wouldn't have been half as entertaining. We were all pleasantly surprised by this attraction. read more
