I love my apartment! what helped me make a definite decision to move here was Gloria the property manager! She was so welcoming and helpful. She made the process so easy . I have been here going on 3 years and I have never had any problems! Anything I need worked on or tidying up they get to it right away! I tried to rent here, so this review is on the leasing office. They almost never answer their phones. They denied my application because I apparently have "no credit," despite Experian showing me in good standing in both my credit cards. But at least they gave me my deposit back. And they are friendly when you do talk to them. read more

If you know how to run through process you would know that No Credit is better then having Bad Credit. There is a HUGE difference! Having no credit and being active duty is hard to make credit with only having a phone bill. I work as an administrator for the Marine Corps; this just made me really irritated due to they do not know what they are talking about because of uneducated management. Beautiful, quiet, affordable apartment community! I have lived here for about five years, so I can give you my honest review about this hidden gem in La Habra, California! First of all, our apartment manager Beverly is simply amazing and very friendly! This apartment complex is a bit older, but the management has done a fantastic job of keeping the interior of the apartment units up to date! If you happen to find an available unit, you will most likely get the new floors, which I have seen and are nice. If you ever have an issue (for instance, my garbage disposal got stuck once), you put in a maintenance request, and they are on top of it! They will take care of you quickly! We recently got new washers and dryers in our laundry room, and they do have the capability for you to pay using a mobile app, which is super convenient [who carries quarters around?!]. Things to consider (this is an honest review!), this apartment complex is situated on a major street, so the traffic noise can be a bit much, but maybe you will be lucky and find a unit towards the back of the complex, and then it won't be such an issue! However, we are right next to Costco, so it's a short walk in case you need your Costco fix! No matter where you rent from, your rent is going to go up, so I won't comment too much on that, but I will say the rent increase has been reasonable each year. Safety has not been an issue around here. There are security cameras and this is a gated community, so I feel very safe here. You get one assigned parking spot in our gated carport area. If you have guests over, Costco parking lot is available (spaces closest to our apartment complex). Tenants seem to look out for each other and neighbors are friendly (and people are respectful and keep to themselves). Moving is a big deal, so do your research, and feel free to "shop around"....you will learn that this community offers reasonable rent rates [and really, rent in Orange/Los Angeles counties are ridiculous, but do your research]. If you are looking for a luxury experience with over the top amenities, this won't be your place [there is no gym, dishwashers in units, or a jacuzzi here], but overall I am so happy to live here! I have seen other reviews on here, and not sure about the negative reviews, but at least come for a tour, ask questions [Beverly is awesome at answering questions!], and check it out! read more

Lived at Tuscan for a few many years now, we love living here as it's always quiet and clean. The staff and management are always quick to resolve any maintenance or concerns my husband and I have ever had. Everyone whom has ever visited us always is impressed by the tranquility and the friendliness from our neighbors. It's nice and you run into the same people in the pool in the summer months so it's nice for the kiddos. read more

Rating this because this was my childhood apartment from 1998-2006. Man I had a blast here. My friends and I would play outside and swim all day. By night we would play video games and watch movies that we rented from Blockbuster (Which is now a Fast Auto Loans). Costco wasn't always there. Before it was a Ralph's where the guest parking was at. I remember there was a movie being filmed there. For two weeks straight we heard fake gunshots at 7 a.m while they were filming. It was a robbery scene. I remember all of our friends and family gathering to watch it on the AMC channel when it premiered. So awesome. What really made this place great for kids was that it was like a humongous park throughout, so the imagination was endless. My most cherished memories are from this place, and I wouldn't trade them in for anything. read more

My wife and I lived here for two years after we were married. We enjoyed it very much! It was always quiet and anytime anything in our apartment broke the maintenance man came and fixed it often times within that day. The cost is a little high for one bedrooms in my opinion but it is well worth it. We made many friends of our neighbors and had many get togethers as well. If you have people staying the night, they can keep their car right next door at the Costco parking lot. If you are considering this place for a future apartment, I would heartily recommend it! read more

Crooks and liars! First off my husband and I applied to live there in October of 2020. When we were potential residents, the woman that works in the leasing office was readily available and always picked up the phone. We did not get approved to live there which is fine, however in order to apply you have to pay an extra $200 that is refundable if you do not get approved. Well first off, after we submitted the application, days went by and it turned into a week where we had not heard anything in regards to the status of the application. We were calling the office everyday and leaving messages and the woman who works in the leasing office refused to return our phone call. I had to call their after hours number in order to get the woman to finally call us back. That's when she informed us we were denied. I do feel like race played a factor into the decision because the very next place we applied for had a stricter criteria and we were approved with no problem. I waited about a month to receive our refund in the mail and nothing came. I started to call her and leave messages and she refused to call me back for 2 months! It was at the end of December 2020 where I left a message threatening a law suit where she finally called us back. We figured out there was a mixup with the rerun address. She's so incompetent while trying to tell her the proper address, I had to give to her at least 5 times over the phone. The street name is a simple Spanish decent common name that is easy to spell. I'm not sure why she had so much trouble writing a simple street name. It's almost 2021 and we still don't have our money. I would never do business with them again. The incompetence and unprofessionalism of this office is unbelievable. Do not stay here! read more

If you ever need something to be fixed, they give you a 48 hrs window period so you have to stay home for 2 days if you want them to fixed it. Otherwise they will reschedule in about one month. I told them that the door screen in my kitchen has a big gap and insects can easily fit and there answer were that they have to same problem but you have to get used to it---in other words--- they never fix it. It took them about 2 1/2 months to fixed a broken blind window in the living room. My bedroom door didn't closed for about 6 months because they didn't care to fixed it. We updated the patio and spend over $500 because only have dirt and a lot of flies (disgusting ) and they charge us $80 for cleaning the patio, even though we spent $500. They charge an excessive amount for cleaning and painting when you left the apartment. So basically you are left with couple of dollars from the security deposit. read more

My family has lived here almost 3 years now and I love living here. It almost feels like a resort! Its very peaceful and quite. There's lots of greenery and trees and the whole complex is always very well kept! Gardners are here every week. The laundry room and pool are always clean. The apartment managers are very nice and friendly. If you need any maintenance done, its taken care of asap! I feel safe here. There are security cameras and nobody can just walk on in unless the resident buzzes them in. Everyone gets a spot in the carport plus there is a good size parking lot for your extra car. If you have guests they can park at Costco which is literally right next door. We were also lucky enough to get one of the apartments that has a small yard for my kids to play. This is a great location because it is so close to so many eating places, gas stations, stores etc.There is a park down the street and schools are nearby. Overall I highly recommend choosing Tuscan Villas!! read more
