We evaluated around 6-7 companies, and off the recommendation of a neighbor we had Letts come out. I was a bit hesitant because you are charged for a minimum of an hour, there is no free estimate. However, in that time he shored up a leak with a temporary patch and had an estimate of how much work it would be to take care of everything, which ended up being much more reasonable than some other places we evaluated. Adam came back when he had enough open schedule to fix everything and some parts were shipped in. An incredibly nice guy, and just an incredibly fair and integrity oriented operation. All the vendors I evaluated were five stars with many reviews, but Letts was the only one that didn't feel like I was being upsold and he was just out there to help me solve my problems. Honestly can't wait to hire them again, which is an absurd thing to say about a plumber, but man what a great experience. I will rave about them to anyone who will listen.

They most recently removed an old water softener and installed new copper piping where the softener connections were. Oddly, the tech charged us for new copper while keeping the copper sections he removed, saying he was adding it to their collection. I get not being able to reuse the sections connected to the old valves but there was some that could have been reused, or left for our recycling. Not a huge deal, just seemed odd that he mentioned keeping it for their future use. We'll still use Letts and recommend them to friends. They're very prompt. The work is done well. And the job sites are left clean.

Juan and his team were highly responsive, professional, and fair with their pricing. They solved the issue quickly and were great about following up to make sure everything was taken care of properly. What really stood out was their ability to come up with a cost-effective solution. Instead of recommending a major tear-out and replacement of the existing drain trap in the slab floor, Juan suggested a retrofit component that solved the problem without the need for extensive demolition. This saved us a significant amount of money and disruption to the property. We really appreciated that they took the time to find the right solution rather than simply recommending the most expensive option. Their communication, responsiveness, and professionalism throughout the project were excellent. We'll definitely be using Juan and his team again for any future plumbing repairs or work needed at the property. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in the Concord area for high quality plumbing services.

The staff was friendly and professional, and they were able to schedule an appointment relatively quickly. The In Demand plumber was professional and thorough during the visit. He checked most of my fixtures, took the time to assess the situation, and provided several options with clear pricing. I also appreciated that the quote was submitted in a timely manner. I requested the consultation because I was experiencing water hammering when using multiple fixtures. Since diagnosing water hammering can involve a process of elimination to determine the underlying cause, I received several different opinions from the plumbers I consulted. In Demand was the only company that indicated my water pressure was high and identified that as the reason I needed a pressure-reducing valve (PRV). This gave me some pause because a plumber who had inspected the issue earlier told me that my water pressure was fine. However, In Demand was not the only company that recommended installing a PRV. The In Demand plumber also suggested replacing the valves on all of my fixtures. Ultimately, each plumber who provided an estimate had a different opinion about what might be causing the water hammering. Given the uncertainty surrounding the exact cause, I decided to start with the simplest and least invasive solution: installing a washing machine water hammer arrestor, which was recommended by another company. Although I ultimately decided to pursue a different solution, I appreciated In Demand's professionalism, thorough assessment, clear pricing, and the multiple options they provided. Overall, my experience with the company during the consultation and estimate process was positive.

We were replacing a gas water heater with a hybrid electric heat pump water heater. Generally, this…read moretype of heater costs twice as much (price and installation) as a traditional electric water heater, but costs a lot less to run (and therefore you recoup the additional cost in a few years from lower operating costs). I had a very easy experience getting an on-site quote. I received 3 quotes for this job. 2 quotes, including this one, came in around $7100. I went with a third one at around $6700 (which included an additional mixing valve) and am very happy with my decision. Overall price was not a big part of my decision, but brand of water heater was. After doing some research online, the most recommended brands are AO Smith and Rheem (GE). Both higher quotes were for Navien, which has only been making heat pump water heaters for 1 year, but I was told that it is the most reliable brand. I did not understand how this claim could be made, given how short the duration of evaluation for this product. Even the worst appliances usually work for at least a year. So I requested a quote for AO Smith or Rheem, which I did not get. I'm not sure why my brand request was not honored, but it made me question whether I should go with a company that either has communication issues or maybe some type of deal with Navien that I was not informed about. Many water heater installers are preferred installers of certain brands, which means they can get better pricing, etc. I did not want to be a guinea pig for Navien.

Alex sent our technician, Rojo, who helped install a new 40-gallon gas water heater in our indoor utility closet, and he was incredibly diligent, professional, and efficient from start to finish. Installing a tank in an inside closet can be tricky, but Rojo handled the entire job seamlessly in just 2 hours. He replaced everything with high-quality components, including: * New hot and cold water flex lines * A brand new water shut-off valve * A new gas flex line and sediment trap * Fully reworked earthquake straps (to meet California safety codes) * Properly updated T&P line and venting He also took care of the removal and disposal of our heavy 18 yr old tank, leaving the utility closet completely clean. If you want fair pricing, expert specialized service, and a technician who respects your time and home, call Water Heater Masters and ask for Rojo. Highly recommended!
