I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment and had checked my dog in online beforehand. The Groomer, Kayla, was told he was fearful of the hairdryer. I asked that she skipped the drying and she stated he would be in and out. My dog has not had good experiences at this location so I was apprehensive about leaving him. When I didn't hear back after an hour and a half for just a bath that I was told would be in and out, I stopped in to check on him. Three groomers were sitting and leaning, having a personal conversation. No dogs on the grooming tables on a busy Saturday. I stated I wanted to check on my dog after I was not greeted or asked if I could be helped. I was then told that Kayla went to lunch and my dog was left in a kennel for an hour and a half without being bathed. I am livid that my dog was placed in a kennel and never attended to. I will never ever use PetSmart grooming services, especially this location again. I never intended to, but thought I would give them one more chance. Please keep in mind my dog was in the kennel for an hour and a half while the Groomer was at lunch. This is the most disappointing location and has been for quite some time. He gets his grooms elsewhere due to previous issues at the store so we will not ever be back. I just wanted someone to know because people do still lineup to drop their dogs off with these uncaring unprofessional people

Earlier this week I stopped at Wags & Whiskers for some help with my animals who decided to go on a hunger strike simultaneously. I had forgotten how nice, and necessary, it is to shop local. The folks here have always been so friendly and helpful. Fixed all my critters with one trip and sent me home with some samples just to be sure. While there is the convenience with online shopping, we lose the human contact and helpfulness of shopping local. So this is a reminder, we are blessed with so many wonderful local businesses. She greeted us when we entered and let us know when the items for her cooler would be arriving ( we were there pretty early). We ordered an Americano with cream and a cold brew with cream. This is the first place out of many where the staff asked how much cream we wanted and poured it in front of us. I know it sounds like a little thing but it's the little things that add up. We also asked her about the animal adoption that they support and she was very excited to tell us about it. Once we hit the road, I looked up what Crossroads is all about and I'm in love! What a wonderful community supporting/ animal loving organization. If I lived here I would be here on the regular.
