Brought my kids recently and we have been to this location previously yet it's been years and this location seemed a bit run down. The tables need renovation as there was carved graffiti on the surface and the seating is run down. I really wanted more fresh fruit in my yogurt yet the topping bar fruit was very sparse. No one was at the counter while we were at the topping bar so wasn't able to ask for help. I got the strawberry frozen yogurt and honestly, the flavor was very lackluster. Let me start off by saying I love tutti Frutti! I have visited several locations. However, this location is the WORST! The trash inside (2 cans) were completely full, one overflowing. Floors had the sample cup and toppings all over. The topping section... insert the green puke emoji. Frozen yogurt station was so messy and tub were full of melting yogurt. I was absolutely shocked. When I asked the young gal at the register if she was the only one working, her answer was " no there's someone in the back." Well, they need to get. Up front and clean. Yikes. Yogurtland is further to my home so I tried this place, it is filthy. The shopping center it is in seems like a descent location, lots to shop around for. I decided to take my kids considering this is closer to home, the bathroom seems like it's never been cleaned, stains everywhere. They barely had options for toppings, the yogurt dispensers were all leaking with plastic Tupperware underneath to hold the leaks. The tables and floor all dirty. This was our first time stopping in here. My kiddo was stoked to come here. The selection was decent. We all got a variety of flavors. Then, you head to the next best stop. The toppings portion. The yogurt was great and they would have received 5 stars for that BUT.... my husband and I got to tutti Frutti at 8:00pm. We sat outside until around 9:30pm eating our yogurt and talking. The employees locked the door to the building at 8:38pm. Six separate groups of people walked up to the door and tried to open it but couldn't. All 6 groups were there before 9:00pm, why were they locked out? The employees inside ignored the knocking and refused to serve the potential customers. If the store closes at 9:00pm, then it should be completely open for business until then. They missed out on at least 15-20 customers. It's disappointing to see employees behave so rudely to customers. read more

I like frozen yogurt and this place is convenient and clean. The toppings are always stocked well and the service is as good as it can be at a self-serve place lol. We've been multiple times and haven't had much of anything to complain about so we'll keep coming back. It does get busy summer evenings but that should be expected. Even still, the lines tend to move fast and toppings constantly get refilled. It's not too expensive either which I'm always happy about because my son likes to mix all kinds of crazy toppings in his cup! I've never tried their Buns or whatever they are. Yes, I have a sweet tooth, but frozen yogurt is one of the healthier options I have for satisfying these cravings. It's certainly lower in fat than many baked goods and there's something satisfying about enjoying this frosty treat on a hot summer day in Bakersfield. This particular Tutti Frutti location, in the Walmart center on the Northwest corner of Gosford and Harris, is much like the other Tutti Frutti locations in town. There are 14 frozen yogurt machines, though on my last visit only 13 were working. It is a self serve deal so as a customer you choose the size of the cup you wish to fill and then decide how much and of which flavors you'd like to have and then put your own toppings on it. Pricing is done based on weight; here they charge $.39/ounce. There are 14 flavos of yogurt to choose from and 41 toppings (8 of which were fresh fruit on my visit). There is a rotating flavor of the month (from June through August it is watermelon) and a flavor of the week (mint the week I was there). If you're good at math, you've probably already done the calculation to figure out that you can create hundreds, possibly thousands, of combinations from this many ingredients. Surely there is something here to please everyone. And if you're not already sold, they have free wifi. There's plenty of room to accommodate quite a crowd of yogurt lovers in here, with 11 tables inside and 5 tables (and a bench) outside. So what are you waiting for? Come on down! Froyo! I am not much of an ice cream, dessert type of person but I do enjoy it once in a great while. After grabbing lunch with my wife and kids we had a few errands to run and we decided to get some frozen yogurt. This is another one of those businesses that are near my home so it is a convenience for the most part. Tutti Frutti is simliar to Yogurtland if you've been to one of those, I would say the majority of separation are a few toppings, nothing real major. I chose the Banana flavor along with Peanut Butter, two things I like alot. For the topping I kept it simple with just a sprinkle of butterfinger candy, I have to say it could've done without the toppings. The flavor of each froyo was really good. My wife chose Mango and Taro, I didn't taste the mango but that Taro was pretty damn good. I would go back just for a little tub of that alone. My kids as always choose Cookies & Cream and pile up the toppings, kids will be kids but hey, I like Gummi Bears too. There is not too much seating here, but there are a few tables outside as well. Nothing here really wowed me except the Taro froyo but that alone doesn't call for too many stars. The girl at the register was friendly and the line wasn't too crazy. I like the Tutti Frutti yogurt chain. It's one of my favorite yogurt chains. However, I cannot stand this location. They have a bakery here and a cafe. The combined smell of baking bread, burning cinnamon, brewing coffee, and cold sweet milky yogurt is off putting. Sometimes, I walk in and get a hint of Pine-Sol with the ambiance. I get that this business is trying the maximize the retail space they have, but they're doing too much. It you've labeled yourself as a fro-yo, stick to focusing on that. read more
