That day September 3rd, when my friend was visiting from Tampa Florida and we were at the Citadel Outlet, we have noticed that they had Tutti Frutti inside the mall. Since they don't have one over there and we barely have one here in LA; before Panda Express, we had a sweet tooth and we both walked into this clean, place. Has indoor and outside seating along with nice decor inside the creamery. She got a cup of Vanilla frozen yogurt with lots of toppings, and I got the same, but plain in a cone. I don't like toppings on my ice cream or frozen yogurt. To me, it kills the actual taste and texture. We both got a great customer service by their employees and had our sweetness outside. It was very refreshing on a nice, sunny day! Prices for both fro-yo's were affordable considering the nice portions. If I happen to be in this area again, I will definitely stop by. This small fro-yo store was located near the food court in Citadel outlets. They had about 7 flavors available. But the toppings area had lots of choices between fruits, nuts and chocolates. The store also sold drinks, candies and snacks. My daughter got the vanilla, cookies and cream, and chocolate flavors from the dispensers. The yogurt had good texture, wasn't watery. The toppings were fresh. I liked that a staff member was putting the toppings in the cups, instead of customer putting their hands. The checkout was quick. Price was good. We were visiting the outlets on a very warm day and looking for something to drink. But when we walked by Tuttle Frutti, my shopping partner and I both said "Yogurt!" at the same time. Tutti Frutti is a franchise, so I've been to them before. This one was a little smaller, but still had a good selection of flavors. We had to laugh because we didn't see any cups on the table next to the machines, so we assumed you had to ask for one. Turns out, they're right by the entrance, and we just didn't see them. Slighly embarrassing, but in my defense, I've seen that before at other frozen yogurt places. Unlike most frozen yogurt places, you tell them what toppings you want, and they add them for you. I love this as it keeps the area cleaner and avoids cross-contamination between items. They'll add as much, or as little as you want, so don't worry about them being stingy. Of course, you pay by the ounce, so I'm sure they have no problems piling on the toppings. What I also loved was $1.50 water bottles!! Sure, they're Kirkland brand from Costco, when it's close to 90 degrees out, who cares! (In all honesty, I didn't compare bottled water to the vending machines or kiosks selling bottled water, but I'm sure it's way more expensive.) They also had several snack options (chips, etc), which is a nice touch. Great place to get dessert or a cool snack if you're at the citadel outlets shopping! It's clean, and They have a variety of flavors and they definitely have that fruity feel / taste to it -- we got the pomegranate, mango, coconut, and pistachio ice cream. (I think the pistachio is the only one that isn't froyo) and the pistachio flavor was SO GOOD!!! There were a variety of toppings too and they all looked fresh. Over priced! I guess they are who they are at outlet yogurt shop. It's a small store located near the food court, where the starbucks is located. Inside the Chinese owner accepts the payments, but does not speak English so heads up! There is also a Latin employee and he speaks bilingual languages in Spanish and English very well. Their selection of yogurt ice cream are limited (4-5 flavors?) and standard toppings like fruits/chips/and etc. The yogurt it self is very dull and bland.. it almost doesn't taste like a yogurt ice cream....it feels like they added only half the flavor into all the flavors. The price seems little high! almost $5 for a little cup and it's enough to feed your self.. if you don't mind paying for the premium for small portion, go ahead! Y'all what the heck happened here. I was shocked when I saw the price total $10 for two yogurts because we didn't put much and almost always gets more at Yogurtland for less the price. We came into the store and a lady was by the yogurts asking if we wanted samples. She had to get it herself and give it to us instead of giving us cups. I asked for a pistacchio. It was aight. It was ice cream; it wasn't even yogurt. I asked for a French Vanilla one and she gave a face, so obviously I wasn't going to ask anymore after that but it doesn't matter anyway cause she went away with all the sample cups LOL. The texture was like runny baby poo, but at least it was FroYo. When days are hot (like it was over this past weekend) at the Citadel Outlet Mall and you're tired... FroYo will call to you. It beckons with its promise of cool comfort and unlimited toppings. Tutti Frutti is the only yogurt option at this huge outdoor mall. Like all Tutti Fruttis, this one features self-serve frozen yogurt and toppings. Eat as much as you want and pay by the ounce (over $0.40 per ounce). My cup came to just under $5. There are about 10 common flavors and two small sections for toppings. It is just the bare basics and nothing too fancy. Another major turnoff for this Tutti Frutti was a funky bleach/cleaner smell that smacked us in the face as soon as we entered the tiny store. We quickly loaded up and paid to escape it. The small store also was pretty warm as the little air conditioner / fan by the door wasn't keeping the customers cool at all. Luckily, there was a breeze and plenty of seats in the nearby food court. Funky smells, sticky handles, and runny PooYo means this Tutti Frutti is only for frozen yogurt emergencies ... proceed with extreme caution. read more

Bf and I walked into this Tutti Frutti after shopping around the Citadel on this 80+ degree day, hoping for some cooling froyo. I asked the cashier for sample cups and she happily handed me ONE. Sigh, ONE. I pointed to my bf near the froyo flavors and asked if he could have sample cups too, so she happily handed me ONE more. Sigh, ONE MORE. They had some decent flavors - Splenda Strawberry, Plain Tart, Blueberry (tart), Cookies & Cream, Vanilla (with visible bean flecks in it), Orange Sherbet, Caramel, etc. They had a pretty good fruit selection - lychees, strawberries (unsweetened, yay!), blueberries, mangoes, peaches, bananas, kiwi, etc. and a good dry topping selection - almonds, peanuts, granola, white and milk choc chips, cheesecake bites, etc. I ended up getting my usual fave - Cookies & Cream and some Plain Tart with tons of fresh blueberries and chopped peanuts on top. They had a special today where you get a free bottle of water with a purchase, so they handed us a receipt to show to the guy to get ours. Since my biggest beef with the self-serve froyo places is stinginess with sample cups, I had to take one star off what I normally would give them. Otherwise, they were friendly, the flavors were pretty good, and at 39 cents per oz. it was as expected. On a hot day in LA, there's nothing better than a cool treat. After doing a lot of walking and shopping today at the Citadel, I noticed a Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt sign. I've never been in a Tutti Frutti before but, given the heat and exhaustion, I was more than willing to give this place a try. Upon entering, you're welcomed by the vibrant colors, in addition to the nice embellishments hanging on the wall and the "ice cube" light fixtures. I noticed they only have one sorbet, orange sorbet, so that was my selection. Before buying this, I opted to sample it. There wasn't any sample cups, so other customers and I had to request the cups. The sorbet was "okay" but the coolness brought my body temperature down several degrees, so I was sold on the coolness alone. In terms of flavor, there wasn't much, and this sorbet was rather icy. As we were sampling and/or filling our cups, I couldn't help but notice an employee standing behind us watching. That's very rude to stand and watch customers and, to make matters worse, I later found out that was the store manager watching us. Talk about "icy". Having a feeling of discomfort about this place, I was ready to check-out. Before checking out, I decided to take some pictures of this place. When I put my fro-yo on the scale, a rude employee, named Karen, had the audacity to say "no pictures". She wasn't smiling when she made this statement, nor was she friendly. I just glanced at her because I knew she was young and inexperienced with dealing with customers. My tongue was hurting, as I had to bite it to keep from responding. So, I paid a whopping $2.61 for my fro-yo, as they charge $0.39 per ounce. This young lady didn't give me a receipt but, since she was rude, I intentionally requested a receipt and she seemed quite upset. I asked another employee for the manager but the employee referred me to the owner. The owner was receptive when I explained my less-than-perfect experience at this place and he informed me he'll talk with his rude employee. Fairly standard frozen yogurt shop. Unfortunately, not the best, nor even the best Tutti Frutti. The one in Oxnard is better. This one is about on par with the one in Ventura. The yogurt itself wasn't bad, but the restaurant wasn't particularly clean. There were teenagers coming in and taking multiple "samples" and then walking out without buying anything. A pushy middle-aged couple brushed my daughter away from the fruit selection so they could get a few extra strawberries before getting the yogurt weighed. The selection of fruits and treats is very limited, no cereals and only a few fruits. More candies and sauces. Also, the guy serving the yogurt was stuffing the spoons in the holder, touching all the mouths of the spoons. I'm not as worried about germs as some people, but I'm tired of getting sick and don't need an extra budge. Also, why are the "cups" of yogurt bucket-sized? Some adults are perceptive enough to see what they're doing, but kids don't. They think they're being gypped when they're told they can't fill it up. Needs some more sizes besides Costco-sized serving of frozen yogurt pail. read more

This place has lots of flavors and they seem to be changing them frequently (as I was sitting in the shop just consuming part of my lil bro's yogurt). It is self-serve and they have a wide selection of both tart and creamy yogurts. I felt that they tasted as good as Yogurtland, but I wasn't so please with the chocolate yogurt since it reminded me of the yogurt you would get at Souplantation/korean restaurants (obviously, nothing special if the taste is the same!). I was pleasantly surprised that this chain is actually international (even bigger than Yogurtland it seems!) and they try to be very trendy too. I found this particular branch to be quaint since (1) they sell Costco bottled water (what the heck? I never even knew you could sell them, but I found out yesterday!) (2) they sell cakes/egg rolls/cookies, but it didn't seem to be such a popular item even when it was sitting by the entrance, and (3) they sell clocks (cute ones, but they all cost around 20-60 bucks)!?! I turned to see a small asian girl asking if I needed any help. I said no and she disappeared. A second later an older asian lady asked if I wanted a sample and pointed out the sugar-free and lactose-free options. Not sure why you yelpers are complaining about lack of service because this was the friendliest, most prompt service I've ever had in any yogurt place. And is there a problem asking for another sample cup or refilling it to taste another flavor? Complaining about getting something for free is ungrateful, period. Pomegrante and mango yogurt were the best. Mango was the best of any yogurt place I've been to in L.A. Orange sherbert and strawberry were my second faves. The fruit was uniformly cut and carefully picked over to ensure only the best parts of the fruit was served. And they have grapes! No one has grapes! In the "candy" section they have dried cranberries. No one has dried cranberries! It's genius! They have funny little fruit jellies for another textural dimension. The combination was so good, I went back to get another as soon as I finished. Next time I go I really want to try the caramel yogurt. At .39 an ounce they are a little bit pricier than the other yogurt places but because they feature non-fat yogurt with the best toppings I'm willing to pay a couple pennies more. Out of all frozen yogurt places, like yogurt land, I prefer tutti because it tastes more like yogurt than icecream, meanwhile places like yogurt land have a more icecream formula. I got plain frozen tart yogurt with some of the strawberry yogurt and loaded my cup with kiwi, strawberries, blueberries and mochi.
