Love the apples! It's a must have when at citadel. Rocky road is my personal favorite. Custom service can improve , their attitude isn't the most welcoming. I feel rushed I understand it could get busy but that doesn't justify their customer service. My mom went and she wanted a rocky road apple the employee said they didn't have any but we could clearly see some in the back racks. We happened to ask another employee if we could have one and she didn't hesitate to give us one. So im confused why did the first employee not want to give us the apple in the first place. I heard raving reviews about their apple pie and cheesecake caramel apples so I just had to pick them up myself. Both rang up to about $12 a pop, which is pricy in my opinion. I wish their layer of caramel was a bit thicker on the apples. The cheesecake one was overpowered by what I think was the white chocolate layer. I did prefer the apple pie one better. read more

Had to make a yelp account to rave about this place. Great chocolate! I got help from a red head woman with tattoos great attitude, super friendly. Didn't rush me and actually answer all the questions I had. Been there multiple times and it seems like she is the only one that is not rushing anyone and actually greets you and is FRIENDLY which is very rare coming from that store since many workers seemed annoyed. All the workers can learn a thing or two from that worker. Would avoid that store before because I would have an unpleasant experience but if I see she's there I will have no problem spending any money . Great great great , keep up the good work! read more

The store is located inside the Citadel Outlet mall. There is a parking lot but quite busy on the weekends. I like the candied apples from this chain. I've tried apples from other boutique stores and it just doesn't taste right. They offer a good variety of flavors. I asked if they had apples covered in dark chocolate and the staff member was able to help. It tasted good. The apple wasn't soggy and the dark chocolate hit the spot, not too sweet. They also offer to slice into pieces for you if you like. The prices of the apples are not cheap but I consider it my splurge treat once in awhile haha. read more

One of the girls working there had a terrible attitude towards a Spanish speaking customer. She not only had a terrible attitude towards assisting her but also commented afterwards that ' she should just learn English.' I can never walk past a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory without purchasing a candied apple. I love my candied apples but my absolute favorite would have to be this place. They have the perfect Granny Smith apples that have the perfect ratio of tartness. For this particular visit I purchased the Pecan Bear Caramel Apple and Strawberry Cheesecake Apple. The Strawberry Cheesecake was actually a random pick by my boyfriend and we thought it was such a weird combination for an apple to be dipped in. But OMG it was soooo good!! My mouth is watering just by thinking about how tasty this apple was! Definitely worth the try! The Pecan Bear was great too especially when you are in the mood for some chocolate/caramel! I love my sweets!! My only issue is that my boyfriend makes me share! LOL If this is your first time at Rocky Mountain make sure you request that they cut the apple! It's raining its pouring the old man is snoring.... Despite the rain and me freezing my butt off. I wanted a Toffee Frappucino from this place. We use to have this store in Hawaii, nestled in the Waikele Outlet, and I just adored it. I enjoyed watching the workers cover the apples and make different concoctions. Service: On top of their game! My son and I were quickly greeted. I was so indecisive since it was a while since I got to wrap my mouth around their chocolate goodness. I wanted to make it a good one. The workers were very patient. Different workers would check back on me and offered to answer any questions I had. Items: My son decided on the caramel dipped, mini m & m covered apple. The woman helping me offered to slice it. It was perfectly cut for my 3 boys to share. I got different truffles to share with my husband. The Toffee Frappucino was so worth me shivering. It was blended well, had bits of toffee with each slurp, and at the end of the drink I was treated to chunks of toffee pieces. It was oh so satisfying. They sell all sorts of items from chocolate covered pretzels, fudge, pre packed goodies, truffles, chocolates, drinks, etc. Location: This is store is located in the Citadel outlet. I was at a shopping mall where there were two places to potentially get a caramel/candy substances covered apple. Of course, I went to the one that acted like I was a total mall shopping loser by asking if they could cut said apple bomb into slices -- there was much eye rolling at me and huffing before they said they weren't allowed to use a knife.... to cut the apples.
