Oreo Gelato (1/5): Really hate giving 1-star reviews but this was the worst gelato I've ever had. It wasn't very creamy and sticky the way gelato should be, and was pretty icy instead. The flavor was also pretty bad and left a bitter aftertaste. The portion size is big, but that's not a good thing when you don't want to eat it... (I also tried a bite of the mint chocolate chip and literally spit it out because of a weird fruity flavor mixed in.) Tutti is a cute little gelateria in a charming neighborhood. The young woman behind the bar was friendly and knowledgeable about their flavors. If you've never been to Italy, I'd say you'll likely love their gelato. If you have, then the gelato is just about average by comparison. Overall, a nice experience that I would definitely recommend. read more

It was good! We just returned from Italy and know how it's really supposed to taste but this will do too! They don't have many flavors which was a bummer and I would suggest they add more life coffee and chocolate ! I like the nods to Europe in the decor and it's conveniently located near restaurants n other shops! Parking could be a challenge at the wrong time of the day. But if ever in the south end I'll visit again! read more

The ambience is really nice, and I would recommend this place overall. The gelato was good, though not amazing--I tried the pistachio flavor for the first time and enjoyed it. The only downside is that they don't have a baby changing station, which would be a helpful addition. read more

This is an urban location along the light rail line. There's every reason to get off at one of the nearby stops, including to get a delicious gelato. It is a large shop with Italian scenery, but the focus is clearly on the gelato display. My only regret is that I couldn't taste all the flavors. They had some good-looking dairy-free options, but I was tempted by a hazelnut-based creation and their version of mint chip. Both evinced the creamy texture and strong, grassy dairy flavor, but the specific taste of hazelnut and mint still shone through. It was a fresh, herbal mint with finely flaked chocolate. You can taste the quality, and the price was not much more than many lesser desserts. Every city needs a good gelato place. read more

This is just what we needed for those hot, summer date nights in Southend! We had dinner at Bulgogi Box...then within just a block's walk, we found this Tutti!! The place was quite spacious...and though the white walls made the place a bit stark, the green accents made it striking. Then their stand-out "selfie station" with this beautiful Italian backdrop and this mint motorcycle...like something out of an old Italian movie! As for the gelatos, they were awesome! I tried the Cookie 'n Caramel flavor, and they were possibly the best tasting gelato I've had in a long time. Both of my boys seemed to love their choices as well. My hazlenut gelato was great! There was no line when we walked in and were able to get served immediately. You can try the flavors to really figure out what you want. The inside is super cute and very accommodating for large groups. Note: The mint chocolate has a very fake mint/toothpaste flavor and the stracciatella was not as creamy as the others. read more

Came in on opening weekend and they were just about out of everything. Big bummer I didn't get try the flavors I wanted to but a good enough reason to come back. I was greeted and served by the owner. Very hospitable guy and great service. When asking how Tutti came about he said he was from Columbia and during a family trip to Europe they loved the gelato so much they wanted to bring it here! I love a good back story plus Charlotte needed a solid gelato spot. The owner was apologetic they were out of so much but I got plenty of samples. The foodie in me loved that I wasn't guilted for sampling several flavors. I settled on amaretto & kookies and caramel. Highly recommend amaretto! It was divine! I also liked coffee (made with real espresso) & strawberry cheesecake. Unlike Jeni's you cannot mix the flavors (no half and half scoops). I wasn't a big fan of this but at least they have good reason- cross contamination for nut allergies. It's definitely on the pricier side of ice cream especially if you don't want to commit to just 1 flavor. I will say you can taste the quality- which isn't always the case. The space is really cute and bright inside. If gelato isn't for you they also have pastries, coffee and espresso drinks. Nestled right along the rail trail- great location. There's street parking but I wouldn't bank on that during weekend hours in the summer. Was it my favorite gelato? No. Is it the best in Charlotte? Yes. Will I be back? Also yes. read more

This is a fun and delicious place! Tutti Gelato is Charlotte's newest gelato place located in one of the coolest areas of the city (South End) with plenty to do around within walking distance. The menu has quite a few options of flavors to choose from. It also has coffee options of you are in the mood for just that. The service is great, the ambiance and common areas are clean and very Instagrammable. There is plenty of street parking around. Overall, 100% recommended. read more

DELISH! This place is really good. We've only been here once, but the gelato is outstanding. Gelato spots are really hard to find in my opinion, and Charlotte just happened to get 2 gelato shops within the last year. I can't remember the flavor we got, but we got 2 scoops of two different flavors and also were able to sample 2 flavors (the one downside), but of all the ones we tasted, I already had my mind made up when I saw the flavors. Best gelato in Charlotte! Highly recommend for anyone in the area - get something cold in this weather. This is new to the neighborhood. With Jeni's on one side and Two Scoops on the other, it is challenging to survive the business. They do offer traditional gelato flavors such as pistachio and a few creative ones such as unicorn. Servers are friendly. I've been here a couple of times and are happy with what I get so far. The price is fair. $8+ for two scoops pre-tax. They said pastries will be added in the future, and I will come back and update the review then. There are a few small tables for dine-in and a Tutti-customized motorcycle (guess just for photo). The store is Morandi colored which feels fresh. read more

I remember when this placed opened and I couldn't wait to give them a try. I love gelato and after having lunch in the area I walked over for dessert. I was a little surprised it was empty and the person taking my order had nothing to say....no 'may I help you or take your order' just a blank stare....anyway I ordered and was on my way out. I absolutely LOVE this gelato place. I met the owner who was serving the yummy goodness behind the counter on my very first visit, and we chatted about my dog (which he had no problem being inside), and he offered as many tastings as I needed to find the perfect flavor. Honestly, every one was delicious. I went with strawberry cheesecake, but all were incredible. He was very kind, and I've been back in multiple times since then now to pick different flavors and chat with the family that works there! The owner even gave me a free cone on top of my ice cream bowl because I was having trouble eating it with a spoon when I had my dog's leash in my other hand. Just delightful. Real gelato. Not fauxlato. Not trying to turn cashews into cows. The owner from Argentina (aka an overseas province of Italy - did you know Messi is an Italian citizen (and proud Gaucho too)? ) and she is a true student of global gelati. We were comparing notes once about a really good place in Porto. Once they had no stracciatella in the display case and I asked. The guy (gelista?) ran in the back and got me some from a fresh batch. What more could you want? There's a Vespa in the corner as art. Great people watching along the rail line and urban greenway. Try it! read more

Walked by this place during my walk and decided ti check it out. I tasted the Vegan Strawberry and Pistachio, and I decided to go with Pistachio. Both flavors were pretty good, Strawberry was refreshing and fruity. Pistachio was creamy and nutty with a well-balance pistachio scent. The service was also good. The staff was very nice and happy to let me taste different flavors. The ambiance was bright and airy, and they put a whole Vespa inside. Brand new gelato spot that opened in south end! They have many different flavors and were very generous about letting you try as many as you wanted during that soft opening week. I ended up going with the Tiramisu in a small cup and it was delicious. They also had a lot of other great flavors. The inside was clean and bright, with plenty of seating. Apparently there was a ton of seasonal options that they ran out of, but the fact that there wasn't a chocolate brownie, dark chocolate, or chocolate peanut butter, or any Reese's of any kind was a bit upsetting. Those seem like pretty standard flavors which are fan favorites, but they weren't there. It's not to say that we didn't enjoy the experience, but they could use a lot of work by having more flavors, considerably more topping options, and even dipped waffle cones.

Great mouth feel, rich, but not sweet. We tried the chocolate with cookies and Oreo pieces and the mint chip. Very very tasty. Again, if they did not tell you this was dairy free, you could not tell at all. They offer tastes, you can get one or two scoops or waffle cones, or ice cream sandwiches, and I think you can ask for sprinkles. They have a friendly staff behind the counter. They are also cashless, so be sure to have a credit card here. I would definitely come back for another flavor, I was really wowed by this ice cream. If you are in Camp North End, stop in for a scoop.

Sadly I was only able to narrow it down to two flavors - banana dream pudding (I'm usually not into banana but this is GOOD!) and peppermint patty. It was a weird combo but it worked! No matter how many new places pop up, nothing ever compares to the quality and creativity they bring to every single scoop. You can always taste the difference. The flavors are always so thoughtfully done, from the classics to the more unique combinations they come out with season by season. It's the kind of place where you end up trying something new every time and somehow it becomes your new favorite. The South End location is such a great spot too. They have seating both inside and outside which makes it perfect whether you want to sit and enjoy a sunny day or just take a quick break while you're out walking around. It always feels like a little reset in the middle of the day. And the team there truly makes the experience. Every time I go in, they are so kind, patient, and so beyond helpful when you're deciding between flavors which is not easy to do. You can tell they actually care This place never disappoints and is one of those spots I keep coming back to again and again. Absolute favorite.

So which version are customers supposed to believe? Regardless of who is saying what, the outcome is the same. They lost several customers yesterday, and we will not be returning after this experience. After talking to a lawyer, they believe this is predatory enforcement, and we will file a complaint with the North Carolina Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division and with the Better Business Bureau. Two Scoops Creamery on Central Avenue went from being one of our favorite spots to somewhere we will never return in less than a minute. We met up with a group of friends there today. Before grabbing ice cream, we briefly stopped into Sin City next door. As one of our friends was walking in, he noticed cars in the shared parking lot were actively being booted. We had been there maybe 15 minutes. Apparently, if you step into the neighboring business at all -- even if you're planning to purchase from Two Scoops immediately after -- they will boot your car and demand $275 to remove it. We spoke directly with the staff at Two Scoops and explained that we were simply meeting up and didn't realize stepping next door wasn't allowed. The response was essentially, "Too bad." There was no grace, no warning, no attempt at understanding -- just an immediate $275 penalty. It feels like an incredibly predatory and unethical practice, especially for loyal customers who intended to support the business. We didn't even stay for ice cream, and we won't be back.

It's located in Plaza Midwood so I usually have to walk a few blocks after searching for parking for at least 30 minutes. I guess it's a good way to burn off the calories you will be consuming. Overall, it's a great place to walk to and grab an ice cream or bubble tea.
