Food is good. Delicious. What ruined it for me was a sneaky server offering me regular or sparkling water. I said regular and figured out after too late it was still water from a bottle for 9.50. This is a heartbreaking review. Why? Because Tutto on Key Biscayne has been our go-to eatery for years, a place we trusted for the ambiance, delicious food and service. Last Sunday, my husband and I visited Tutto for dinner. We asked for indoor seating since it was so hot outside. As soon as we approached our table, I noticed 2-3 fruit flies hanging around the area. I swatted them but didn't think much about it. As I poured the oil and balsamic vinegar on the bread tray, I noticed one fruit fly swimming in the vinegar (see pics and videos). I immediately called our waiter, Andres, and showed him the fly on my plate and others flying around. Andres apologized and brought me another freshly warmed baguette. For the second time, I noticed a couple more dead fruit flies in the vinegar while more fruit flies continued to fly around. That's when I realized that the fruit flies were coming out of the vinegar bottle! Meanwhile, my husband, who is farsighted, had finished his bread dipped in the balsamic vinegar. I once again called Andres and showed him. Again he apologized and removed the vinegar bottle from our table as well as the ones on the tables next to us. By this point, my husband and I were quietly upset about the ordeal and questioned the cleanliness of the place. We paid our $100+ bill and left without any courtesy discount from management for the less than favorable situation. They will not be seeing us again and unfortunately, we will not be recommending the place to our friends and family on the Key. :( read more

I had the panini truffato. It was okay, I wouldn't have it again just because there was practically no chicken. I don't even remember tasting chicken. I thought I had ordered the wrong one because I couldn't find taste the chicken. I can't speak for the service because I didn't dine in, I ordered for pick up. The restaurant is very warm and welcoming and has nice decor throughout. The menu has your standard Italian dishes like chicken parmigiana but also some more exciting options like seafood risotto or lobster ravioli. My mom got the Greek salad and fried mozzarella. She liked both. The mozzarella looked nice and crispy. The salad was very basic but got the job done. I had the gnocchi with tomato sauce. The gnocchi pasta was very good, it was soft and squishy which I enjoyed. The sauce had chopped tomatoes in it which was different and it tasted very fresh. However, it was a little acidic for me. The service was okay, some people were friendly than others. The only odd thing was that the bathroom is outside of the restaurant and up the stairs. I can imagine this being very annoying if the weather is bad outside. Overall, I'd come back as this is a solid Italian restaurant and I'd like to try the risotto. I've been a fan of this chain from their original location just over the causeway in the Roads section, so I was happy when bae pointed out their Key Biscayne spot and the fact it was close to where the Yelpies were being held. The fact that I was able to get some soup on basically the coldest night of the year thus far made it a must try. It's located in a shopping plaza off Crandon, and next to a couple other different restaurants, bakeries and other businesses. Service was very attentive, with the manager and waiter helping me out. This is consistent through that chain. Their bread and balsamic glaze is easily my favorite among Italian restaurants. The way they bake their fluffy rolls (with a hint of sweet) and their crispy breadsticks is awesome. I'd go just for that. A hearty and hot cup of lentil soup was flavorful and helped me to start thawing out. I ordered their lasagna, since I was fiending something with red meat and plenty of marinara sauce. As it were, I requested light on the cheese and heavy on the sauce. While the pasta was nicely al dente and the lasagna was overall delicious, I say it needed a little more red sauce. That's just a a matter of preference and next time I will request an added side of marinara or arrabiata. read more

We were driving with my family and 2 chihuahuas to the park, and we planned to stop by some pizzeria to take pizza with us To be honest, I didn't really like the "courtesy" of the staff, the fact is that they didn't even transfer water to my dogs while we were waiting for the order, and they didn't kindly take me to the cashier where they were supposed to order their pizza. I understand that if I order with me, then the waiter does not serve me, which means they did not receive a tip. But first of all, the institution should work for the service of services! This is a very nice authentic Italian restaurant. The inside seating is a good size with a cool bar, but it was far too cold, so we ate outside. There's just a few tables outdoors, but the temperature was perfect for dining in December (high 70s). Our server was nice, and helped us choose what to drink. Unfortunately, the Italian Lager bottled beer and Italian draft beer were not in stock. Thankfully, the Italian bottled spiced beer they suggested was pretty good. The provided complementary bread and breadsticks were a nice touch. They also pour olive oil and vinegar for dipping. The olive oil was good, but the vinegar tasted too sweet for me. They brought me unsalted creamy butter which was delicious on the bread. The brick oven Diavola 12" large pizza we ordered was perfect--thin, charred crust, lots of cheese, and spicy salami. The worst waitresses I've ever had in an Italian pizzeria! Very unfriendly, unprofessional and rude! I walked in with my boyfriend and said hi, do we just sit down or do we get seated and all I got was a blank stare and dirty look. I don't even think Italians work in this pizzeria because if they did they'd be very warm and friendly, my boyfriend and I are Italian from NYC and we know how it should be. Pizza was alright but was missing major garlic flavor, didn't taste Italian and the prosciutto should have been placed on the pizza while it was cooking, not thrown on as an afterthought. I think the owner needs to fire all the staff and hire some real Italian people because you're giving Italians a bad name by having people with no personality pose as an Italian restaurant. This place was recommended by the concierge at the Ritz Carlton as we just felt like staying in and keeping it simple. We ordered two Caesar salads, meatballs, pepperoni pizza, and two pasta dishes. One with a pink sauce and the other with a cream sauce. The meatballs were good. The rest of the meal was meh. For two large Caesar salads, they gave two little containers of dressing. Needed two per order of salad. Salad would have been good otherwise. Pizza dough was very thin and didn't seem homeade. The pasta dishes were average. I really can't recommend this place. i asked the concierge about another place that was rated 4.5 stars and he said they weren't good anymore since the couple divorced. This place is great! The food is delicious and the prices are great. You can not miss out on the Filet Mignon Carpaccio appetizer- it's so good and has artichokes which is a great addition to the carpaccio. Other favorites include the Burrata, the Diavola pizza, Al Prosciutto pizza, the personalized lasagna (literally your own personal baked lasagna dish- how could you go wrong), and my personal favorite pasta dish is the Pear Ravioli! This place is great for sharing too which is what I love to do when going for Italian. They also have stellar desserts! Their salad too! - Keep in mind, this place gets BUSY. Make sure you make a reservation &/or call ahead. I have often walked in to pick up an order & they are filling large delivery orders. I would call before you go pick up your order to make sure it is ready. They have specials different days of the week, don't forget to ask about these. We don't know how the food tasted because it had a lot of HAIR in it and horrible customer service because they refused to give me a refund (forcing me to order something else): I had a traumatic experience at this restaurant 4 years ago (July 6th, 2018). I realized I never wrote a review about this restaurant when I was SHOCKED they managed to open another location in Brickell. It's my responsibility to warn people to not waste their money and time here. My partner and I arrived at the restaurant at 9:36PM and were seated immediately. After about an hour we finally got our food. I remember my partner ordered a lasagna and PULLED STRANDS OF HAIR out of his mouth. I wanted to puke. We didn't want any problems so we ushered the waiter over to kindly ask if we could please get a refund because we can't eat this and we waited an hour. I don't think we were asking for something unreasonable. We just wanted to leave and go home to cook. He left to ask his manager. The female manager stated she CAN NOT refund me and forced me to pick another item on the menu that would take another 30-45 minutes.... We reluctantly chose a pizza. As we were on our way home, I realized that we were probably treated unfairly and with prejudice because we were young. So we drove back demanded a refund and to return our uneaten pizza we never wanted. She finally gave us our refund after we told other people in the restaurant how poorly we were treated. Tutto makes one of the best carbonara pasta in town. I discovered KB's Tutto Pizza and Pasta a few months and became an instant believer. Few visits later... To start I highly recommend the beef carpaccio. Definitely a fantastic choice to share and munch to get your appetite going. Dress with evoo and anged balsamic and your taste senses will go wild. That balsamic was liquid gold. Seriously. Back to the pasta, linguine alla carbonara was absolutely amazing. I love carbonara and judge execution toughly. The food here is AMAZING - service is the complete opposite. Hence the 2/5 stars. Food was seriously amazing - it's too bad our server never came to us, refilled drinks, and stood over my husband watching him when we were paying the bill seeing how much we would tip. When we first walked in, doors were open but the guy at the front was on his phone telling us he can't serve us until they opened. We said we would wait outside which wasn't okay with them. Not sure if we would go back. When the sever saw how much we tipped (he literally stood there watching us over my husbands shoulder) he grabbed the iPad, made a "ruff" sound and left. Great place to come to in Key Biscayne! They have a lot of good options in their menu to chose from. This one serves both pizza and pasta unlike the one in the roads that is either or. Prosseco Mojito is a must try! Delicious and they are usually two for one like the sangrias. Brick over style pizza so it's very crunchy. My family begged me not to leave a review. All ended well, they said, we are on vacation, they said, let it be. And I would ... but today we had dinner at verasaies, spelling, and for about the same price level of enjoyment was much much much higher. So - the good - bread and balsamic glaze are amazing ( we actually bought a bottle ); pizza was nice; fettuccine was nice. Waitress was very polite, gorgeous, and really trying! And the bad, that outweighs the good. We got in from a very long flight, starving, almost empty restaurant. We bout our bread quickly, and calamari eroded quickly ( yes, also amazing ). And then we waited. And waited. And waited. We reminded that we are waiting - we were told that kitchen is busy ( see above - place was almost empty ). We waited more. We waited more. My family stopped me from getting up and reminding several times. Several times various waiters and manager would glance at us. And then they would glance over us. At the end - I told manager that this is the longest wait I ever experienced IN A restaurant. Miraculously - our food appeared on our table in 5 minutes. Minor other observations - seafood risotto is not risotto. It is a rice porridge with seafood inside of it. Price charged for it was higher then price On The menu. And really, this is no big deal compare to the loooooong wait. And yes - the Cuban restaurant we visited today, that in comparison caused me to write this review - packed. Really packed. Prompt service. Everything appeared when it had to appear. And for the price of ratios risotto ( rice porridge with few seafood artifacts embedded), you get a huge dish of pure seafood, including half of lobster tail. I guess when you are in Key Biscayne you have to pay more for less. And this is why we have a car rental. read more
