My wife had the pleasure of working with Tuyen on our wedding day. We booked her for a wedding trial for hair and make-up and for the big day. We communicated mainly via text message and she was always very responsive (within hours). A few days before the trial she recommended for my wife to bring inspiration photos to help guide her in a particular style my wife was going for. It takes about 2 hours for bridal hair and make-up but time flies by so fast when you are with Tuyen. She has a fun and down to earth personality and was super easy to talk to. On the day of the wedding, we had Tuyen and her team do hair and make-up for my wife, 4 bridesmaids, and 3 family members. We had an early Chinese tea ceremony that day so we had a super early start. We told Tuyen we wanted to be done in a particular time and she delivered. Tuyen was super efficient in time management and sent us a time-table schedule that breaks down the time so each girl knows what time their own hair make-up starts and which artists to go to. Tuyen came with 2 artists, Isabella and Lois. They were definitely the dream team! Lois is very skilled in hair and was able to use the hair accessories we brought in. Isabella is amazing with make-up, all of my ladies love and adored her. The girls had received numerous compliments throughout the wedding day, all thanks to Tuyen and her team. Tuyen is the sweetest person ever! I was so lucky to have had Tuyen do my hair and makeup for not only my wedding but also my engagement shoot. She is super responsive and really easy to communicate with. She's really good at making you look natural. Being someone that doesn't wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis, I didn't feel like I was changed into a completely different person, but rather Tuyen accentuated my natural features. I saw one of my friends on Facebook's wedding makeup and years later when I was getting married, I knew I called her and she gave me Tuyen's number. I love her style because it brings out your own natural beauty. I saw many before/afters of other makeup artists and the after makes them look completely different and sometimes ridiculous. That was definitely not what I wanted. Tuyen is the absolute sweetest and easiest person to communicate with! You definitely will not have issues there. She is very organized and had me email her what I looked like without makeup, with makeup, my gown/hair pieces, and makeup/hair looks I wanted. I loved that she did that as I've had my makeup done before with artists who just showed up and asked me what colors I wanted so I really felt as though she cared. I go to Tuyen for all my make up and hair needs. You can tell that she has a passion for what she does. She's a perfectionist so she'll try to get that perfect look at the beginning. She's done make up and hair for years. She always tried to make you look natural and flawless rather than the clown look. She uses the best cosmetics too, not the typical MAC etc. Beyond that, Tuyen is an overall friendly and bubbly person.
