    9oz sirloin
    Christian B.

We arrived about 2 hours before closing. We loved the vibe here. It was nicely decorated, modern, and clean. The food was nicely priced and overall above average. Not the best sirloin steak I had, but overall pretty taste. The carnitas sandwich was good overall... but the avocado they used was underripe and thus was hard to cut into. Some slight hiccups, such as forgetting our drinks. We reminded two servers about the drinks and still didn't receive it until the end of our meal.

Never did receive the compensation that was promised by the owner for my inedible and uneaten meal. Manager called me and left a message to which I replied and left a message and then never heard back from.

They do not have outdoor dinning.

My wife and I have always loved the food at Twelve, but the service continues to be a major disappointment. We recently sat at the bar and were never greeted--no "I'll be right with you," no acknowledgment at all. After waiting more than five minutes without any interaction, we left and went to Dakota's down the street, where we were warmly welcomed and served immediately. Unfortunately, this has become a pattern. This was the third time we've walked out due to poor service. As much as we enjoy the food, the inconsistency in service has made it impossible for us to continue supporting Twelve. There are simply too many other great restaurants that value our business and provide excellent service every time. Would love for management to response and tell me why we should come back!

Salmon with broccoli, Castle & Key Bourbon, neat in a glen

Excellent choice in Tyler for either a dinner with friends, that special someone or if you are traveling for work and want a great meal and a nice bourbon at the bar, you can't go wrong. Was in town for a two day work trip and just sat at the bar. Very nice inside, good lighting, wood, glass, etc., bar is excellent with a huge wall of spirits behind and a very knowledgeable bar staff. Dress code can be dressy, biz casual or shorts and a t-shirt, which is why East Texas is so great. Excellent bourbon list and lots of additional offerings, not on the list, but on the bar. Served in a glencairn, which is my preference when drinking neat. Ordered the salmon with broccoli and came out quickly, perfectly tender on the inside, crisped on top and lots of flavor. Also, prices are really reasonable. It is, for sure, going to be my go-to whenever I am in town, highly recommended!

This was my first time here and if I'm in the area again, I'll be back. I'm not sure what I was expecting as I walked in but I was pleasantly surprised. The host on duty couldn't have been more lovely. Great attitude and her greeting felt genuine. As she led it us to our table....again I was very surprised by the decor. Great lighting. Not to dark. Not to bright. Everyone dining seemed to be be generously spaced out at that time of day. The menu is straightforward and the food arrived in a timely manner. No complaints there. The only criticisms I have are as follows: 1.) We were seated at a 4 top table (not a problem. we were happy with the extra room) and the server didn't remove the two additional roll ups and plates. They remained on the table for the entire meal. 2.) As our server brought plates, beverages, etc. to the table he didn't take anything away. By the end of our meal there were 7 glasses on the table. 4 of which were empty. All the plates from our meals plus the additional plates and the dessert plate. Needles to say it was a bit crowded. Other than that, everything was great. The wonderful host wished us a farewell and we left.

My friend and my girlfriend both ordered their espresso martini that my friend claimed was the best espresso martini in town, while I got the bartender's recommendation of the Animal Style, a pineapple and jalapeño infused tequila with strawberries, cardamom bitters, and a lemon peel garnish. Normally, I hate any drink that is spicy. I cannot stand a Bloody Mary because I don't believe drinks should be allowed to be spicy, but this one, for having jalapeño, is not spicy at all. If anything, it's slightly savory with its tropical flavor. The bartender was great. They have appetizers and tapas as well and as my girlfriend sat down, she really wanted just one of their fresh oysters. I ordered her just one to try and it was $4.25. They gave us the smallest one they could find. The tiniest oyster of all time. I guess size really didn't matter because according to her it was very good. I would go back and have a few more cocktails, but it is a nice place to hang out on the square on a Friday night. A good time to be had by all. RIYL: The finest, most $15ish cocktail you can find.

I was not to hot on the idea of eating at this place since bar food can be a "hit or miss" at it's best. Found the place, especially since we don't get to Tyler that often. Okay, doesn't look like a horrible place, around 3ish, I can do a late lunch, early dinner. Walk in, a couple of people in there, bartender tells us to set wherever we want to. Brings us menus, gets our drinks. The place has a Vietnamese type menu with some really good looking burger sandwiches on it too, so I'm undecided of what I want. The bartender tells us that the burgers are the choice the crowds usually. I got the Sky Burger, I think that is what it was called. Excellent burger and choice. The Chef, owner and the bartender provided excellent service. The bartender was on top of his game always checking on us to see if we needed anything and if we were satisfied. They have a little stage, not a real big place and it looks like the draw the local crowd. They give a Veteran's discount on their menu items which I always ask for and appreciate. It look's like a neighborhood gem. We'll definitely stop back in when we're back in Tyler again because I want to try their fried rice that I saw on the menu.

When we arrived there were a few open seats but they looked pretty busy. After a while someone took our drink order. I wasn't timing but it felt like a long time before I was informed my drink couldn't be made because the blender was broken . I changed my drink and it came quickly. Then we placed our food order and our server repeated it back to us (which I appreciate). We received the chicken spring rolls first, they came with two sauces. The menu said the rolls came with a peanut sauce but I didn't taste peanut in either sauce so I requested the peanut sauce. Unfortunately, i just didn't like their idea of a peanut sauce. I honestly thought it was some kind of mustard. Anyway, the rolls were fresh but the vermicelli/lettuce ratios were super-off. Also - let's get real. If a spring roll doesn't have a good dipping sauce it's not any fun! The wings had a good sauce, we ordered Korean. But they were so crispy they were hard. The chips and queso came last which was a fun order for food to come to your table. The chips were a little stale, the salsa was fresh and had a little heat! It helped liven up the queso. I was disappointed when our initial server stopped coming to our table and sat at the bar. Which left the bartender to bus all the tables, deliver drinks and food, and tend the bar, which was full the entire time we were there! The atmosphere here could be really cool, I like the idea of a place to watch a local band, and have food & drinks. This is something Tyler needs so I hate to leave this review but I won't be going back for a while.

Great atmosphere, very clean and super friendly staff! Now, the important stuff: the food. We started by sharing a wedge salad, complete with bacon, blue cheese dressing, blue cheese chunks (yum!) and all the crispiness a wedge brings. Very fresh and the dressing was a clue cheese lover's dream. Had the pickle ranch wings and the chicken club sandwich with broccoli cheese soup on the side as our entrees. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Now, here's what you should absolutely order if you go here. Do not skip the pretzel with a side of beer cheese or the desserts. The pretzel is like the old Auntie Anne's pretzels in the mall years ago - only a thousand times better!! I will never come here and not order this again every single time. If you like huge, fluffy, salty, crispy on the outside pretzels, this is THE place to get them!! 10 out of 10! For dessert, we got the trio dessert (can't remember the name), but it came with 3 different skillet cookies, topped with ice cream and whipped cream and it was sinful how good they were! We got the chocolate chunk, the caramel and the strawberry shortcake. No words. Just drool. Lots of drool! I can't wait to come back and try their burgers, steaks and pizza - they looked so good too as I watched them being carried out to other tables. They have an extensive menu so you will not have a problem finding something you like. Shout out to our server Devin - she was fantastic, very helpful, kind and very attentive to all of our needs and special requests! Bartender Todd was also amazing and so friendly!
