Elegant bar with indoor and outdoor seating in downtown Burlingame. They serve creative Asian-fusion vegan dishes and they have a very extensive drink menu (both alcoholic and non alcoholic). I loved the mushroom dumplings. They had a nice chili oil sauce and tasted hearty even though they didn't contain meat. The crispy mushrooms were too spicy for me, but the sauce it came with was very good. I tried the rotating thirteenth month drink which was too strong for me, but it's a very cool concept! You bite into the flower as you drink and it changes the taste of the drink. They have happy hour deals 2-5pm where all specialty cocktails are $15!

Twelvemonth came by request of my good friend. She enjoys this spot, and since she's vegan and I have dietary restrictions, it felt like a great place to gather. The vibes and food were both immaculate, and I'd love to come back! I brought my pup, so we sat outside. As soon as I entered their space, I was impressed by how nice, spacious, and gorgeous it was! The inside gives off a modern yet upscale vibe--and we love how dog-friendly they are! The service was great. Our waitress was friendly, kind, and so sweet to my pup. Wait times can vary, and we were occasionally checked on, but we were a bit hidden. Everything here is plant-based. They have entrees and bar bites. I always strive to get food I normally don't eat, but this time I opted for the Al Pastor Tacos, which I love in the non-plant-based version. Their tacos were on point! Great texture and flavor; loved the sauces and seasonings as well. Portions were filling, but the prices here are a bit higher given the portion sizes and ingredients. Still, a great spot if you or someone you know is vegan. Twelvemonth is such a vibe, and I'd be open to coming again if I were in the area! Find them off the main stretch of Lorton Ave. Parking is available in their public lots or on the street.

Beautiful restaurant and perfectly curated ambience. Sat in the main dining area but you can't go wrong with any seat. Drinks are sweet. I liked my friends pomodoro paloma more than my burlingame bombshell. For food, my friend and I liked the king oyster ceviche the most. I loved the ingredients they paired with the ceviche, especially the corn and the avocado. My friend tried the spaghetti pomodoro which tasted bright and citrus forward. I enjoyed my campanelle. It was more creamy and came with a pickled topping that complemented it so well. I had so much fun experiencing the flavors of our food. The only thing we did not really enjoy was the coconut cake dessert, i think the flavors didn't pair well and we didn't really like the peach. Service was okay. I think the general staff was very attentive but I never saw my server; I always had to flag someone down to call my server over.

This is a gorgeous spot in Burlingame serving craft drinks and plant based fare. We sat at the bar and got a few drinks before dinner. They are in the high end for pricing ($20+) but they are really special and high quality. The interior is beautiful and there is a bar plus tons of outdoor and indoor seating. Staff are super polite

I really wanted to like this place, but the atmosphere felt more pretentious than welcoming. It seemed like the staff cared more about projecting an exclusive, "too cool for you" vibe than making customers feel comfortable. Being upscale is one thing, but treating people like they're inconveniencing you is another. The bartender (white/blonde hair) didn't greet us and reply when we thanked him and said goodbye. Rude! The drinks were decent, but nothing that justified the attitude. We had their special cocktail called the Thirteenthmonth and the Shasta Daisy. The Shasta Daisy is a tequila citrus drink but has an unpleasant nervy feel to it. There are plenty of bars with great cocktails where the staff are friendly and genuinely happy to have you there. Unfortunately, this place came across as having its nose in the air, and the overall experience left a bad impression. I won't be returning.

This is such a cool place to hang out on a nice day. The patio area is great for people watching, for dogs and to just relax after a day of shopping. Happy hour is daily from 3-5PM and they have an amazing assortment of beer, wine and non A cocktails. I haven't tried the food but it looks very appetizing coming from a meat eater. Highly recommend to check this place out!

Came by for dinner the other night and it was a mediocre experience. Made a reservation and our table was ready upon arrival. The dining area is gigantic, from the outdoor patio, the bar, the private room, to the huge indoor dining room. Twelvemonth is a vegetarian restaurant with a farm-to-table dining concept. Started off with the tater tots and they felt frozen and simply fried...bummer Moved on to the eggplant sliders which was quite tasty. The bread was fresh and the eggplant was lightly breaded. The twelvemonth salad was decent. It was quite light and refreshing. The tempura mushrooms that were a hit last time didn't feel too fresh. Felt like the mushrooms had been hanging out for some time. The lasagna was also ok. The pasta didn't seem too fresh. The marinera sauce was quite light though. Ended off the meal with the vanilla soft serve which was decent. It wasn't super creamy though. Staff were cordial throughout the evening.

Love the spacious and airy ambiance! Been here 4 times over 2025 and 2026. The first couple of times were great. The last two times have been meh in terms of both food and service. The food menu has remained relatively static and at this point, we've sampled nearly everything on the menu. Highly recommend all the salads, especially the Twelvemonth salad, the beet dish, the dumplings, the semifreddo and the pear cobbler. Everything else is strictly okay and can be hit or miss. Drinks have gotten worse over time. The only thing that has remained consistently great is the ambiance.

Incredible vegan brunch and sides, but service was a complete communication disaster. Twelvemonth is a beautiful restaurant with an organized, upscale, and luxurious interior feel. I've been here a few times now, and while I usually come for dinner, I recently tried their weekend brunch for the first time; and the food was absolutely delicious! Mimosa: Really good and a great start to the meal. Breakfast Sliders: Perfect ratio; not too much breading, a great amount of sauce, and the vegan meat was packed with flavor. French Toast: Incredibly fluffy, soft, and tasted amazing. Quiche: The texture was spot on, very flavorful, and made even better by the sauce drizzled on top. Dinner Comparison: Having been here for dinner previously, we've realized we vastly prefer their smaller plates over the mains. Their Lumpia Shanghai, Korean Fried Chicken Sliders, Loaded Tater Tots, and Biscuits & Gravy are phenomenal. However, when we tried the main courses like the ramen and risotto, we felt they just weren't as good or flavorful compared to the sides. The Service: Unfortunately, the service on this brunch visit was a complete mess. They sat us at a corner table in an empty area. We waited 10 minutes with no water and no server in sight, so we finally had to wave someone down. The person who helped us wasn't even our assigned server, but she kindly offered to take care of us anyway. After getting our food, we were only visited once; again, by a different worker. Meanwhile, our actual server was actively checking on the table right behind us but completely ignored us until we were practically done eating. Every time we needed plates, the check, or wanted to order more food/drinks, we had to wave down random servers walking past. There was zero communication and it felt like a total disaster. I'm rating Twelvemonth 3 stars after my most recent visit. While their brunch was absolutely amazing; the service this time was a complete disaster. We were sat in the corner booth area and the lack of staff communication was a total mess. This has never happened on my previous two visits, so I'm hoping it was just a one off bad day, but they really need to fix their service coordination over there. Another reason for the 3-star rating is the consistency of the food itself. On past visits, we have found the main courses on their all day dinner menu (like the ramen and risotto) to be totally flavorless. However, their side dishes like the lumpia and Korean fried chicken sliders are great. Stick to the brunch and the dinner sides, skip the dinner mains, and hope you get a better table location than we did. Twelvemonth is a fully vegan restaurant. Everything on the menu is plant based, making it incredibly easy to order without any guesswork.

    Endive salad... 8/10
    Christina S.

The service was slightly off for my one experience. By that I mean drinks from drink pairing didn't come out on time and some things were just a little slow. BUT server was super nice and fun. Foo was phenomenal. For everything being plant based... it was intriguing to see and taste what concoction a chef can come up with. Everything was delicious and one dish had a mole ( I was worried cuz I hate most mole) , but this one was VERY well done and delicious. The space is OPEN, airy, vibrant, earthy, beautiful with gorgeously high ceilings and beautiful lighting. Def recommend the tasting menu and cocktail pairing. Because.... It's affordable, and you get things to eat that are not on the menu for everyone else. It's the experience. Def enjoyable.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!! Best vegan food I have ever had in any restaurant in the Bay Area. My mom took me to celebrate my birthday and let me say-- it was the best experience. First of all, the building is absolutely GORGEOUS! Very classy and modern and an all around great vibe. Secondly, service was just as amazing. The ladies at the front were SO welcoming and sweet. Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name, but she's got beautiful curly hair), was so attentive, gave us great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed. Our water and dirty plates were refilled and replaced constantly by other lovely waiters as well. Excellent service!! Now, the FOOD is where it's all at. I am not 100% vegan, but growing up with my mother who is vegan, I've had a fair share of vegan food experiences. I have never eaten vegan food that tasted better than the non-vegan version until now. You will absolutely not miss the dairy and meat at all. My mom and I ate every single thing off of our plates. Absolutely DELICIOUS!! I was so full I could barely walk back to our car! Twelvemonth was a wonderful experience and I cannot wait until I am able to come back and try this place once again.

Quite delicious across the board. Favs were the seasonal spring asparagus salad, maitake mushrooms, Korean fried chicken sliders and lemon dessert. The lasagna was probably the best vegan lasagna I've ever had but still just a good lasagna at the end of the day, not a new elevated taste. The risotto hit super unique and I've never had anything like it - I'm not sure it was for me though with the sweet bbq apples. Food came out consistently fast and perfect. I'd say across the board maybe $3-$4 dollars too expensive for each dish given portion sizes. But fairly minor in the grand scheme. HUGE place. Gorgeous. Really well decorated, vibes are immaculate. Good outdoor space. Loved the chefs counter to watch the masters at work.

This is my 3rd time here and this season's food selection was absolutely delicious. Some dishes from prior experiences tasted okay, but this time 90% of what we got were packed with flavor! While eating the sliders and lasagna, I also forgot we were in a 100% plant-based restaurant. Highly recommend: -asparagus salad app, roasted beets app; -lasagna, risotto, and campanelle mains. Skip the falafel plate (kind of dry). Dessert options were also okay from today's and prior experiences. The exterior and interior decor are beautiful, making this restaurant a great choice for occasions. Service has always been very friendly. Total for our party of 6 splits to $85/pp, and I think half of us were filled. Small eaters and those on diets may be satisfied with the fairly small portions, but big eaters/ayce chasers, and athletes will mostly likely not get their fill. However, I come here to celebrate special occasions with good company, not to get the best value for food volume, and it has always been a great experience.

    Ask the Community - Twelvemonth

    Are there gluten free options?

Get a salad without croutons. By the way there is nothing overwhelming about the food here, it's below average and pricy for what it is.

    What time is happy hour?

Happy hour is 2pm - 5pm daily in the bar! We just launched our "all day menu" which includes a lot of the bar and dining room fan favorites that can enjoyed all day long in our bar and lounge areas and the dining room for lunch.

Are dogs welcome on the patio? If my son orders from the kids menu, would the prix fixe special lunch menu still be available to the adult diners at the table? Would love to make a reservation to celebrate my upcoming birthday if family friendly!

Yep, we’re dog-friendly on the patio! Kids under 12 can order from the kids menu if the rest of the group is doing the prix fixe. Just a heads-up: for large parties at dinner, we do have a per-person minimum, no matter the age.

I see you offer a $50 Prix fixe menu. Is that every day?

Last time I dined here, that was the case. You can order the tasting menu or from the regular menu.

    What are the bakehouse hours?

    Thursday through Sunday 8am - 2pm.

Is there wifi at this location?

    We do not, unfortunately!

Do you have any gluten free options on your menu ? Thank you

We do! Our servers are well versed on the menu and can help you choose/ modify options that can accommodate your diet as needed.

Will you be open for Christmas? Thank you.

We will be closed on Christmas. But we will reopen on the 26th.

Are you still open for breakfast on the weekends and will you turn on the outdoor heaters if it's cold?

Hi there! We aren’t open for brunch just yet. We are open for lunch Tuesday through Saturday 11 to 2 with dinner service 5 to 9pm. For chillier days, we will either close the patio or utilize the heat lamps!

Is there happy hour? If so, what days and times?

Hi there! We don't have a happy hour, but our bar hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

    Is there a corkage fee?

There is a $20 corkage fee per 750ml bottle

Can we bring a cake to celebrate a birthday?

Yes! We request if the cake isn’t vegan you let our staff know so we can prevent cross contamination. The fee is $3.50 / person.

Looks beautiful and fancy. Would this be the kind of restaurant we could pop into after our grandson's baseball game or would we have to go home and change?

    Come as you are!

Reservations? Is this an all vegan restaurant?

Hi there! Yes the entire restaurant is vegan. We use the term "plant-based" to foster a more inclusive feel for guests who prefer to eat all kinds of different diets.

    Is their pasta gluten free?

Our menu changes seasonally. However, while we do have gluten free options, every pasta may not be gluten free. Our main focus will always be plant-based ingredients.

Do you serve wine and mixed alcoholic drinks?

We currently have a curated list of mocktails, cocktails, beer and wine. Once we open the entire restaurant, we will offer a full bar!

Service was perfectly fine. My main criticism is the lunch menu, or really the lack of one. It feels like they serve essentially the same menu all day, without many of the options you'd expect at lunch: adding grilled meat to a salad, for example, or getting a gyro or souvlaki sandwich. I found that surprisingly limiting, particularly given how good the food is, and it may help explain why the restaurant wasn't busier at lunch. Because of the way the menu is structured, we ended up mostly sharing starters and then splitting one main course, which worked fine but seems like an odd way to have to build a lunch. One nice feature is the outdoor seating. The tables are shaded, and the patio faces an alley rather than the street, which makes it noticeably quieter and more relaxing. Overall, very good food, highlighted by the excellent beef souvlaki and tzatziki. I'd happily return, but I wish they offered a more conventional lunch menu.

3.5 STARS *UNCE UNCE…read moreUNCE* I haven't been to Burlingame for dinner in a looooong time so upon arriving to Mykonos, I was surprised to find...it was poppin'! Esp when I was able to make last minute rezzies (an hour prior) and they had wide availability. The indoor dining room was packed and about 90% of the ample outdoor seating was filled. The house music was bumpin' and with the purple lighting inside, the whole vibe reminded me of Fluid Lounge in the city (iykyk). Sister resto to Roma Antica, Bottega, 'Napizza, and The Rustic in the city and Capri Lasagneria in Burlingame, Mykonos has been on my list to go to since they opened in 2020. For Burlingame standards, I found the Greek + Med fare with a full bar, to be fairly priced. They do charge a 4% hospitality fee. F O O D * Complimentary Pita Yea, it's commercial but hey, it's free and it's served warm and toasty. * Saghanaki: Pan-fried Kefalotyri Cheese w/ lemon + oregano ($14) Flamed tableside, the saghanaki makes for a great TT/reel with cheese pulls but it was just meh. It was very salty and the cast iron pan wasn't hot so the cheese quickly cooled and hardened. * Octopus w/ Greek-inspired chickpea puree ($19) Sous-vide then finished on the grill, the octopus was tender but could have used more time on the grill for a hotter temp and deeper char. The bed of chickpea puree was dry and gritty. * Lamb Riblets w/ lemon + oregano ($17) A generous portion of meltingly tender lamb riblets (5-6 bones) but I wasn't a fan of the indistinguishable brown sauce it was finished with. * Braised Lamb Shank w/ orzo & myzithra cheese ($34) A hearty comfort dish perfect for sharing, the braised lamb shank was perfectly cooked...so rich, tender, and savory with a pleasant gamey flavor. The accompanying orzo with olives was overly salty. S E R V I C E Awesome hospitality and customer service - our server was so kind, gracious and attentive with the warm manager checking in with every table. Considering how packed they were, our entire order quickly arrived and we were done in 35 minutes. A M B I A N C E Looking for club vibes? Sit indoors. Want a quieter meal with people watching? Sit outside at either the parklet, sidewalk tables, or side patio. Overall, Mykonos knows how to do lamb right! I found the food to be more reliant on salt for my preference, as I enjoy more traditional seasoning with herbs, spices, garlic, lemon, etc. 3.5 stars rounded up for the great service.

Focaccia was free, and was paired with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Squid ink pasta was a stand out - noodles were perfectly el dente and the sauce was flavorful and creamy. I was surprised at the amount of bay scallops that were in the dish. Tiramisu ended the meal, decent dessert, I could actually taste the coffee that the lady fingers were soaked in, so it wasn't dry. The mascarpone was a bit hard, like it was just in the fridge but the flavor was still good. Solid modern Italian restaurant, ambience is pretty casual and a lot of customers were ordering wine around us, so it's a nice place to unwind for dinner.

This is definitely a spot for a date, family get together or business dinner. I highly recommend the osso buco which is tender veal shank with polenta. It is so tender and juicy, you'd want seconds even though you may be already full. As for the cocktail, I recommend the barrel aged Negroni which has Ford's Gin, Carpano Antica and Campari. It is the perfect combination of sweet and bitter. For desert I had the bourbon bread pudding and my wife had the apple gallete which was sweet but not overly so. It was perfect in that it let the apple flavor shine through without being cloying. If you haven't been, you must go!

Somewhere along the way, I missed Stella. I frequent most of the eateries along Burlingame Ave.,…read morebut didn't notice this spacious Italian restaurant until recently. We've since dined here a few times, & are still working our way down their extensive menu. The Baked Garlic Butter Lobster "Escargot Style" is perhaps one of the best ways to start a meal at Stella. The Antipasto Piemontese with its salty cheeses, roasted veggies, & cured meats is another winner. While they've won me over with excellent appetizers, Stella's pastas don't hold a candle to my favorite spots. The Truffle-Stuffed Gnocchi with Brown Butter & Sage tastes like two dishes in one with flavors that don't necessary meld well; it's one of the restaurant's most popular dishes, but for me, the truffle overpowers the delicate brown butter sauce. As for Gianna's Eggplant Parmigiana, the texture of the thinly-sliced eggplant doesn't make for the silkiest bite; I wasn't expecting such a rough mouthfeel from this dish. I'll have to try their meat & seafood dishes on my next visit.

This is our third time here, each visit keeps getting better!…read more Highly recommend trying the corn chaat and the white elephant dosa. The chaat has such a perfect balance of sweet, savory, spicy, and has an incredibly addictive chew. The elephant dosa is the best dosa on the peninsula - their spice adds a subtle flavor and aroma that is unmatched. Shoutout to our waitress Jenna who was so professional and was so attentive waiting on us. She made our experience all the much better, thank you Jenna!

I'm a wheelchair user the first issue was they had a bunch of decorations on the ground which meant that they had to shift and move them there was also no clear way for me to get my wheelchair to a bathroom The music and I kid you not was 1980s Elevator Music to the moon and back to New York City, but done with a synthesizer I love the sliders. I always have mine arrived mushy and the bread looked and taste exactly like it would come from the Hawaiian buns that I bought at the store. The Patty tasted almost exactly what I get at Trader Joe's. I was really surprised that used to be my favorite thing. The $12 ginger ale tasted like the ginger ale get at Trader Joe's again I'm very surprised I used to love all When we got our bill, we were charged for our meal and the meal next to us They were kind enough to take $10 off after we had to set the table for a long time waiting for this to be resolved I don't know if they have a different thing going for Sunday, but everything felt very cheap, including coronations on the table. Nothing felt special. The service was kind, but also not solicitous It felt like a massive downgrade from the last time I had been there, and I was very confused from the music to the food levels to the inability to move the wheelchair around. It was just surprising. I would not have bothered to write this if it wasn't so insanely expensive To have an appetizer with $18 my husband's main was 34 the ginger ale well I understand they make it there was $12 for a glass. It just felt like I was paying for an elevated experience that I did not receive. Again, I've have been going there for years. This was just a massive downshift from what I was used to.
