I love the gluten free wraps here. I've tried all and my favorites are the Avo Tuna wrap, the Protein Powerhouse, and the Spicy Chicken Caesar wrap. The salads and grain bowls are also excellent. There's plenty of seating in the upper level of the food hall. This is a great place to grab a quick and healthy lunch in the area.

    The Grimewrap (bbq chicken)

One of my *favorite* gluten-free quickeats in the city! It's conveniently located in the center of midtown, within a food hall with a ton of other dining options. Ordering was very easy - they have a clear menu and I love how everything, the wraps, salads, and bowls, can all be customizable. I honestly feel a bit overwhelmed by the sheer amount of choices and usually stick to the preset flavor combinations, which I've always enjoyed so I don't think you can go wrong. My favorite by far is the grimewrap, which contains brown rice as a base, bbq chicken, romaine, avocado, bacon, and this amazing mango ranch sauce that I can never get enough of! The wrap portions are quite large - I usually am full after just eating half, so I think this meal is very worth its price. After getting your food, there's so much ample seating on the second floor of the food hall (though as a heads up, at super peak lunch rush hours, it may be a bit harder to find available spots). Whenever I'm in the area, I know I can always fall back on Twentyonegrains for a quick, simple, healthy, and above everything else, tasty meal!

    Hungry Bowl

Twentyonee grains is in the Urban marketplace on west 52nd. You can customize a grain bowl with a variety of toppings. I had the hungry bowl which consisted of rice, chicken, beans, corn, tortilla chips, avocado, and mango chutney. It was a good clean lunch but nothing out of this world. I would come here again for a quick and healthy lunch.

    Buffalo cauliflower wrap

What an amazing wrap! I've ordered the buffalo cauliflower wrap and it's absolutely amazing! The perfect mix of healthy, tasty and filling. I'm sure I'll go back for more;)

We stopped in around 9:30 AM on a Saturday, and the place was buzzing--a clear sign of its popularity. While it is strictly a "to-go" spot, the efficiency of the operation makes the morning rush manageable. The Logistics & Ordering The menu is expansive, spanning three screens with an incredible variety of bagel types, cream cheese flavors, meats, and cheeses. Despite the line, the ordering process was straightforward. A major plus: you have the option to have your bagel toasted before they assemble the sandwich. Our coffees were ready within 2-3 minutes, and the sandwiches followed about 10 minutes later--very reasonable given how busy they were. The Food I went with a classic Sausage, Egg, and Cheese on an Egg Bagel. * The Bagel: The egg bagel itself was phenomenal. It had that perfect, authentic texture that makes NYC bagels famous. * The Build: The sandwich was very generously portioned. Every bite was delicious, well-balanced, and exactly what you want from a hearty breakfast sandwich. The "Extras" One of the most charming and unexpected parts of BTS is their candy selection. They carry an array of nostalgic and "internet-famous" treats I didn't even realize were still in production (or existed at all!). The arancini was a standout: perfectly crisp on the outside, creamy inside, and served with a rich, delicious sauce that tied it all together. We ended on the tiramisu, which was absolutely worth saving room. It was light, flavorful, and a perfect finish to the meal. What really elevated the experience, though, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind and helpful--especially notable for New York--and it made the whole evening feel relaxed and welcoming. A small heads-up: it's a bit tricky to find, so give yourself extra time. That said, the hidden, underground subway setting is part of the charm and makes the whole experience feel unique. I'd love to see more restaurants creatively use these kinds of spaces in the future.

It is located right in the hallway of a subway entrance, next to a bar and across from a coffee shop, and it somehow manages to feel like a cozy, sit-down restaurant right in the middle of NYC. Don't let the odd location fool you, the food here is outstanding. The Neapolitan and Sicilian-style pizzas are both exceptional, with rich, well-balanced flavors and perfectly executed crusts. Every bite tastes high quality. Also, don't skip the house-made lemonade! The experience is even better because of the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. They were all so kind to so many people. From offering to keep leftovers in the fridge until a customer was done at their broadway show, to offering a scone to a young child while he and his father waited for their pizza to be done, it was more than just flipping a table and onto the next tip, it was humanity at its best. Be sure to give See No Evil Pizza a try. You certainly will want to come back again for more.

Not as good as the one I sampled in Copenhagen, Denmark. But it's worthy of your time and curiosity. Their sugar twist would pair nicely with a black coffee.
